True, but the masculine grows by challenge. There's danger in getting comfortable and content with where you're at and not pushing ahead. Most dudes here have no idea how deep the rabbit hole goes, myself included.

I don't fuck around with kids and water. There was a toddler that drowned in my neighborhood when I was a kid, same type of situation. That always stuck with me.

There's danger in comfort. It's ok to live in the present and acknowledge/be happy with your progress, but always be eyeing the next mountain to climb or beast to slay.

I try not to keep track of sex anymore because that is always a form of validation by comparing numbers week to week. It's literally a scorecard to yourself to validate your progress. I did this too in the beginning and would oftentimes initiate just to up my score and convince myself I was on track, instead of simply fucking my woman because I'm a man and I want to fuck. Women can sniff out the difference a mile away.

Good shit. My yearly timeline mirrors yours very closely. We usually go to Florida for spring break, but apart from ice fishing some weekends it's more family time in Q1. Now that it's starting to warm up it's time to get the boat out and chase long beards. Summer is usually very busy with weekend trips and fishing. And the fall is mine. We call them "Deer Camp Widows" around here, haha. But like you said, it's all about leading your family at the same time doing what you want. A lot of friends/…

she’s the highest value girl I have been on dates with and she is making me jump through hoops to get with her. I realised that I am almost completely in her frame and am often afraid to assert my desires for fear of losing her. You're lack of assertiveness and being completely in her frame is unattractive. That's what will ultimately make her move on to find someone less of a pussy.

Fuck, bottom line is I allowed her to blow most of her paycheck and was too much of a bitch to have a boundary of not wasting money, let alone enforcing it.

Point taken. The percentage of income allocated to household expenses should be equal. The problem is her pay is so miniscule it hardly contributes, or covers reasonable day to day shit.

I've been a plow horse for 13 years, married to a college drop out SAHM. I can't change getting married straight out of college, but I can lead her to something as lucrative as possible with no education and minimal work experience.

She deposits her paychecks into a joint account, and transfers the $200 to the family account that only I have access to. The rest of it is hers for day to day expenses.

Maintenance calories at 3150 seems high to me. That's a lot of eating if you're eating clean foods. 2500 max is probably good to get you started and adjust from there depending on how much you're burning, but may have to lower based on results.

Good shit. As a very young boy, I would get up every Saturday morning to watch GI Joe at 6am, then a couple hours of fishing/hunting shows. My Dad grew up in the City and never fished or hunted in his life, but for some reason it came to me very naturally and instinctually. It's more important than ever now that the pussification of America is complete, to spend time in the outdoors embracing your natural instincts, not ignoring them. Totally agree on the memories afield. I've always been an exp…

I remember reading your Part 5 post and it striking a cord big time, a re-read was much needed and refreshing. I'm even more excited for this weekend now. Tapping back into my sense of adventure is definitely where I'm at now. Pre-RP I wouldn't go as much because I didn't want to hear my Wife bitch and argue about it. Now not giving a fuck is opening up more things to me. Time to get the fuck out of the basement.

"Its funny how your goals change as you transform your mental models" No doubt. In the beginning you don't know what you don't know. You think if my wife would blow me like a pornstar, that's what I really want. But once you prioritize yourself and your goals, the sex comes naturally because your a busy HVM and stopped caring about getting your wife to do whatever. The masculine grows on challenge and INTERNAL growth. Not external validation.

Point taken, and it is to conquer life but I'll continue to spin in circles if I don't master myself first. I can sense the internal progress happening and the mission is becoming more clear as I my authenticity grows. Shit seems to fall in place when I'm real and allow that masculine energy to flow. I understand, thanks for this. A lot to ponder. I've subtly tried to guide a couple family members who have various struggles but only when I've been in a positive state of clarity myself. My efforts touched a cord I hope, but usually it ended being a fuck it, you can only lead a horse to water situation. But I get what you're saying. Directly from NMMNG...."Show Daughters what a real man looks like. Girls benefit by seeing their Father set boundaries, ask for what they want in clear and direct ways, work hard, create, produce, have male friends, and make their own needs a priority. This modeling will have a positive influence on their choice of future partners."

For sure, there's a reason it's part of the "graduate level" sidebar readings. You have to understand the basics first to fully appreciate the mindset, and spiritual flow being conveyed. Like a lot of Shit with MRP, I read WotSM at just the right time to keep me on course and my former angry beta self buried in the backyard.

Great post, I always enjoy the 1 or 2 year updates but this is obviously higher level. Great reminder to constantly keep your foot on the gas regardless of how much your life has improved after taking the pill. I'm approaching 1 year in and appreciate the insight on how deep the rabbit hole can go.

You already know what to do. What you don't realize is how fortunate you are to have discovered red pill prior to marrying a cheating LTR. Not sure what's up with your back, but start lifting today like your life depends on it. Use your anger to fuel workouts. Know how to get abundance mentality? Be jacked as fuck so you expect attractive women to check you out everywhere you go. Then have enough game to talk to said women and close the deal. Not rocket science...big muscles + game = wet vagina.

I'll add be very aware of the impending anger phase as well. That Shit hit me like a freight train a few weeks in after noob gains initially had me feeling great for the first time in years. Thinking you can plow ahead without following levels of dread SLOWLY will fuck your progress up significantly. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.

No doubt, be the male example to your entire family. When I started lifting consistently after unplugging, all 3 of my kids wanted to watch and "work out" with Dad in the basement. Now I catch my 8yo Son doing pushups before bed by himself because he said he wants to be strong like me.

Read "Bigger, Leaner, Stronger", everything you'll ever need to know in there. In summary, diet is ultra important to your gains. Eat at least ~500 calories above your TDEE and focus on heavy compound lifts (deadlift, squat, bench, OHP, row, etc) in the 4-6 rep range. Use myfitnesspal app to track macros every day very easily. Add weight or increase reps every workout and you're muscles have no choice but to respond by growing. Also a huge believer in setting realistic but challenging goals and …

"Whoever stays down is a LOSER. You always get up, that is a WINNER." - Arnold Your trend line will go up and down as you experience successes and make mistakes. The point is it always trends up over time as you continuously improve yourself. You're going to make mistakes. Recognize you made one, learn from it, and cowboy the fuck up and get back on the wagon.

I don't have any book suggestions but basic advice is to listen to your instincts and don't over think everything. I've seen a lot of parents do dumb shit because they "read it in a book". Whether you have girls or boys, be the male example for them to follow and look up to. Not sure your current kid situation, but one word of caution. When you have your first kid, its easy to start to follow your Wife's lead more because most guys are clueless with infants. The power dynamic of the relationship…

Spending that much time with your Wife on a daily basis is never a good idea. I work from home 1-2 times a week still, but before unplugging it was usually 4 days a work week. This was because I was a lazy drunk captain who avoided interacting with other people in favor of hiding out in my home office. Now I wake-up early to lift in the free gym in my building before work, go to lunch with co-workers, improve day game at upscale mall across the street, get away from the wife, audio book or podca…

My FIL drops the "happy wife, happy life" line all the time. This is the same guy who openly refers to his wife as "the boss", and is terrified of upsetting her. He's also slept on the couch the last 25+ years, fucking pathetic. Weird thing is he's a pretty alpha guy when she's not present.
/r/askMRP24/01/19 02:58 PM

In the meantime, also get a pull up bar for the home gym. OHP and various width pull/chin ups work most of your upper body effectively.
