Actually War of the Planet of the Apes is about the main character avenging the murder of his elder son (and wife, but the character seems more focused on the loss of the son) and the rescue of the younger son.

Perhaps, but as the adage goes: never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity The "we should have faith in the potential of humans" takeaway could be that the decision was based on old laws which people are now working to change, the decision was reversed upon appeal, and the local elected officials seem to be vocally supporting the reversal.

IIRC in that case it wasn't malicious on the part of the lady who did it, it was because the moms split up and the one with custody of the child had applied for some form of government aid (the details elude me) and effectively the first thing the government did to recover the money was initiate child support on the sperm donor rather that the other mom. There's a fair chance the article was written by an AI and only edited or reviewed by an actual human.

Carlson would air it, but it's because he doesn't care if what he says is actually true or not, only that it's inflammatory.

https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoXChromosomes/comments/x7ri0q/should_women_have_to_pay_child_support/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share It looks like u/Nostalg33k is very right about a lack of support.

In a world full of misinformation and disinformation sources are paramount. Without sources there's no difference between what you say and what they say.

To discourage others from inflicting the same pain.

If you intend to force your way to a natural end for the long term benefits of your kids, you should probably see a therapist and get some antidepressants. Your children will notice your pain however you hide it, so it's much better to try to genuinely overcome it.

As a group you're right, but it's folly to make assumptions about any individual, even when the context indicates the assumptions are safe.

Conversely, the point is to avoid a strawman argument. It's a faith act to not confirm someone's beliefs before arguing as if they hold opposing views to you.

A photo ID is usually not good enough. Someone I know took a girl home from a club that carded for 18+ girls and 21+ guys and ended up in pretty much the exact same position.

Neither, we try to reason with each other and when someone calls us on doing something stupid we accept it was stupid and find out how to avoid doing stupid things like it again. Internet bro hugging is OK though.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
