It’s because of men like this, that “toxic” women exist (ie normal women that started justifying being shitty to men after getting played). Don’t be like this. Be honest.

This post clearly uses the term to refer to women who get used for sex.

Not really.

Men switch up after marrying all the time. I can tell you heaps of personal anecdotes where men’s gambling/alcohol/porn addictions/promiscuity only surface after the wedding/child birth. A man of a lady I work with brought her flowers every week before marriage, now after 30 years doesn’t bother to buy her a bday card.

Maybe she was simply lacking in manners. Or maybe she did not enjoy her time with you, but lacked social finesse in handling it maturely. I’m sorry that happened to you, but that really isn’t an indicator of someone wanting a free meal.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/22 10:07 PM

So did she tell you she used you for a free meal? Or did you assume that was her “intention” merely because you went out, but she did not like you/sleep with you/pursue anything meaningful with you?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/22 09:57 PM

Argument of what? That some women are users? I’m not arguing against that. But you chose to confront my comment responding to another user saying women want a free meal ticket when going on dates. So I assume that is the stance you are taking?

I’m an accountant, so yes I know how statistics work. The other thing I know is that: a. To make broad conclusions about “all women”, based on such a study, the sample needs to be taken of women of different ages, socio-economic backgrounds, and geographic locations. The study does not present a clear picture on this. b. Survey data only reflects attitudes as reported by respondents, and not actually quantifiable frequency of behaviours, so it is not purely scientific data.

Not in this post, they aren’t defined as that. Also men shoot down other men who are perceived as being “too available” to women all the time. It’s not a feminist thing.

23% of 820 sample size is not “a third of all women”. And the question posed to these women was whether they had ever done it, not if they do this regularly. Try better.

So what are you saying? OP said pickmes are women who get manipulated into sex by shit men. You reply with “pickme is one that treats men like human beings”. Are you confused as to the nature of this discourse?

Fuck off. Mackenzie was one of the first employees at amazon. He built the company post-marriage too, and she got considerably less than half of Amazon shares, so yes she played a part in its development. Statistically speaking, the overwhelming majority of millionaires and billionaires are married, and most achieved the bulk of their success during their marriage. If women, as you claim, have so little to do with a man’s success, you would have single men achieving massive financial success lef…

So sleeping with any men who treat them like shit, without discernment, is “treating them like human beings”? The bar really is in hell with you lot. Chad claiming pussy is minimum wage entitlement now. Run for president 👍

Well, what other kind of response do you want, if it’s true? It’s men who scream on the internet about wanting to increase lay count 🤷‍♀️ Men who judge single mothers harshly, women who sleep around, women who loose attraction in marriage (dead bedrooms), women who divorce, women who “string along” nice guys, but go for another man. All of these issues are solved by women choosing men more wisely, ie by being selective. Looks being a factor is nothing new. Obviously women want attractive men, ju…

Women are more likely to get more matches than a guy because women won’t match with every guy that likes us. Men absolutely do. Men openly advocate sleeping with as many women as they can, while women are selective and mostly want to find a partner, and not just a sex toy 🤷‍♀️ we are choosier because we have more to loose from choosing wrong. And the comment you pasted doesn’t say much… yes, women prefer a man with good looks. What’s so surprising about that? Both men and women want an attractiv…

I was the one who brought it up, but you were the one to link the two as a caricature. And no, how can it be “safely assumed” if we don’t know? As with all of these social studies, they are aimed at proving pre-conceived notions. And even if it turned out that this is the true profile of 1/5 of the urban female population, why are you using that in discourse about all women? It’s clearly not all women. Also, you don’t realise how harmful this is to young people who are still wanting to find a pa…

Didn’t say I was poor 😉no need to insult me with stereotypes. But also, guilty until proven otherwise. If you tell me the study was done on American middle-class 34-year-olds with college degrees, I will apologise to you and accept defeat/admit a fifth of the Western female population has exploitative tendencies. But, until then…. No

Just because someone is narcissistic/machiavellian, does not mean they will automatically use someone for a meal. If I’m a freeloader, I am more likely to be narcissistic, but me being narcissistic does not necessarily mean I will be a freeloader, or does not mean my “freeloading” would be expressed in that particular scenario. Income, socio-economic background and geographic location can absolutely determine a person’s behavioural traits. If I am brought up in poverty, I will be more likely to …

The article does not say how much more likely, or what percentage of those women expressed finding this “normal”, so no I wouldn’t say it’s reflective of what is the majority or the minority of attitudes. Also again, what is the demographic? If the sample was taken from women from disadvantaged backgrounds, I’d say that’s a very poor source to use when examining/making claims about dating trends of women, say, of middle class in the UK or northern America.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/22 06:06 PM

That article is clearly sensationalist and written to provoke strong reactions. If you read through it carefully, it says the women in the study were asked if they -ever- egaged in “plate for play”. That could mean a woman might have done it once in her life, which is very much not the same as saying “a third of women only date for food”. That’s like saying if majority of men have had a one-night-stand, that means majority of men are into casual hookups/promiscuity. Also 23% of a 820 sample is n…

And you think that’s how the woman is, and not because the man is just as likely to switch up after they got the woman to like them? Or because they act like they don’t care long enough that the woman realizes that there is no point in trying to be good for a man who does not value it/care, so they stop trying? You seem to think that women exist in a vacuum and that our behaviours aren’t shaped by the men in our lives. The only real difference between many of the women in their 30/40’s and how s…

Nah, they really don’t. That’s just an assumption men project onto women, to make themselves feel better about rejection. No woman, unless she’s from a third world country and jobless, needs a free meal. Not sure about the tiktok. Which one is that? And even so, that’s hardly most women… Edit: technically sex is basic human bonding, yes. But the risks of having sex are very unequal between men and women because people get pregnant from sex, plus there’s various forms of STDs, and a certain level…

Don’t think that’s only characteristic of women. Many overweight women report being “invisible” to men until they loose weight/glow up. It’s human nature to go for people we are attracted to. Also not sure how you can know when someone “wants you only for your dick” or “tries to fuck their way into your wallet”. Those are your assumptions about those women, not necessarily reality. I smell projection.

