You’re not not wrong. True love does exist and it’s not just about two people being hot for each other’s bodies. It’s about really loving that other person, wanting them to be happy, putting their needs before your own. It’s just that inevitably those feelings fade and the sexual interest fades. When I believed in marriage, I always thought it would be interesting to have relationships have a 10y initial term with five year renewal options.

We’re not lying about it. There is an element of personality, intelligence, personal accomplishment that can make even the most unattractive guy, attractive. The hardest part is that OLD does not communicate that je ne sais quoi. I wish I could decide which guy had this when I’m going through profiles bc that guy is ultimately 10x more attractive than the good looking guy bc he navigates the world on more than just the looks/genetic physical luck.

Doctor here. If I recall correctly up to 1/3 of pregnancies end in miscarriage. They are extremely common.

I agree you need to upgrade your social circle. In my social circle, most of my female friends are the breadwinners.

Except that negativity gets you nothing. 6’6 is the point where height starts being a liability for some (no offense OP) Bc he’s more than a foot taller that the average American female. He also expressed some other playing field levelers— skinny, no so attractive, balding. I think his experience can help, if you are open to the reality everyone has advantages and disadvantages.

This is interesting. I didn’t know that these types of guys were so rare.

I think it makes them more attractive. Evolutionarily speaking, it makes them better providers.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
