3	POS shit mom telling kid to "be a man" and "stop being a sissy". I won't share too many details - but I saw almost the exact same scenario play out. Son (mid fifties, plenty of flaws). Mother (80's, abusive, dying of cancer). Son visits mother in the hospital, finds out she is terminal, cries. Mother says " stop crying, act like a man"... I kind of subscribe to the burden of manhood and being a man...but jesus Christ, if there is one time you should be allowed some tears, it's when family is dying. My feeling is shitty conduct/products/behavior (culture) should be called out. But rather than require laws banning stuff deemed offensive (purely subjective and a slippery slope), there are better methods. I'd suggest you look more into the evolvement Hate Speech laws in other countries and the growing effects.