That’s what people do when they interact, or when they are getting to know each other. If you did not get picked after interacting with a woman, it does not mean she somehow “used” you. Is this post trying to mansplain women’s struggles? I think it is. As a woman in her 20ies, I don’t compare myself to the top 10%. I compare myself to the men who are in my socio-economic level and are more-or-less my looksmatch (Not 10’s, as many of you want to believe women do) And yes, most of these guys are not relationship material. Mostly not about their looks or money (though that’s important).. more about their values and how they behave with women. They want a woman, but don’t want to c…

As a woman, the getting ready part is annoying. Don’t particularly enjoy having to spend time/money and effort to get ready for dates.. it is what it is though. But when you’ve done the preparation, and vetted the man well before you go on a date.. it’s amazing. Not gone to an excruciatingly high amount of dates, but they were mostly high quality. I don’t need to read the rest of the thread to understand your line of thought. And lol you left out the obesity category where men score higher. My point exactly - there are more overweight men (34.1 to 27.4 in women) and obese men (43.0 to 41.9 in women). Women outweigh men only at the tail end in the severely obese category. Which means there are objectively more obese men than women. So you’re in your forties, have kids, are spewing ignorant bullshit on the internet AND can’t read statistics?…

Men who say this aren’t being “ignored”. They just can’t get off their pedestal of assuming entitlement to being adored, and instead providing that extra love to the woman. They can’t fathom the fact they are no more the centre of a woman’s universe. They struggle to understand it’s their time to man up. Bloody hell, you are positively ig…

Gaslighting = manipulating someone into doubting their reality. You are trying to make me believe I’m “stupid” (lie) and that other people would agree with you (lie) because I somehow “appear” silly (lie). Nice try though 👍 And no where did I say all men at fault? At fault for what exactly? I pointed out how they should be better partners to their women during child-rearing, instead of moaning. Lol Not sure who you are trying to gaslight here? The more words come out of your mouth, quite frankly the more I feel sorry for your partner(s). Because if you’re clinging so desperately to the idea that more people on the internet agree with your views than mine (not even objectively true), you are probably a pretty manipulative person. Actually I’d go so far as to say we are getting into narcissist territory here.

Oohh because other women agreed with you it -must- be true. It’s not like people ever agree with others just to be polite. Are you trying to convince me that you were being a good partner, or yourself? I’ll leave you to ponder that one. Edit: The fact you hide behind the “misandrist” term to escape from criticism isn’t really working in the direction of you being perceived as an “accountable partner” either.

I am allowed to assume what I want. In my experience the “woe me” men vastly overestimate their contribution. And you were moaning 😂 the act of pointing out that you think someone is deviating from a perceived standard (ie a woman paying more attention to the child that cannot take care of its own needs, instead of minding a grown ass man who CAN), is moaning. 9/10 the women aren’t “ignoring” you, as you put it. Since when is saying your attitude sucks - misandrist? And funny how you say you’re so empathetic, yet your very first comment that triggered this exchange was about how “women are too tired after taking care of children’s needs that they don’t have time for men’s wants”. As if women taking care of everyone is “just how things are” and “her obligation”, but you being a reliable rock who doesn’t moan about having to be reliable & stoic when she is vulnerable is somehow “unreasonable”.

I mean dude, you want to get something that even women rarely get for all their troubles. You want to be patted on the head for the sacrifices women make on the daily. They don’t get the pat on the head, so why do you think you are so special?

It’s not that, it’s the fact I don’t believe you really did what you say you did. Or not to the extent you say you did it. Truly dutiful men don’t complain about having to do what they have to do. They care more about the result of their contributions, not about competing with women for “merit”.

Most women don’t leave their men for someone who makes more money. That’s a very small minority of women who are that unhinged… Unless the man is an outright asshole who gambled away their savings or some shit like that. For the most part, it’s a red pill myth that women leave men for more money. Also you say men are “providers” when in modern reality women provide just as much to the relationship if they work. Red pill rationalizations are beyond this world.. It’s only a subset of women who go for the rich Chad boogeyman. Most women still marry perfectly normal/average-looking guys who provide for them. Red pill encourages the extinction of such women, as it tries to eliminate the traditional venues/tools for good men/good women to bond. Instead it promotes negative attitudes towards women, lack of sexual discipline, manipulation, lack of accountability in marriage… I can go on and on.

Reactionary? 😂Please. Classic trp propagates ways to manipulate women into bed. It’s literally one of the tenet ideas in trp strategy. The problem with that view is that it completely absolves men from the need to analyse their own actions. They don’t think that something they do might be contributing to female behaviours if they have a ready “explanation”. I have seen a man in a relationship with a woman for 5 years, who she was cohabiting with & cooking & cleaning for. Everyone knew she wanted to get married and have children including him. No, the problem with RP is that it shits on women and good men. It’s anti-healthy relationships & anti- traditional community. No matter how much gold dust you sprinkle on a turd, it’s still a turd. You can be equally as self-improvement-minded without enforcing mysogynistic stereotypes. Women are capable of self-improving without hating men, so not sure why some men think they can’t.

Here’s a tip: stop looking up dating advice for men & start looking at dating advice videos aimed at women. When you know what women’s vetting strategies are/what they look for - you’ll know how to act. Edit: And don’t pay for the advice.

A lot of projection there. Just because a lot of men think of everything as “instrumental” (including them faking romance/sentimentalism just to get laid), doesn’t mean sex is experienced like that by women. This toxic view you have is based on the idea that sex is separated from emotion. For a lot of women - it isn’t. Some of the problems you listed that men face are the making of men themselves/result of toxic online indoctrination. Sorry, but the issues you listed for women are laughable. Those are not the pressing issues of most women in the dating world. Try coercive men who manipulate women into sex; not knowing who is actually single on dating apps as there’s so many taken men cheating on OLD; being pressured into sex you hate because men think what happens in porn should happen in real life; relationsh…

Nope. There’s High value, and then there’s “high value” aka Chad. Don’t conflate the 2. They are not the same guy. I’m sure many men have a vested interest in enforcing this belief that all 10’s are promiscuous, so that women don’t go for who they like & instead settle for the less-attractive red piller. But you can’t beat reality.

A bit concerning that in both the “bro” and the “girlfriends” scenarios you just defaulted to assuming the fault is the woman’s. I don’t understand which part of her husband leaving her was a result of -her- decision-making? If you mean that it was her decision that she gained weight - well it clearly isn’t for most. People can gain weight for various reasons - pregnancy & child-minding, stress, depression, lack of time and simply different priorities. Maybe the man himself was not doing well wi…

Why is that wrong? That’s what makes us people - our attributes. How does someone valuing our attributes make the admirer unattractive? Even speaking in purely physical terms - our body and what it can do will be valued by someone somewhere. Doesn’t matter if someone values our kindness over our conversational skills or ability to provide. All of those things define who we are.

