The next 2-3 week of parody videos is going to be gold.

Why do we always have to jump to the conclusion that the student was a victim? (this applies regardless of gender)

Using “guys” to mean “people”. This is not sexist. "You guys" is what they say in the north; "y'all" is what they say in the south. If "you guys" is sexist, then "y'all" is also sexist. Which is, of course, ridiculous. Similarly: “girls” for “women”. No, not sexist. Especially in tech where people tend to be younger. A female in her 20's is perfectly logically referred to as a girl. If someone gets offended over that, they are looking to be offended. “Mom” as an example of a non-technical user. …

I think most feminists would consider me an "MRA extremist". Why? Because I believe that both men and women are equally advantaged and disadvantaged in the United States. The genders are basically equal overall, because each gender carries privilege in certain areas. I oppose feminism because they want to correct the areas where women are disadvantaged without changing the areas where men are disadvantaged.

Do you feel that men, or women, are greater "victims" of society and government?

This is bad for men. If a woman has sex with you when she doesn't want to, that is rape because she isn't really consenting. It's Russian Roulette.

I wonder if the past 8 years of "war on women" cries from Democrats has contributed at all to the deterioration of gender relations over the same time period.

I'm circumcised and I'm not a victim. That's really my only opinion on the topic. I think that crying "I'm a victim" is the feminists way. I've never heard anyone say that they were a "victim of circumcision". I've only heard people say that "young boys are victimized by circumcision". I don't see a victim. I don't see a problem.

women make less money than men That is actually true. Think of all the households with either (a) only one wage-earner or (b) one primary wage-earner. More often than not, it is going to be the guy earning the money and the girl taking care of the home/family. So you have all of those families skewing the statistic showing that "men make more money than women". Of course, most men work with the idea of, someday, being able to retire and not work. so I'm not sure how getting to not work, and be s…

Friendship requires trust, and friendships are really the most important part of life. I find that a very interesting and (to me) bizarre perspective. I've pretty much never trusted anyone (and the few times I've come close, I've been reminded why I don't) and I've also always thought friends were unnecessary at best and worthless at worst. Different strokes, I guess.

Not every regrettable sexual encounter is rape. Unless it occurs on a University of California campus, of course.

This is what you get when you tell 18-20 year old women that if they don't say "yes" repeatedly throughout a sexual encounter, it means they were raped.

some women do lie about rape -- for revenge, to cover up some problem in their own lives, to get attention and sympathy from others. No. No. No. That type of false accusation is very minimal and probably not worth worrying about. The vast majority of false rape accusations are situation where the girl honestly believes that she was raped despite the sex being consensual. This is because feminist (and politicians) have so bastardized the definition of "rape" that women now honestly believe that r…

Like so many others, this article gets the whole concept of false rape allegations wrong. Are there some allegations that are wholly fabricated out of maliciousness, revenge or mental illness? Sure. But the vast, vast majority of false rape allegations are the result of confusion. But the confusion is being intentionally driven by feminists, is getting worse, and is quickly becoming a systemic problem. The real issue of false rape accusations is when women honestly believe that they were raped w…

John Doe, who claims he was wrongly expelled his freshman year. There's no "he said, she said." Both parties — as well as an outside investigator hired by the college — agree that John Doe and his accuser, Jane Doe, had consensual sex. And that's why these campus sexual assault policies terrify men: Because it turns consensual sex into rape. That article was horrifying... and I'm a 47 year old married guy. I can't imagine what it is like being a 20 year old college kid these days. Every time you…

Feminists want to limit, reduce and remove men's rights. Why would a self-identifying men's rights activist consider themselves a feminist? It'd be like claiming to be a Christian Atheist.

I understand the initial reflex action to look at this as a big professional football player attacking his poor, fragile, female fiancée. But what if the real situation is that Ray Rice is the victim of on-going domestic abuse? We know that male victims of domestic abuse are often shunned, not believed, made fun of and expected to "just protect themselves". Imagine how much more extreme all of those would be for a professional athlete who is being abused by his wife/fiancée. So, with a pattern o…

That is when Ray should have walked away not towards her and getting in a confined space with her "Stop victim blaming! Stop victim blaming! No one deserves to get hit! People have a right to use the elevator! Stop victim blaming!"

She hits him in the hallway before getting on the elevator She hits him again when they are close together on the elevator He backs away after getting hit; gets as far away from her as possible in the small confines of the elevator She comes at him again in a threatening manner that makes it looks like she is ready to attack again Ray Rice defends himself from an attack.

Odds are the guy got arrested anyway. Ray Rice was defending himself from an aggressor and look how things are turning out for him.

Quite a long article so I didn't read the whole thing, but.... Seems to me that these women are just being more transparent with their motives that some others. It is no mystery that, in western countries, a woman's desire to marry a man is at least somewhat dependent upon his ability to provide for her and take care of her. That seems to be the same thing these Vietnamese women are doing.

Am I the only one who thinks that the real problem here is feminist's continual watering-down of what is considered "rape"? I get it. These rules (not the enforcement, but the rules themselves) make sense: If you're a 19 year old girl who was legitimately (there's that word) raped by a classmate at your college, you don't really want to see that guy wandering around campus or sitting next to you in Marketing 101. So the only way to avoid that is for either the girl to leave college, or the guy t…

A similar bill in Florida was vetoed by the (Republican) governor a couple years ago under pressure from feminist groups (easy target with the whole "war on women" bullshit). I'm so glad that feminism exists because they are clearly just fighting for gender equality! /s

If you honestly believe that it is actually rape when That is, for all intents and purposes you think the person is consenting, all signs point towards it, but in their mind they aren't consenting. Then why wouldn't you advocate prosecution of the rapist? Are there other instances where you think rapists should be permitted to "just get away with it"? My contention is that you don't actually believe that what you described is rape.

In an ideal case, consent would be withdrawn clearly and verbally but I know from past relationships that sometimes isn't possible. I'm talking literal panic attacks where she couldn't speak. That is still putting the onus on the alleged perpetrator to recognize, understand and accurately interpret the alleged victims feelings. That's impossible. If she seems into it then she seems into it. It isn't really realistic for someone to be able read her mind and figure out she's going to regret it the…

It'd be easier - or at least more effective - to just teach women to consent. If women consented 100% of the time, male-on-female rape could be a thing of the past. #UtopianDreams

We must move in different circles. I don't know of any men in this situation. And I know of dozens of women who are financially supported by their husbands. Sometimes it is because the woman takes care of the kids. Sometime it is just because the woman doesn't want to work.

I would totally choose to be a female without a second thought. I'm a 47 year old male spending my life working until I am able to accumulate enough money so I don't have to work anymore. If I were a woman, I could get married, quit my job and let my husband support me... and no one would bat an eye. And if I grew tired of him, I could divorce him, get half the marital assets and have him cut me a check for the rest of his life while I had absolutely no further obligations to him. Basically, as …

but did disclose it to a doctor at the New York university's health center on Feb. 27 when she went to get tested for sexually transmitted infections. The doctor fetched another colleague, who agreed they needed to inform campus security, I thought HIPPA pretty much prohibited doctors (or anyone else) from sharing your medical history with others. Wonder why that didn't apply here.
