I guess it’s porn that made us do this? A lot of the time, especially when I was young, women would just initiate the blowjob before sex like it was routine. The older I get as a guy the more I realize how lousy I was most of the time

Is there no difference to you between sexual acts you perform on someone and sexual acts someone else performs on you?

What an odd gotcha, no duh, same exact why that if she pegged people before but now doesn’t want to peg you, I think you’re valid for being upset.

Not at all man, a girl that I want to take things seriously with but she doesn’t want to settle down with me? Just wants to use me for good sex? I see where you’re coming from with “you’re still winning” too a degree yes, I’m getting access to her in some capacity but not the one I’m looking for

As a “hook up” guy, I actually disagree. Of course, the attraction will essentially always be there but I’m telling you, you’re most likely gonna lose out to the guy who’s maybe a little less attractive than you but she shares an actual emotional bond with that person. Can’t tell you how many times that’s happened to me. And yes sometimes I’d still have access to them sexually but not romantically in that way you know

Reread your last paragraph, it’s not the conversation skills that makes the difference it’s the content of the conversation. I will never understand how men act “friendly” towards and women and then are surprised when she considers you a…..friend

If all that’s holding you and your partner together (raw attraction) that’s not a very strong bond. I personally think all human relationships boil down to a lot more than just base level attraction. In fact I feel like that’s exactly what separates someone from being a hook up and a potential partner

Honestly when it comes to in person, I just let the women approach me. If they’re interested they usually come up to me. I do approach myself sometimes but I also use dating apps pretty frequently. Have success with both but I can say the women I met in person, the relationship or hook up that follows is always more engaging and “natural”. It ends up being way more organic and I feel way better about the experience than I do from dating apps. Getting matches and sleeping with girls from there is…

From what I see, most men are actually too afraid to really approach women or don’t even give themselves the chance (putting yourself in situations where you can meet women)

Just curious, isn’t the end goal marriage or at least finding something sustainable/consistent?

From what I’ve seen in my personal experience, seems like a lot of people work on a “don’t ask don’t tell” basis. So I mean maybe they would care if they knew their wife was the former community swimming pool but who knows maybe they wouldn’t. Guys are usually willing to put up with/accept a lot more

Amazes me still that not making a particular women or any women at all your #1 priority is still seen as being an “asshole.” I don’t text her back within 30 seconds of receiving her message because I have other shit to do. It has nothing to do with me being an ass, that’s just not the top of my priorities. For most of these “nice guys” talking/getting with these women is the highlight of their life, even if they wanted to they can’t help it, they’re completely obsessed/fixated on them.

Money wise I’m pretty average for my age and location but above average with looks. It’s funny though because people always think dating is super easy for me and meeting women and starting to date them is super easy I’ll admit BUT actually keeping them around without their own insecurities eating away at the connection is so fucking tough is crazy. I can’t have any female friends/acquaintance without them thinking they I’ve already slept with them or at any point in time I will sleep with them. …

I love reading the comments for these. Found the person that laser focuses on one minuscule point while conveniently avoiding the actual argument. Those puberty blockers are definitely blocking something

I’d still say the root of that is women, I mean naturally guys are more competitive than women but of the reason that they are competitive in that way is because/for women. Even though I will say that I think on average women say they don’t like when guys put other guys down/demean them in front of them at least, they’re still aware of the hierarchy though and the men at the type of the hierarchy still get majority of women

Take it from someone who knows too well, looks do not triumph everything when it comes to what really matters, building and maintaining relationships so i agree, I don't see why people harp on it so much. Maybe it's easier for some people to say but how you're born is how you're born, no sense stressing over factors out of your control

Highly doubt it. If they were honest with most men, they would just be called liars or the reaction would be a lot more adverse than letting someone down easy
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/22 04:25 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