We interact, spend time doing stuff together/or going on dates, his personality comes out (I personally love the intellectuals/witty conversation). If I feel his strong want to be with me/see me/talk to me/make me feel good & gradually escalate things - this is my turn on. His excitement literally turns me on. There’s nothing hotter than a guy who has decided he wants to be a part of your life. When I feel a guy’s focus on me, I’ll start flirting more, and sending more signals, creating more opp…

Not sure what the downvote was for, as you’ve proven my point. Women will not stick around (the discussion of original commenter) just because a man is good-looking/has his shit together. And as you’ve pointed out - rightfully so. Women invest way too much into proving themselves “dateable/relationship-material” as it is.

This comment sums it up. Important to note that different women will have different parameters to what triggers their attraction (it’s not always looks) and how long it will take before she feels safe/comfortable enough to engage in sex. For some it’s a no-boundaries thing where they are willing on the first date, others will need some level of courtship or commitment.

My advice: re-habilitate yourself from red pill & start dating the way your dad/grandad did. Can’t tell you how many great-looking, well-off guys I dated and it never went anywhere. Because while the initial attraction was there, it fizzled out pretty quickly as they were passive/never escalated investment/never made me feel their interest because they were “playing it cool” until the initial attraction faded and I realise dating them is not enjoyable because no value is being added to my life, …

Has it ever entered your mind that a woman simply might not feel comfortable having sex with a perceived stranger early on? That level of comfort for some people needs to develop through time/experience together? Sex does not necessarily equate to romance for everyone. “Romance” to me is courtship, spending time together, developing feelings. And I personally feel like a lot of women, like me, still need a lot more than just physical attraction to want to let someone into their body. I’m sure I …

Sort of, except red pill ideologies were developed almost 2 decades ago, and since then both male sexlessness and singleness rates have been sky-rocketing.. Because that’s what happens when you tell men that they are inadequate because a minority of women does not want them, and that the minority is now the majority (ie hypergamous sluts). Stable relationships were possible back then, as they still are now. But increasingly less so as single men simply do not know how to bond with women anymore.…

And what makes you think it is a “woman” problem and not men’s? If the majority of single men do not appear marriageable, nor are they particularly keen on marrying women if one does like them, then how is that on women? And the Chads we encounter can be any man out there. The manosphere has done a great deal in glamourising man-hoeing and poor treatment of women🤷‍♀️You’ve very much done it to yourselves. A lot of rubbish, “sweety”. You are taking a subset of young (probably American college) women and trying to describe the whole female population with the most unhinged part of it. Clearly a red pill reader. Women, on the whole still get into relationships and marry absolutely average guys. That’s exactly what should happen, if men want to eradicate alimony 🤷‍♀️Women aren’t going to act like their mothers/grandmothers did if their contributions are not treated fairly. And so what if a woman marries a man with more resources? Prenups exist and are in wide use. All I am saying is that if a woman wants to stay on a level playing field with a man, she would be wise to not invest in him. That way neither gets “more” than the other.

/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/22 12:54 PM

Fuck no. If anything, I have had ample confirmation to my belief that a lot of people on Reddit are out of touch with reality, and give very bad relationship advice (that keeps the same users in a loop, coming back for more). There are bright glimmers of reason and unapologetic common sense here and there, but the bulk is virtue signalling for likes.

That’s why women should be encouraged to be independent, have their own resources and never build a man up at their own expense. Never contribute to the success of a man or make large sacrifices for a partner who might erase your contributions out of the equation when paths part. Not moving for a man, fore-going job/networking opportunities - each partner should be looking out largely for themselves so that no one is regarded as “stealing” from the other down the line.

Whether or not women watch porn doesn’t matter. It’s the male expectation of women performing in bed like a pornstar after an 8-hour work day that is putting pressure on women. Nothing to do with sexual liberation. And I am sure it’s a combination of many reasons, but porn is definitely amongst the top ones. Also, while I am sure some men don’t like overweight women - most still want a well-groomed woman. You did not address that. As for women working, 2 things: a. Women in the past were heavily…

First of all, these cheating “statistics” I often hear quoted on this sub are mostly poll data which is not the most reliable data we have, nor is it purely scientific. I’m sorry, but this post is positively childish. What you don’t account for is: a. The expectations of many men for women to be groomed/shaved from eyebrows to toes for sex - they have to feel attracted to her. These rituals also take time and effort to maintain b. The expectation of women to be enthusiastic and feel sexy and “in the mood”, regardless of all her other responsibilities she had to face that day c. I understand your point, but I think the aversion of women to admit that men can be abused is due to the fact that the actual magnitude of these instances is far lesser.. So placing them on the same level feels deeply insulting for women. It’s not that such arrangements don’t exist, it’s that they are unattractive/unfair to women. Once again, why would a woman want to be a man? What is the point of a relationship that, instead of developing you as a woman, penalises both your health and your attraction to your partner? Why get into a relationship at all if I can be my own provider and -not- have to be beautiful for someone else? If would be more cost-affective to stay single. Well if men don’t want to be providers, they can also choose the route of singlehood… Same as women who are unkept and unpleasant. It’s a double-edge sword. You can’t have a couple where a woman earns more than a man (is a provider) AND bears the higher cost of being a woman in terms of beauty/health etc. This type of arrangement happens nowadays and inevitably the woman becomes resentful because not only is she investing more overall, she is also going against her own nature: on a very primal l…

I strongly disagree with men’s expectations for women remaining the same. Just as an example with porn now being a mainstream thing, “vanilla sex” (considered very much as the standard for most of human history) is now considered mostly boring. Well purely based on poll results it would seem women are going for older men. Because if male singlehood peaks in their youth, and female peaks in older age, probably means women are outliving their older partners. That’s what I would assume from these statistics. It’s not that women don’t want to settle down with decent men in their twenties (I certainly do), it’s just that truly decent and marriageable men are not advertised to us as such. The eligible bachelors who only date younger are rarely high value people, so it’s actually a positive thing that they are avoided. Perhaps the having less options is true to some extent, but the options you do have are of much higher quality. The closer I approach my thirties, generally the better men I attract. Women cheat way less, hence why you see them cheat way less. Nothing to do with being secretive - there is only so much you can hide. Just the other day there was a thread about what age range men consider when dating and very few men kept to below 20 (both themselves in their twenties and over). But also, even if a woman does over-estimate her attractiveness - why does this bother men so much? Why does a woman’s perception of herself get some men so riled up, if they’re not interested in her?

Thank you! People who are trying to have these “Gotcha” moments are fooling themselves if they think this shit still works. Stop trying to scare-monger young women into settling for men they aren’t attracted to/not ready for, maturity-wise. People see through this nonsense.. it’s nothing new.

