Life is short , live it . You are not sitting around so don’t be too hard on yourself.

Shocked, destroyed, shattered. I was suspecting something but then confronted her when it was too much . Her attitude was getting shitty. She wasn’t the person I married and raised babies with. Ends up she had to end the affair because the guy went back to his wife and she has to see him everyday at work now. Karma for her I suppose. She is miserable. I would be a miserable person too if I stayed. I think it was a gift to my life in a way. It still hurts to look back on the good times. But reali…

I am happier. Found myself again. Didn’t have a real good male role model. Lost my masculinity had no idea it happened. Now I’m just learning how to rebuild myself. Enjoying my journey.

Walk around the grocery store and watch the beaten down husbands. That gives me the wake up call that I may have been giving a gift. That was going to be me.

I just kept quiet because it will destroy itself on its own. What possible thing would you gain. Just move on live your life. Make your best self independently of her and her drama.

Did she tell me when she was cheating with a married coworker?

She was a different person. Cute , caring, and funny. Used to ask how my day was. Makes me sad to think about that. She became a different person. She started working with and hanging out with trashy people. And the rest is history. I didn’t marry the person I am divorced from.

Hang in there . It’s just a date . Make it fun and good when it’s your turn to see her . Make your own version. My boys look forward to being with me on off date holiday times.

I feel ya man. I went on one date and it was nice but was kinda meh . I think about the hobby thing too. Like when it’s 20 degrees and constantly dark outside it’s tough to go outside. I do cross fit but everyone is married. Might quit that and just join a gym to lift and focus on me . Plus with kids and events they have ,it’s rough to do anything. All of the divorced women where I live are banged up and chain smokers it seems . Hard pass.

Going through this too I’m new to apps but savvy to cybersecurity. I’m hitting some real people, who ghost and what seems like phishing bots or something. Like pictures are too perfect.

It’s a struggle sometimes. I feel ya man .Getting used to being with myself again takes time. I’m going to a gym and doing team workouts. Getting out and doing something is beneficial. Sometimes I force myself to go get a beer and burger and watch a game. Last time out I met a cute girl. So never would have happened if sitting around.

I certainly don’t put them on a pedestal anymore. Read no Mr nice guy and single on purpose. New perspectives.

I found that the woman I married was not the woman she is now. But in my head I thought she was the same person. It took me months but reality sets in after a while. You will be ok and better friend, take care of your true self and love on those kids.

Go shake his hand and say thanks for ridding you of this burden on you and your kids lives . Imagine days in the future where your kids see you as the mentor, the dad that really cares and is the better person. She will soon be putting this guy thru the same crap. Be thankful you’re on the way to a new life.

I’m struggling a bit now but am looking forward to a motorcycle again in my future life. Plus no asking to pursue things that make me human again.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
