I have as well and I think a lot of that "advice" is just about justifying it. I think I came to realization last night that either road will be hard. I might as well stay for now and give it my all. My kids deserve that and if there is a chance to help my wife as well I should try.

Alimony wont be an issue we make about the same and am in a state with "reforms". Good advice on the 50/50. One lawyer said its harder to get that with younger kids, that was a year ago. The attorney I spoke with recently did not go into that but said i could expect some type of shared custody.