As the other commenter said, the woman he married was a high n-count too. High n-count people usually stick together. And low n-count women are often disgusted by high-n count men, and go for men who don’t sleep around. Nothing wrong or unnatural there. Edit:usually/often

The fact you want to hoe around, and the fact you want to get something of high quality while putting in minimal effort. From what I’ve gathered in other comments, you are also trying to shoot above your league. Again, leave them for the men they deserve, who also deserve them.

No, they’re not. They can act as prostitutes, but that does not mean they are the same. Prostitute = sells sex for money. Escort = sells company for money, which might or might not include sex. One is a brothel/street-dweller who often does not to even talk to her client, the other is more high-end and accompanies clients to various events. Not a very good prostitute if you cannot even get the definitions right.

I didn’t say men are loved just for existing, they absolutely are appreciated more for what they do than for who they are. I am arguing the claim that “men have it harder, women are loved just for existing”, because it’s hysterically untrue and plain insulting to the female population. And once again, stop putting words in my mouth. Where did I say my man didn’t put effort into his appearance? We are talking about prostitutes, not escorts. Those are not interchangeable terms. And even if there is a sub-category of prostitutes who “do it to launch a startup”, I highly doubt that is reflective of the majority of prostitutes.

It does not apply to men to the same extent. And no, argue with me however much you like but women do more for/invest more on their appearance. Exponentially more. I was in a relationship with an attractive guy, and no way in hell did he spend anywhere near the same time/effort/money on his appearance, as I did. And it’s not good or bad, it’s the way it is. Well then you have very little understanding of how complex grooming routines are for women. Putting on makeup/a dress takes up about an hour of our time (several hours for some), but that’s on top of the endless shaving/plucking/skincare/blowdrying and straightening hair, nails etc. and that’s not even high end, that’s just your average Jane. Parenting can only go so far in a culture that is deeply perverse. And men being mostly undesirable is a man problem, it’s not an issue that women should be placating. If you’re ugly, develop what you can develop - like a great personality. Some women still go for ugly, but the type of women that do are not good enough for these men. High-end escorts and your average prostitute are not quite the same? Prostitution is a social issue, not a personal one. If you weren’t as selfish as you are, you would understand that women do not exist for the sole convenience/pleasure of men. Also, I am not concerned with your personal affairs and whether you can date or not. Your reasons for singlehood aren’t the flex -you- think it is. As a woman who has strived towards the ideals you have described all my life (I am Eastern European), I can tell you right now that all of these skills are wasted on many Western men. Very unequal comparison. Being a sewage crewman does not mess with your ability to pair-bond through sex in relationships (much like prostitutes), and as low-class as these workers are - they do not face the same social/communal stigma, or difficulties finding a partner that does not reprehend their career choice (hence why many prostitutes often hide they were prostitutes from their SO). How is paying for prostitution = paying for a girlfriend? Unless all you view a female partner as is a set of orefices. But if that’s the case, you are absolutely right about not dating - no woman wants to date a man who views them in that light.

Not really. Women who you date have a say when, how and whether at all they want to sleep with you. Women in prostitution don’t. They can think you’re a disgusting piece of shit and still have to suck your dick. But also, that’s a nasty attitude to have towards dating. No wonder so many men on Reddit so single.

I understand what you’re saying, but again: Dating: either sex or relationship Sex work: just sex So you can’t say something is “better than” the other if they have unequal outcomes. Wouldn’t go bashing traditional dating if you can’t get a girlfriend going the alternative route with sex work.

Sorry, but that’s a very narrow view of prostitution. And it comes more from the consideration of your own benefits - vs what prostitution actually entails for women, relationships and society as a whole. Most prostitutes are not doing prostitution because they enjoy it, they do it out of necessity. And if given the right opportunities in life, most prostitutes would not exist apart the portion of young women that is nowadays heavily brainwashed by pro-SW propaganda into even considering joining…

Speaking strictly of relationship-oriented dating (although I would argue that this barely exists anymore as a defined category of people, when everyone is chronically “undecided” nowadays) If you are placing value only on how women “interact” with men during the dating phase, then I understand what you are saying - yes, women will assume a more passive role. But you need to realise that women’s efforts and investments happen outside of dating (ie she comes into dating already having made her in…

So why aren’t single UK men flocking to Columbia? You forget the logistics of such a deal. It’s not just having enough money to pay for a date/your sugar baby’s time, it’s being able to maintain this type of relationship. /r/PurplePillDebate04/04/22 05:28 AM

I’m guessing you mean prostitution? Well first of all, no relationship will ever come from prostitution. Second, with dating you risk either getting into an opportunistic relationship which fails or getting into a loving relationship which lasts. With prostitution however it’s 100% opportunistic because the woman you’re with likely would not have had sex with you if it weren’t for the money.

Well PPD has a considerable red-piller base, and those ideologies are more about power-play and learning to “game” rather than building relationships.. What I find funny is how these approaches aim to get women in a superficial, unnatural way that is likely to end in no relationship, then re-affirming these men’s ideas about women and the need to game even more to compensate for lack of connection… But I guess it’s just how it is. Women will never out-save men simply because unfortunately it’s way more expensive to be a woman. As someone in this thread already pointed out, why is it that you want to be the best? What’s the point? People who even think in terms of “best” or “not the best” have self-esteem issues. Don’t bring inferiority complexes into the relationship. If your partner is with you - they already love you here and now. No need to dig for comparisons.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 08:26 PM
2

You’ll never know the truthful answer 🤷‍♀️ The stigma surrounding high-n-count women is still strong. And the question itself implies that is something that you find in high regard/ something you will judge the person for. And no one wants to feel judged. Speaking as a woman with a relatively-low n-count, I would ditch a person if they asked me.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 07:02 PM

Why not? I don’t have an issue getting dates, but coming on here is top entertainment value. You can get very interesting inputs 🤷‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 06:46 PM

Why does it matter? You will never know the N-count of someone unless you were a fly on their wall. So why do you get hung up about it? The problem is not the high n-count. The problem is the culture of promiscuity that makes everyone feel like they have no knowledge/control over the other person’s personal life.

