It was painted with a pretty broad stroke to be honest, poorly worded admittedly. No, not every last person is equal.

They need across the board egalitarianism. All lives are equal and worth helping. All of them.

Lol you sound like Dwight Schrute. "Reject a woman, and she will never let it go. One of the many defects of their kind. Also, weak arms"

Its the same in Canada since 1998. I have to pay the taxes on the monies, she doesn't have to pay taxes on it. So I've paid her just over $76,000 in 8 years and it has been tax free for her. Lovely.

Glad to hear one of us dads made out ok, that's fantastic. I spent over 15 grand after I came home to an empty house too..and I didn't win. Was a very dark time having to go through it. The family court system is horrendous.

That's what I thought too, till I spent my retirement on lawyers. Now I don't own shit, and have no retirement. Yay Canada.

Greatly appreciated. No, unfortunately its a very large corporation and it is corporately mandated. He definitely losing the mental battle. Very tough to see, he was the first of al our friends to settle down and get married, have houses, be the guy to lean on when we needed help so to see him like this is heart breaking. All I can do I support as best I can, keep him fed.

Hey op, I feel for you guys. Right now, I have one of my best friends sleeping on my couch. He worked for me up till the government (Canada) took his license due to arrears - they were garnishing his wages (FRO, horseshit agency) and I signed off on his paychecks. When I had to let him go due to no license, a corporate requirement, he was working 55 hours a week at $22 an hour - his take home money after taxes, deductions, and the goddamn FRO was $35. 55 hours of manual labour and $35 take home.…
