Yea my ass sticks out and there’s an arch for sure. But if I’m conscious of it I can tighten and “pull it in”. I’ve never heard or seen reverse hypers- doing some now- and I’ll keep my ass tense one the hangs. Thanks for the tips mate

Thanks mate- I will give that a go. The main pain seems to be glutes- and not sure if nerve or something from the glutes reaching up to top of butt. I been looking at getting a back extension thing but not sure if it’ll do anything. Every workout been doing hangs as well- while hanging I can feel where maybe there might be something off with a disc or something and if I “drop” hard without bracing core after hanging I feel a pain seems where my spine is connected to lower body.

I’ve read MMSLP but it was before I started actually OYS so I will read it again this week. Thanks for the link to that YouTube- looks good- I definitely need to work on my DL form. And yeah I’ve read calves are hard and a lot of genetics come to play.

I'm focusing only on the technical aspect and not enough on the emotional aspect People buy on emotion and justify later with logic.

I've read it before. The below after re reading is pretty much me plus and minus a few things. Especially the bolded parts... I initially came to MRP because I googled ‘why doesn’t my wife want to have sex with me’. I started reading the sidebar and lurked for a few months before I mustered the courage to post in OYS. I had the same covert contract as most people who started. I was doing this so my wife would have more sex with me. I went through the stage where sex was my priority. It was all…

Maybe I'm hanging onto the word fear too literally? But I'm not afraid or fearful of rejection or being butthurt. I know I will still get butt hurt for sure because I don't have a solid frame yet- but I also won't be pissy and moan about being rejected and have a sook in the corner. But I also appreciate your advice- so you're saying I should forget about being in the mood and just keep initiating like I was prior to last week, and I should disregard that whole idea/post about initiating from a …

validation seeking and "authentic" desire This is my thoughts from the original Horns post (I think?) you commented from? I was 100% validation seeking and then getting faggoty on rejection. I also don't need to have a raging hard on to initiate- just come from a place of 'I want to fuck' not I will initiate because I want some validation.

After lurking for years … Who is this preamble for? Why do you feel the need to tell everyone every week that it’s so hard to journal and that you didn’t used to lift? Fair call. I agree- pointless to have that in there now. If I’m horny- I’ll initiate. If I’m not- I won’t. This week I haven't really been in the mood- so haven't initiated. Maybe anger phase or something. Maybe fear of rejection or something. This “trick” gets passed around a bunch and it’s mostly bullshit guys tell themselves to…

Good points. I guess on the moisturiser thing I was thinking be attractive don’t be unattractive- but yes I get your point as there wasn’t a whinge about it the next night. And the last part- yea I’m retarded. What I mean is with their wives.

Yeah- this month is crazy. Usually it’s more like 50 hours. So it will be more normalised next month. And yes- there is plenty of social opportunities at the office, I just haven’t noted them.

Ok I will do them each training session plus another on a 'day off'. Good call. Aim for >1g/lb bodyweight protein. This is a lot if you aren't used to it, When you read it sounds simple- but after looking into it more it seems like a shitload of food to consume. I was planning on getting beef mince and cracking eggs onto it with some spice for meals this week. I will add sweet potato and veggies for my go to meals. Will report back next week.

Its your Transverse Abdominals (TVAs), they're weak. Do Weighted Planks and Toes-to-Bar Leg Raises, this should tighten up a bit. Thank you- I will start doing these on the deadlift days as the workouts are shorter so I can add these then.(or should I do more than once a week)? I also think my hip flexors are tight as I have that lower back arch that's a bit more rounded than it should be...I think...So I have been stretching and doing straight leg raisers. We are the same height but you weigh…

A good tease is an obviously false accusation. Yes that make sense- thank you for the link. I believe I'm good at both but take it too far sometimes like a moron. I will read all of that link this week. Your hysterical wife is probably not hysterical about whatever nonsense is coming out of her mouth, but she is hysterical about something, so you may want to figure that out and respond accordingly, even if that response is to just "STFU." But I see this advice used too often as an easy out to no…

I can get passive aggressive in a teenage type way Can be snarky/mock deeper than a typical negging Insecure in a way where I second guess or overthink things. The first two I’m really doing my best to stfu and stamp out. But be more playful as well. The last I plan to not sure how have a stronger frame and not be too worried on what others think when I don’t care about them *also- needy with intimacy and sex. I’ve made improvements here overtly but not internally. Need to kill that validation I…

you treat me like your employees, you’re use to just telling people what to do etc. “Yes. But you’re more like my secretary.” That's a good response. I guess to dig deeper- With my employees (this is obviously over simplifying) I either directly tell them the "solution" or what I want them to do- depending on the circumstance. OR with some of the more experienced ones ask them how they would handle said problem and see if it gels with my expectation or I guess what I would want them to do. Perha…
