I forgot that men cannot feel basic human emotions.Completely agree with you. The difference in ability between males and females isn't significant when taking into account the difference in ability between individuals. | /r/MensRights | 23/11/17 07:17 PM
I forgot that men cannot feel basic human emotions.I'm sorry to hear about your past, and hope that you survived in one piece. I wish you and your family a very happy Thanksgiving! | /r/MensRights | 23/11/17 06:43 PM
I forgot that men cannot feel basic human emotions.I understand that men and women have different brains. I also understand that these studies always talk about averages. I'm talking about at the individual level. It's easy to make statements like : men, in general, tend to be more competent at math. (I have no idea if the previous statement is true, it's just an example). But if you walk up to a guy and see he's good at math and think " well yea because he's a guy", that's not right. If you're scanning an entire room and are trying to find an e… | /r/MensRights | 23/11/17 06:21 PM
I forgot that men cannot feel basic human emotions.I can see how not caring what others think anymore can give you some peace of mind, however your mindset is almost dangerous. It's not whether or not you'd be offended. It's whether or not someone else can be reasonably offended by something you're doing. It isn't difficult to not say certain things to certain groups of people that may be offended en masse. One might ask : how do I know if it's reasonable to become offended by something? Firstly, if you aren't a part of the group of people who c… | /r/MensRights | 23/11/17 06:16 PM
I forgot that men cannot feel basic human emotions.I'm not offended from your comments, I'm just letting you know that many people don't like attributing their good qualities to their sex. If you (or someone else) told me I was good at math because I'm male, I wouldn't take kindly to that. I know that my example was much different than yours, as mine had less context. But, even though you are phrasing it in a much kinder way, your statement about envying men for their creativity etc is comparable. Anyways, have a good day :) | /r/MensRights | 23/11/17 05:58 PM
I forgot that men cannot feel basic human emotions.I understand that these stereotypes you have aren't created out of hate, but out of experiences you have with loved ones. I think you're making conclusions based on your own experiences and expanding them to entire populations of people. Although you aren't being hateful in any way, the way you are framing men and women is disturbing to me. Those men you are talking about aren't clever or resourceful because they're male, it's because they're resourceful/ clever people. You struggle to fix thing… | /r/MensRights | 23/11/17 05:46 PM
I forgot that men cannot feel basic human emotions.I'm absolutely horrible at dismantling and reassembling things. I'm not even close to creative compared to the average person. The only response that I could see as appropriate to a question like this would be to say that you envy something to do with sexual reproduction. Something like : I envy the fact that you don't have to menstruate. Or the flip side : I envy the fact that you can bring a baby into the world. Honestly, if you answer the question with an answer other than a biological one, y… | /r/MensRights | 23/11/17 05:10 PM