My comment was in response to your “you’re assuming” which you’ve edited into “it’s not that simple”. While my experience isn’t universal, it’s hardly a stretch to say that men who put themselves into social situations will have better luck with meeting women (the point of OP’s post), and that sociability is only a skill that makes the interactions possible in the first place (whether you’re in a highly-social situation or not). True that there might be other reasons someone might not get women,…

Not really, I’ve been that person. You can be relatively introverted and still know how to interact in social situations, and form new relationships. If that were true most ugly-looking women would be wifed up in a whiff. Also men would not be crying on the internet about “SMV” and grading women on a scale of 1 to 10 based on looks. And I don’t know where you live for women to be “just as ugly as men”. At the very Least, most women I see on the street have their armpits shaved and eyebrows plucked. As a fairly tall woman, it’s definitely more than just attraction. While I will not pretend like most women don’t prefer taller guys (blame the media for propagating the taller guy with shorter woman combo), shorter guys often kill the attraction a woman has for them with their insecurities. So based on this, would you then conclude that courtship is an expression of entitlement rather than a desire to sell yourself as a viable partner to a woman? Would it not make even less sense for men to court women in the past, if they were so sure of their advantage/ her having little options beyond his attention?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 03:49 PM

From what I see out in the wild (as a woman in her twenties that has dated) - this only applies to a certain part of the female population. The notion that “AWALT” in regards to Chad/betas - is largely a myth. Although this does happen with the highly-promiscuous women (“thots”), most of your everyday regular women will reject a particular man because he needs to be a better man to be on her level, not because there’s a mythical Chad in the background.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 03:41 PM

Ridiculous for you to imply that you represent “all women”. I’m a woman and I am absolutely against promiscuity and casual sex. Never felt desire to sleep with a man before a reasonable amount of familiarity/commitment. And never had to enter “miserable relationships”, if you don’t like someone - you don’t date them, end of. So no, not “incel fantasies”, stop projecting your own values onto other women. The propagation of this sex-pozzy bullshit needs to stop.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 03:33 PM

Sort of agree with your position, but the real question is - how do you eliminate the Chads of this world? I am excited for the day someone figures that one out.

Interesting argument. However courting women before sex was a standard in the olden times, and yet it did not lead to “many failed relationships” in the past. How is that? Edit:spelling

I support the initiative to stop casual sex (actually any sex outside of commitment, if it were my decision) The only thing I disagree with the notion that women don’t want to have sex early on, only because we are afraid to get pumped and dumped. While that’s certainly unpleasant (yet easily recoverable from if there wasn’t much rapport/connection in the first place), it’s more because our attraction to men is often different. Most women I know (there are exceptions) don’t want to have sex with…

It means men don’t know how to “date” anymore. They either rush women into sex super early on, or passively “ride the wave” by making her do all the work in escalating, until she’s fed up and ditches him. There’s hardly any in-between where there’s a “give-and-take”. A lot of men just suck at dating.. 🤷‍♀️the ones that are enjoyable to date are very few and far in between. Those get snatched up like candy. Edit:spelling

How does a woman determine if a dude is good? Again, that is individual to most women. The only common components are that he cares about his appearance, invests into developing himself as a man, and is invested into her (signalling that he would be a good partner/husband). And even there - a lot of individual preferences that are specific to each and every woman. Stop projecting your own values onto women. Hierarchies are mostly a male construct. Again, most women couldn’t give a shit about hie…

Oh bloody hell.. another Redpiller lol I keep having a lot of discussions with you lot lately. Women don’t follow male hierarchies. Those are created by you and for you. Women are, for the most part, selfish. Because that’s what we have to be in order to have children. Women seek the partner who is most compatible to HER. Teenagers is a bad category to take as an example because they are a. Sheltered, b. Most of their reality is seen through the Hollywood lense because they haven’t experienced e…

These are all your personal musings, not reality… -Some- women are promiscuous because they can be, not because that is part of their mating strategy. Same as -some- guys will lead with thoughtful conversation, but for a lot of them it’s only because they can’t otherwise get into a girl’s pants. Not saying there aren’t guys who want familiarity/emotional connection first, but a lot of them would happily skip this step and fast-forward to the “good stuff” (aka physical/sexual chemistry)

A lot of what you are saying is well-reasoned, however your argument has several holes (in my opinion, erroneous suppositions): that all women seek the “top man” and not the man who is most compatible/likeable to/invested in her. Most women do not want the top man, and they don’t end up in a relationship/marrying the top man. That’s just a teenage fantasy. that women with higher education are the majority of the single female population (I can’t find the stats, so can’t truly confirm or deny thi…

A lot of what you’re saying is true. The economic situation is really dire for most men and women. But I wouldn’t use that to justify Red pill propaganda. Having a great amount of money and superior looks, despite your seething hate for women, might get you the portion of the female population that fits into the hypergamy model. They don’t care. A “sentiment” is not an overly reliable factor to base your opinions on.. And as a woman, who knows and speaks to other women, I can tell you that it’s simply not true. There is an abundance of women who get baited by sob stories, all the time. Women have a great deal of empathy and unfortunately it gets abused by (the wrong) men. Like “Paul the Wine Guy” in the series “Friends” (season 1 ep 1), if you prefer a reference in pop culture.

I also believe that absolute, unconditional love doesn’t exist. But I wouldn’t equate attraction/lust with love. The former is chemical, but the latter is built through emotional bonding and through life events experienced together. My debate is that Red pill is nonsense. It’s not scientific, as it’s not based on sociological/anthropological research of intra-personal dynamics. Not sure what you’re trying to prove. You cannot use a 1-10 system of grading women by looks, assign “SMV” value to yourself and argue online that it’s an objective measure, then pretend like women are not supposed to assign value to/measure looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/22 10:02 AM

I am equally as uninterested in your attempts at justifying red pill. Yet you felt the need to respond to my comment. And where’s the proof? Umm.. their content? 😂 No where does it say “a minor part of the female population” that their tenets apply to, it says “females” or “women”. Edit:spelling

As replied to another commenter, I wasn’t defining hypergamy. I was pointing our where it could match reality. I know what hypergamy is - women supposedly trading up (in looks/wealth/status). And while real everyday women do prefer physically attractive men, only a minority chases wealthy men. Most date and marry people in their close social circles.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/22 08:53 AM

Clearly you misunderstood what I was saying. I wasn’t trying to define hypergamy, I was pointing out where the concept of “hypergamy” as defined by trp, could be close to reality. And that’s only in the notion that most women prefer good-looking men. Hypergamy is supposedly the female tendency to trade-up in relationships (whether in terms of looks or status or wealth). And while there are definitely women who shoot for the stars, that is not reflective of the majority of the female population. …

Redpill was developed by bitter divorced men, and it breeds woman-haters, based on stereotypes that only apply to a certain part of the female population. It’s not taught in universities only because, as I said in another comment, it thrives in relative secrecy. As soon as enough women discover it (what is now happening) - a lot of relationship problems will start arising. As a woman - no, not for the most part. I can see where the people saying that are coming from because nowadays you can barely go anywhere without makeup without attracting weird looks, so “fitting in” definitely feels like self-acceptance (hence the “feel good” part). But for the most part the standards are still mostly male-driven and enforced by the tendency of men to go for women they find pretty. Just how it is I guess.

