Why I like sex/ want sex: I enjoy the movements and feelings, it’s fun, it’s enjoyable, it’s connective, I find people sexually attractive, I want to act out fantasies with them. Sex for me is a fun thing to do and I really enjoy it in a way that is different to masturbation. Why I like/ want relationships: the connectivity with someone I care about, sharing aspects of my life with someone, having someone I know and understand and that knows and understands me (in a different way to friendships)…

That’s a real shame. I’ve had one person that I didn’t contact again for similar reasons- I’m lucky in that the lesbian dating scene is a lot more accepting of staying friends with ex’s.

I always have a no contact break after relationships, normally for the length of the relationship (so 3 year relationship= 3 year no contact) and after that see if we actually get on and would want a friendship. It’s been about 50/50 as to whether we get back in touch and create friendships, but the ones that it has worked out with have been amazing.

I prefer seeing people in person over any app. I don’t want to be shocked the first time I see someone in real like because they’ve only been showing the flattering photos/ they take bad pictures and are actually hot. Or because you can’t feel peoples vibe/ sense of humour/ voice etc online. Also I’m barely good enough at replying to maintain my current relationships, let alone potential ones online!! I’d always rather go meet people in person.

I put ‘any’ for age/ race, minimum height and wages, and it was still 43.5%.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
