10	Marriage We don’t know the exact context of the relationship or the man. Perhaps he loves her and wants to commit but also has genuine reasons for not wanting to get the government involved in the marriage. Legal marriage really does give women a trump card over men in terms of power in the relationship especially if he makes a lot more than her/she’s SAHM.
