No, they're not. Marriage is vastly overrated, financially risky and utterly pointless for men. Why buy the cow when the milk can be had for free? Why sign up, even if you have a prenuptial agreement, to litigate assets you earned with a woman who contributed nothing. I had a prenup and it saved my financial ass. More men should have them. I live in a fact based world where the door swings both ways, pity (and amusing) that it bothers you.
