Just at an institutional level with the way STEM careers are structured, particularly academic careers. You're right that at the undergraduate, and even postgraduate stage things are pretty good, I'd say close to equal and in some cases like you mention even favoring women. But after this stage, when people are looking for post doctoral positions and fellowships or grant funding I'd say women are at a distinct disadvantage.
