Does anyone else struggle with mental illness? I’ve been on antidepressants for over a year and I’m switching them soon. A huge reason why I feel this terrible is because of men’s treatment in society.Yeah I've had depression since my mother died when I was about 10 (im 16 now) and ive never taken antidepressants. I cant. Im afraid to get addicted like how my mother was addicted to drugs. Then tons of other things happened and now I've just been feeling kind of empty for a long time but recently I started being a little bit more happy because of my girlfriend. I love her and she is extremely supportive and supportive of the MRA. She is one of the only women who actually give a shit about me a… | /r/MensRights | 06/04/21 12:18 PM

masculinityI dont fucking know to be honest. Plus your questions is very vague. But ill still give the best answer i can. As a guy and I dont know if this is just me but im terrified of even looking at a women and getting accused of something. Or when im depressed im told to man up. What being a man is nowadays is being a hollow shell that todays society tries to fill up with complete and utter bullshit propaganda telling me to "be myself" then get pissed when I am myself. I like doing manly things. I like… | /r/MensRights | 30/03/21 02:18 PM
I like this subreddit. But....I agree but everytime ive tried to talk to a girl about men's issues besides my girlfriend they immediately insult me calling me sexist or misogynistic for just pointing out men's issues. I never use profanities or insult them but every single time I've debates with one of them they immediately start calling me names but no its not all women but a lot of girls don't seem to understand its also not all men and each time I try and make that point I get attacked for it. | /r/MensRights | 30/03/21 01:14 AM
It's okay to be a man. Being a man is not a crime. In fact, the world is a better place with you in it.You are definitely right I barely had any confidence in my academic abilities and my social abilities and it took a lot to ask out my current girlfriend who is amazing and very supportive of me and the men's rights movement | /r/MensRights | 13/03/21 07:15 PM

What your personal thoughts on trans peopleI personally don't have a problem with trans people. I have trans friends and they are pretty nice people but when they make that their entire personality it becomes an issues. If I dont know they prefer to be called something and I say the wrong thing and they get pissed at me because they didn't tell me then I have an issue | /r/MensRights | 10/02/21 01:37 PM
I’ a man, How is this sub any different from victim mentality?I completely agree we should have a sub where everyone can talk about their problems without being told our problems are stupid | /r/MensRights | 08/02/21 02:10 PM
I’ a man, How is this sub any different from victim mentality?Im not generalizing women and if I did I didnt mean it and it was my step mother that did those things my mother was in my life much because she was a drug addict and didn't want me to see her until she was better but she died in a car crash and her son my step brother laughed at me because my mother died and I almost busted his teeth in for it. I never got help for these things because people didn't really care I mean my father cared but by the time I could get help I didnt really know what to … | /r/MensRights | 08/02/21 02:07 PM
I’ a man, How is this sub any different from victim mentality?Im saying both men and women have issues and a lot of women's issues are taken care of while us guys barely get help because people literally don't care | /r/MensRights | 08/02/21 01:52 PM
I’ a man, How is this sub any different from victim mentality? You would pretty much get ignored or banned almost immediately and called a misogynistic asshole. Atleast here people support you if you went through something as a guy. Like me I was abused by my stepmother she told me pretty much i was worthless everyday for 5 years and that everything was my fault and when my father broke up with her she immediately accused him of raping her 5 year old daughter which btw didnt happen she didn't even have evidence and my father had multiple witnesses and evide… | /r/MensRights | 08/02/21 01:17 PM