Hmm.. perhaps you’re right, not unanimously. But a lot of women would agree with me. I feel like nowadays men try to use it as an excuse to keep their partners unhappy. Afterall, doesn’t take that much effort to bring your girlfriend some flowers/have a candlelight dinner together.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/22 03:01 PM

You wanna bet you’re wrong? 😂 According to many men on reddit, they would not feel physical attraction to us (aka no “sex drive”)
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/22 02:57 PM

Well regardless, I think most reasonable people will understand that a guy who barely knows you, won’t be basking you in gold on day 1. That’s kind of a given. Further on in the relationship - it’s a vetting strategy for women. Whether some men like it or not. And I’m not saying it’s ok to demand anything, but if connection is established, and yet romantic investment isn’t there - I see no harm in moving on to someone who does show it.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/22 02:53 PM

It doesn’t -have- to be, just how it be. I’m not pissed about your standards, just some men I’ve seen use it as an excuse to treat their women poorly. I know women who have been with their spouses for 30 years, who haven’t had so much as a birthday card from them in the past 2 decades.. I don’t want a man to walk all over, but I’ll definitely pass on a low-balling douche who sees love as purely transactional 🤷‍♀️ No woman wants to be taken for granted.

I’d argue that most of those talking points are raised because they echo the experience of most women, not feminists. Feminism only puts those experiences into words. When I was in my early twenties starting in the job market, I was heavily sold on the idea that feminism is evil (courtesy of online content similar to TRP). I went into my first career thinking men are fair and noble creatures, that I will be treated just like any other employee. After 5 years of employment in a largely male-domin…

Not sure where you are or what you do, but I literally don’t know a single woman who is a feminist. Not one. And I’m in my late twenties and come from a predominantly female family line (we hardly have any boys). I’ve got friends and co-workers, and plenty of acquaintances. But not one feminist (I’m in the UK btw). Don’t know about the talking points - which ones do you mean?

Perhaps, I’m just speculating at this point. I’ll never truly know what men feel because I’m not a man. And I get that, but I also feel like many men aren’t really trying to put themselves out there to be part of the communal. I was looking at some videos of a volunteering group who were arranging support packages to Ukraine - and the volunteers were mostly women. It’s a shame because the ones that do participate are usually perceived to be super high-value by the local women (even if some men o…

I find men are frozen up. They are paralyzed by the fact that their dads and grand-dads looked down on women (not always in an evil way - just a patronising “oh you little cute dummy” way), but now they themselves are held to a different standard in society. If probably feels unfair and many men probably get self-esteem issues because “why am I not good enough to be able to do that too? But Women study just as hard as men (I know because I am a part-time student myself) and to be honest I don’t really believe that women have a system completely tailored to them, that is somehow very different to what it was like before? I don’t support calling men garbage, unless they are bottom-of-the-barrel abusive, lying shits. But I’ll call a woman who does that trash, too. And I’m glad that men are becoming better (when it’s on their own account, and not by trashing women as TRP does). We need strong, well-educated, responsible and loving men. They are the backbone of society and the pioneers of the future. We’re attracted to them, we want to be close to them and honour them.

No, you’re clearly the one who’s not bright if you don’t understand the connection between: There being systems in place to promote women’s education/success and these systems having to disappear in order for men to “get back to how it was before”. If women have nothing to do with this, then what is your point? Who is it that is failing men?

They don’t do what their grandpas did because consequences on them are enforced in a way that their grandpas never saw or got to experience. Their grandpas didn’t have educated wives who know their rights and who could divorce them and live independently. Their grandpas could say nasty shit to women and beat them if they so wished, and still get sex and get fed and catered to at the end of the day, because their wives couldn’t leave. For women it was either cope or be a beggar on the streets.

Go right ahead 😂 You know what you’ll find? Nothing. Embarassingly for you. Because I don’t encourage women to lie about their n-counts. I don’t support promiscuous people. Men and women alike. First of all, if you’re steeping to cheap insults, your opinion is void by definition. I am absolutely sure that life can be bad for men. I have men in my family who I love and wouldn’t want anything happening to them. But how are you correlating to men dying at the workplace to women? How is that women’s fault? Aaahh, here we go again.. Men’s needs have been catered to for quite literally millenia. Now that solutions being targeted specifically at how the woman’s brain works, are finally starting to emerge, you men loose your shit. When women entered the work force they had to adapt to work that was largely unaccommodating to them, and they adapted. Perhaps time for men to learn to adapt to the systems in place?

I think this is an excellent post - I’ve been having similar thoughts. Certain parts of it make me uncomfortable - but I understand them. Absolutely spot on about men’s need to unconsciously create insecurity in women, to feel needed. I would also add that, to the majority of men, women have created a sort of insecurity around sex and the chastity of wom…

I understand what you’re saying and those aren’t unreasonable, but you didn’t really answer my question. You didn’t get my point. A man who wants a low-n-count woman cannot complain when she doesn’t sleep with him on the first date, and holds out until she’s ready/until there’s commitment on his part. Because that’s what low n-count women do. And he shouldn’t be trying to manipulate/push these women’s boundaries. N count and someone’s height are two very different things. N count is something that you do, height is something that you are. But also n-count is a difficult standard to filter by, because while you can filter out people you engage with by height (ie not approach short people), you cannot do this for n-count. Nah, it’s not objective mate. It’s just superficial. I’m going to assume you are in your teens/early twenties if you put such an onus on looks as the determining factor for attraction. If you look around you, women are more likely to date a man slightly below their level in looks. If you obsess about the exterior, you won’t develop other areas of your life that pull people to you. Very limiting and you’ll regret it later in life once you start wanting a relationship.

