It absolute doesn't change in any physical way. Even the myth about virginity tearing the hymen has been scientifically disproven dozens of times. (If you're interested, I'm happy to find some reputable sources to link.) The reality being that plenty women are born without a hymen, plenty girls unintentionally tear their hymen during normal, rowdy childhood play like riding a bike, and most girls who are born with a hymen and it remains in tact until puberty end up disrupting it on their own eit…

I'm sorry you feel that way. You should try having candid conversations with real live women about their first time having sex and their first time orgasming (as I'm assuming we're in agreement about that being hormone altering experience). This isn't some wild, undocumented claim. But it is wildly arrogant to think a penis permanently alters a woman on a biological level.

Pleasurable sexual experiences alter a woman's hormones. For most women/girls, their first pleasurable experience is by themselves and unfortunately, often times their first experience with someone else isn't particularly pleasurable (either due to nerves or their partners inexperience, but sometimes due to.much worse circumstances). The first time having sex is only special to those who decide it's special to them. It's absolutely meaningless on a biological level.

I'll give you that your analogy may be more fitting but the weird power imbalance you're imagining is not a universal experience and is a pretty weird one. Whether we're talking about dance/tennis or sex, it's already unhealthy for a partner to look down on the other based on experience to something. Ironically, if we're talking about virgin women, it's the opposite of dance/tennis, where more experience is apparently frowned upon in this thread. I just don't understand why. If you dated a woman…

I mean, I can only speak for myself but I'm not sure how either would weigh on whether or not he's a compatible match. It's like asking "do you want a partner who's never had strawberries in their life, or a partner who's had hundreds of strawberries?" I like strawberries and hope to indulge in them throughout our relationship, so as long as we're on the same page there, the number they've had seems pretty irrelevant.

Maybe, but why would that be a negative? Most relationships consist of "imbalances of lived experiences" in almost every realm. Education, travel, socializing, sports/hobbies, cultural knowledge, culinary skills, even things like emotional growth and development. I would think it's these "imbalances of lived experiences" that draw us to others and enrich our relationships. I personally be sort of underwhelmed dating someone who only has the same knowledge and experiences as myself.

Curious why there's any difference here. We know sex can't physically alter the body, so if she never disclosed, you would never know. So why would it make a difference?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
