If women actually cared about the welfare of men then the scenario might be different, but that isn't an option for men. Women need to start taking personal responsibility for their poor choices.

Fine, then don't complain and come crying to me about how you have to travel to another state to get your abortion. You had the solution in front of you the whole time. You only have yourself to blame for your problems. Learn to take some personal responsibility like the rest of us.

I see no reason to make abortion a priority. Women don't give a shit about my wellbeing, and it doesn't affect me personally, so I have more important things to care about. In the abstract, sure, I'm pro-choice, but pretty much every woman who wants an abortion - normal life scenarios - already has it easy. If not having a kid was such a big issue to her then she shouldn't have had sex. There are lots of people who don't have that choice.

If that's the way you feel, sure, but all I'm saying is I'm not making abortion access a priority.

That isn't the logic you get wrong.

We're talking normal scenarios here. its more important to prevent unwanted births than to enable everyone having sex. Then the solution is easy: no one have sex. There will be no unwanted births. Access to abortion is irrelevant, problem solved. If you're already having sex you're doing great. You don't need help, other than maybe learning to take responsibility for your actions.

Huh?

Because it is completely irrelevant to the topic of discussion.

... Yes, I applied the logic of your argument and showed how your argument is stupid, since it is obviously offensive if we treated rape victims that way.

Let me be clear: the rest of this comment is not “woe-is-me”, black pill, or incel content. I'm pro choice, but it's hard to care very much about how some women have to travel to a different state to get an abortion when you can't even get laid. Like, let's start with getting everyone laid, and then once we've solved that problem, then we can start working on access to abortion. Focusing on abortion access first is like a super rich person complaining about something trivial while people are lit…

As a general rule, if it is wrong when you apply the same logic to rape, then you're logic is probably wrong.

Ah, so not relevant to the topic of the thread, I got it.

When did anyone say stop complaining?! If that's not what you were implying then I'm not sure how your comments were relevant. Maybe the reason dudes don’t have friends around is cause everyone got tired of them complaining all the time? Can you see how you're victim blaming? You're being very offensive.

I did. I don't see how you got to your conclusion. Explain?

mods, she's harassing me again. please do something about this.

Sorry, I don't see how you got there.

... and you told her friends are important though? As in, stop complaining, you can just have friends? Hard to believe. Try it again and let us know how it goes.

mods, she's at it again. I vote for 30 day ban. that might teach her a lesson.

Wow, that's incredibly offensive. You might as well say that some people aren't meant to go through life without being sexually assaulted, and that's okay.

Having friends/social circles is important tho. Do you know anyone who's romantic partner has died? Try telling them that, and let us know how they react.

Don't call me an incel. That's a personal attack/not being civil. You're violating the rules around here. That said, hah, I'm not derailing anything: you replied to comment. You could have just moved on.

Are you assuming artificial insemination? I'm not seeing how you think women otherwise get pregnant.

Ok, then empathy might not be the best word, but you know what I mean. You don't care about me getting laid? Fair enough, I won't make access to abortion a high priority then. Don't come crying to me about how unfair it is that people won't do what you want them to do. As far as I'm concerned you already have it great regardless of access to abortion. Your problems just aren't worth caring about.

Under normal conditions, if you're having so much unprotected sex that abortion is a serious concern then you're already way better off than the person who isn't getting laid AT ALL. You're good, you don't need help. It's the person who isn't getting laid that needs help. I'm not complaining, but you're not doing a very good job of encouraging me to care about access to abortion when you care so little about my welfare. Maybe try being better. Good luck!

I'm pro choice, but it's hard to care very much about how some women have to travel to a different state to get an abortion when you can't even get laid. Like, women should learn to appreciate the things they have and they should stop acting so entitled (it's pretty unattractive, honestly). Women should learn to be happy without being able to have an abortion. How's about women figure out how to get all the straight men laid who want to have sex and then I'll start caring more about abortion rig…

Men need to also stop paying for dates like women expect them to do. It's 2023, women have jobs and can afford to pay for their own food. I agree with that in the abstract but it doesn't do much good because following that advice essentially means opting out of all dates, so it is bad advice. OK, sure, let's assume a man follows that advice. He doesn't go on any dates unless, before the date, the woman agrees to pay for herself, no exceptions. Being that strict will leave most men with zero date…

Okay, but then what's your plan to get them sex? Your proposal won't do much good if you leave that part out, and if your solution is "they don't," then you aren't saying anything useful (no matter what else you may say).

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