And what if there’s more attractive women then men? Do some of them then get paired up with less attractive men? True, no argument there. But you have to remember that there is both an evolutionary and biological reason for these dynamics. Emotionality in men is not rewarded by other men because it’s unconsciously perceived as unreliable (emotions were not beneficial at critical times). It’s not emotions themselves that women are repulsed by, it’s the bottled up negativity. Women on the whole express their feelings more frequently, with more ease and finesse as we consume, on the whole, more media centered around people and social dynamics. So when we are expressing emotions, they are lighter on others. Men have a tendency to brew their stuff. Your protein powder costs about the same as my set of shampoo/conditioners. If we’re really being luxurious - it might match the cost of a good facial. Still only a fraction of the sum of expenses women face monthly. And once again, I will reiterate - the overwhelming majority of men don’t workout the way you workout. But a large fraction of women shave, blowdry, pluck and apply minimal makeup. Older men hardly care about any grooming outside of basic hygiene. But old women still put makeup on a…

Umm, no. I’ve seen t-shirts made out of exactly the same material costing one price for men, and almost double for women. I don’t go to the gym, I have my own equipment. But I bet if you quit the gym today and went a month without it, you wouldn’t look much worse than you look now. If your average young woman quit her routines and makeup for a month, she’d look very different.

I understand, it’s painful and unpleasant for men. And yes agreed, super shitty when they cannot do anything about it. I hope for a day where we can get beyond today’s imposed standards.

Working out and eating well is an effort. The process is tedious, but the result of doing it is pleasing. If men invested as much into their looks as women, you would see a much larger section at your local store dedicated to men’s toiletries/cosmetics. And the price of a women’s shavers would match that of men’s 🤷‍♀️ The majority of women apply more effort to their looks, on the large, than the majority of men. We can argue all day and night, but it won’t change the fact.

You surround yourselves with thots, rack up their body counts by dipping into the same pool of easy lays, then go on the internet to rave about how pathetic and slutty (all) women are. And how much you hate the very same people you sleep with. Not sure what you’re trying to prove.

No need for commercials, this happens IRL all the time. I’m not trying to argue that men don’t get bullied. They absolutely do. But that doesn’t erase the fact that women are still expected to be attractive. More attractive than the majority of women expect men to be. Period.

Look, let’s do an experiment… Let’s take a fat, bald guy (add small dick but he’ll be dressed so no one will see) and a girl wearing shorts/tanktop with unshaved legs and armpits. And let’s take them to a public place. Who do you think will get more dirty looks and insults?

No, they’re not self-imposed. Women grow up seeing images of groomed women. They’re bullied when they don’t conform in school, and get ignored by the opposite sex. And nowhere did I say that I resent my exercise routine or making an effort to maintain my looks… You completely missed my point. I am eternally grateful to be a woman. I make an effort because I love being pretty (as vain as that sounds). Not everyone will understand, and not everyone needs to. My problem is with men who think women …

Because women have been shamed about their looks since.. ever. Men are shamed too, to some degree, but nowhere to the extent of public outrage when a woman is seen outside with hairy armpits. And yes, they are. Maybe not out in the open. But through the treatment they get from the opposite sex. Chubbier women often report feeling invisible until they loose weight.

They aren’t demanding, but they sure flock to the ones who do use cosmetics. What men consider as “low maintenance” is not really low maintenance. I’m not a Jessica Alba either, but just looking decent in today’s world for women is an effort. And again, I’m sure guys do all of those things but it’s nowhere at the level of what women do. I’ll add that men don’t have a wardrobe as varied as women to maintain, don’t have the same amount of accessories and shoes. So nowhere close to equal maintenanc…

Would take me 2-3 hours for a date. And before that was juggled with exercise and a lot of cooking my own meals. Combine that with shopping, matching clothes, stitching/lint-shaving/ironing/polishing boots etc. I guess mine is a high standard, but then again I don’t have kids or a massive household-maintenance list, so perhaps other women can’t spend that much time on themselves.

Lol agreed. And nothing wrong with being a little vain. I’m just trying that someone’s looks is a measure of value, whether people like it or not. Because for the most part (if you take out the genetic component) it reflects effort. I think it’s stupid when people say “a girl doesn’t have to do anything, just exist and the guy makes all the effort”. Just not true. All of her effort is made in the background. People just see the end result.

I agree with everything you’re saying, but that really wasn’t the point of my post. It doesn’t matter what Jason Momoa does, because your average everyday woman doesn’t seek out guys who look like him in real life. But women are expected to look like Emma Stone. Unfair to the man who invests a lot into a marriage, but has an immoral wife who cheats on him, disrespects him and squanders what he’s built in divorce. But fair to a woman who sacrifices her education, financial capability and youth, takes on a bear’s share of work and household chores, but her husband becomes lazy and entitled after a couple years of marriage, cheats on and devalues her. It’s just a point of perspective.

Again, not arguing that hollywood men have a big beauty routine. But: a. Okay, so say you have punished him. What then? If you are not allowing divorce, then the only option is for the wife to return to the abuser and pretend like nothing happened? And live in fear or retaliation. Because abusers don’t like to be called out, last time I checked.

Some people only reveal their true colours after the wedding, unfortunately.. Something tells me if we had marriages like that, most men would suddenly want to find a wife, but it doesn’t sound very incentivising for women. I suspect women would need to be artificially forced to engage in such a deal… The Government would need to create schemes like the post-WW2 one in Britain where women had no social security if they didn’t marry. And women would plot to legalise divorce again.

Men do, for the most part, have a say in it. Some just choose not to, because they’re deadbeats 🤷‍♀️ Not arguing there are good dads out there who were fucked over by a spiteful ex-wife. But there’s equally as many men who don’t fight for dual-custody, don’t pay child support, and only start expressing care about their children after the divorce in order to get leverage in the court/societal support..

I’m not arguing that women might have standards for men. My post was aimed at the claim that men in superhero movies communicate some kind of a message about having to bend over backwards for women.. Fair enough, even if we created this utopian, flawless environment for marriage to thrive in, in terms of safety, transparency, justice etc.. What about the actual love and emotional affinity of partners? Because so far you are describing a great need-based system to fulfill the needs of the average hardworking, down-to-Earth, matter-of-factly, dutiful man. But what about the woman? What if she simply does not love the man? To what end do women have to sacrifice their own happiness?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/22 12:03 PM

Not denying that, but women’s looks require a lot more effort, time and constant investment. Plus products and clothes are more expensive for women than men. Also, in everyday life I see a lot more doey women than ripped men… It’s not exactly the same. Even the most average-looking woman plucks/shaves and does some sort of a skin routine. Most average guys don’t.

But we have historically had no-divorce marriages. And it clearly didn’t make people happy, otherwise divorce wouldn’t have become a thing. Agreed on the empathy. Would slightly disagree about sub-human, I don’t believe most men consciously see women as “lesser”, but more as “other”, as something “foreign”. Which often breeds dismissiveness when they cannot understand the female experience.

Yet you don’t mention how these usually have ultra-attractive women. To be as attractive as an actress, most women nowadays bend over backwards and spend an excruciating amount of time, money and effort (if you’re not born into a rich family) to keep up with the hollywood physical preferences. I commend you for having the right outlook on marriage, and wish more men had this outlook. But reality is that, it is not the overwhelming majority of men. And it’s naive to think otherwise, and harmful to forcibly put women in marriages with these men. I’ve seen husbands be coddled, loved and nearly worshipled by their wives, and they still abused and cheated. Same as women. There are shitty people out there, and you don’t want to be tied to them for life with no escape.

How do you “fuck up” a marriage with a woman who can’t divorce you?.. Some men would care about the feelings of their spouse, but the majority don’t. Especially the men who only want a woman to have a warm body beside them - do you really think that type of man would care if he did something unacceptable to his wife? He would still get sex, he would still get fed, she’s still by his side. You’re assuming most men have the morality you that you have..

Enforcing such a system only benefits the man. The incentive for him to be “likeable” to his wife disappears, because he knows the woman won’t escape. So he can be verbally permissible/cheat/be violent to his wife without any repercussions or incentive to be otherwise.. and the wife will have to cope. Contrary to many men’s belief about themselves, they are not all very positive/enjoyable people to be around. And women, when given the choice (as is happening now), stay single due to the pervasin…

Most young, single women don’t “fuck around heavily”. This red-piller rhethoric stems from the fact that their very attitude towards women is what attracts to them the thots, and repels the relationship-minded women. So all they see is thots - and they assume that’s the sample population. In reality well-put-together women value themselves and avoid situations/people who devalue them. Men are much more likely to settle anyway nowadays - as someone here mentioned having consistent sex is a huge motivator for men to stay in relationships. But the fact that they’ve settled for someone who doesn’t look like their pornstar dream, and then make their life miserable for it - is what’s the problem. If you’re going to settle - don’t half-arse it and actually accept your partner, if you don’t want to settle - then hold out for the pornqueen.

I agree on not putting too much expectations on the first girl you meet and on looking around, but you have to want to invest at some point to create the attraction/bond of dependability that’s necessary for commitment, and yes, that means having an expectation of commitment. By the definition of rape (UK), the subject should not reasonably believe that his sexual partner consents for it to be deemed rape. So if a person knowingly performs acts of questionable nature (especially acts that could potentially harm their partner in a serious way - for example, erotic asphyxiation) without prior securing consent, those acts are unlawful. So while definitely being immoral, it is also rape by legal definition.

False reports are still only a small part of all reports, and it’s harmful to women saying otherwise because if you are trying to convince society that women are more likely to falsify a rape accusation than not, a lot of them will not be believed when they try to report real rape. Or will obstain from reporting a…

Nah, men still want LTRs. They just need to get off the internet, & learn to be better partners, then no woman will leave.

Define “going after”. So many guys are great at swiping, talking, flirting. But when it comes to building a relationship with a woman, they focus more on trying to wait out for/manipulate an outcome (sex/commitment) instead of making the woman enjoy the ride to that destination. Dudes are so warped in shitty dating advice that they are absolutely detached from the reality of what healthy bonding is.. And now hookup is on the decline too.. It’s kinda sad

Not “Western Women”, just a certain sub-category of women. I am Eastern European and have gone out with many Western women, & sure there are women who will sleep early on, but what you’re saying is just not the majority of what I observe. The women who don’t sleep early on actively avoid the men who expect/try to convince women into sleeping early on. So the red pillers usually only attract thots (hence why they generalise all women like that) - decent ones just stay away from men who hoe around…

Agreed, being good-looking gets you through the door easier. BUT I’ve dated attractive, well-put-together men and still didn’t want to be with them if they don’t show enough interest/investment. Because a lot of these dudes get attention from less-attractive women (who they perhaps don’t like), when a girl they like comes around - they don’t know how to treat her. They only know passive reciprocation. And that is an attraction killer.. I would go as far as to compare it to a woman who is overly …

I don’t watch reality shows. But also, how are they reflective of real life?

The overlaps are not minor. You all think women are dumber than you. Also, I was reading red pill forums at the onset - and the concept of women having “too many options”/“riding the CC” was there at the very foundation. You can find some variation of this on MGTOW/TRP/black pill. Agreed, plate spinning is more red pill, but the mindset behind it is present across all platforms - “women bad, men good”.

What about taking precautions against attempting to rape? 😂 or are you going to deny there’s dudes who take advantage of drunk girls?

Well clearly: if you admitted that hot chicks can have strong opinions you might not agree to, you’d have to re-evaluate your ways, because now the hot chick ignoring you cannot be blamed solely on your lack of looks/money. Maybe she doesn’t like you because of how you think? 🤔 such a wild concept. Also, many more scorned men than women on Reddit, I assure you.

He is looking for a reason for his inability to connect to women. As a woman myself who has been on the other end of the interactions he’s describing, I am attempting to explain what other women might be thinking. And I have only started using reddit during the pandemic. Sociable enough 😉

I’m Eastern European, wouldn’t know. Was more referring to the tendency of guys to both accept hookup culture, yet somehow still want “true love”. Judgy? Perhaps a little.

Common parlance or not, a man who is eager to hook up can be differentiated from a man who communicates respect and values connection. A man who wants to hoe around is not relationship-material. And from what I can see a huge chunk of regular posters on purple pill are TRPers to a varying degree.

If you call women “plates”, I can see why you don’t get action with the women you want. Most decent ones nowadays can smell manosperean from a mile - you guys exude the kind of energy that screams “I’m looking for numbers, not humans” from a mile. It’s a real thing. You might have felt a willingness to relate from her, but she might have sensed the plate-spinner’s dryness in you.

But it’s Eastern. We’re talking West vs East

I mean, I assume you met her at a bar/night club? If I’m out on a night with the girls, I will not assume that the guys there are looking for “connection”. And even though I don’t do hookups, I don’t have the illusion that men are the same. Most of my female friends will agree - the men you meet on a night out are more likely the casual hookup/pump&dump type rather than looking for genuine love. A lot of us unconsciously associate the guys we meet in broad daylight as potential for something mor…

I wish a lot of other women didn’t dance around the subject - it’s not the bodycount question that is the real issue (I can definitely see where a lot of you are coming from), but what does that associate the person who’s asking the question, to? And I’ll tell you - women make the connection that he is a red piller/manospherean or reads any similar content. Red pill, even if there are parts about it that are positive, majorly promotes both manipulating women and promiscuous behaviour in men (I a…
