It's terrible. I tried dating apps and had a few matches, but the people I matched with were never a looksmatch and were flakey and attention seeking. So I just stopped bothering with it. Getting 1 match a month is far too long for how much time I'd actively spend looking at it. I don't live in the capital, so maybe that's the reason why. It's still a decent sized city though. I do try with the photos, but the fact is the algorithm always seems to push me down to the point I'm hardly noticed. I'…

Yep. It's a complicated issue. The simple fact is that most people don't want kids. If they do, they want perfection in their partner or that social media has made them socially retarded or both. I'm finding to meet people of my own generation, gen-z. I'm finding it to be really difficult here in the UK. I never went to uni, nor stayed in college long due to an apprenticeship. I'm not particularlly photogenic, since I have no friends who will take photos of me on dating profiles. I can make frie…

Most women are not single moms, I don't get the point of it. You keep taking things out of context and its frustrating. What is you deal? I'd never date a single mom ever. So that statement is literally not applicable. Why am I not entitled to fun and happiness? Why am I not allowed to have sex? Are you a femcel because you sound like one. More men should dump women who they have no interest in being long term partners. If women want long-term partners, they should screen for them better and fin…

I am not sure how to put it more plainly. If I don't want the kid, she shouldn't force it upon me to suck it up. If she tries, I can just walk away. How is it fair on me to raise a kid that I do not want to have? So many advocate for aboriton, so go with that or let the kid get adopted by someone else. No way am I being tied to someone when I can be going through the prime of my life. I want fun just as much as women. If a woman who I do not see as a long term partner is trying to tie me down th…

It was the mom choice to have a kid that I didn't want to have, she's just as responsible in a hypothetical scenario. A kid who grows up to be troublesome is not my concern just as the mother thought its her body her choice. Well can't I think the same please? This is why is you lack empathy you just get these shit outcomes, the mother should just as well know the consequences of not having a dad, thereby try and avoid that.

Yeah because being a cop, millitary officer and bouncer are such well paid jobs. These jobs may be appealing for a chavvy woman as they're masculine, but they're terrible jobs for long term partners.

This. Two ways to tackle this is this... Say you are of high status, if they suddenly turn their tune up, you can whatever you like with them and not commit to them, since they already showed themselves up. Or two, don't say you are, and they won't be attracted to you. I'd personally find that if you think you're successful to the point you're satisfied with, your confidence will naturally exude, and regardless of what you shown about yourself, that it doesn't matter. Still though, it's quite ea…

A lot of women in today society have mannerisms of a man. I mean sometimes the way they strut around looks so masculine, it's so unattractive. They're usually these three things, spatially unaware, secondly, overweight to obese, have the posture of a manly man and always looks pissed off.

More men should leave kids to the single moms if they didn't want them. At the end of the day, if the mom wants to raise the kid on their own, then go ahead. Her body her choice, my actions my choice. I think this reddit page lacks empathy, because without empathy, how can you get a win-win scenario. You end up getting the worse outcomes if both people want to get a one up over another. It's petty.

China is an odd country, because they potray it as a masculine country who will overtake America, which will never happen as their technology is utter garbage. The elite will corner off most of their population and kill them off through direct or indirect means. They'll probably use Taiwan as an excuse to kill of most of their population.

I think the easiest way of allowing people to build social connections is to make university free, or have more courses without the extra costs. I never went to college (1 day a week so yes, but no), and never went to university. I was a late bloomer so I never made the connections nor can be in the environment to do so. Only thing I can say is that it gets better over time, hopefully. But I do think in this growing isolating world, especially with WFH, that it won't get better. I'm 23 years old…

If more women just put the bloody phone down, I'd probably want to actually try and approach them. Most look very unapproachable and are fixated on their phone. There's more to a person, then just pictures on a screen, but since that's what they all care about, go ahead. Don't complain about not having a husband at 30+ years old.

They also need to look attractive to me and perhaps not be chatting away with their 5 men orbiters.

True this. It's seriously hard to want to talk to people in who're in their late twenties to early 30's, and you're in your very early twenties, on your own. While they chatter away, and none of them look like eye candy and the men are unkempt and the women look plain jane. If you're like me who's a massive introvert, I just don't want to bother. Most people look average to me. Now if there was someone like me in the vicinity and on their own, I will probably go and talk to them and want to do s…

lives a whole state away. Making friends is in fact very possible when you have hundreds or thousands of similar people in the same place, it's just that the amount of young people has vastly decreased, and you don't get the "critical mass" our parents and grandparents had. Yeah they call this the depopulation crisis. It's harder to make kids, if there's no one to make kids with. Anyone denying that demographics doesn't play a factor is stupid. For instance, I go to work, any young people? Nope!…

It's not necessarily mindset, if I don't want to talk to them, I just don't! Can't change genes! lol

In a cost of living crisis, paying £4 for a cup of coffee is just really silly. A junior doctor wage is something like £13 here. Not worth it. Plus it's mostly elderly who go, or if you're in the city, fine there'll be young people.

Agreed!!!!!!!! The biggest problem is the lack of places to connect with people. I find it hard as an introvert to connect with people, and given that I'm Gen-z and never went to uni or college. I got an apprenticeship immeditely; I find it so hard to meet anyone my age that I find attractive. I'm not fussy... Bars are not good places, sure I can fake it and make it, and have done that and succeeded, but its soul destroying. I Also, why the hell do I want to go to uni, to be placed into a lot …

This is just really weird. It just encourages peacocking and presenting yourself in an ostentatious way that makes you less relatable. There's more to people then just photos on a screen. The key thing is never say never. How do you even meet people through insta? Start googling random #'s then find the nearest women? That's just really weird. Feels so artificial and I'd rather treat them like trash at that point.

hi there, writing in. its a bit late... I do think London is absolutely fantastic. I don't know why, but when I was there, the degree of self-confidence was high. I think my dress sense and personality really fits in with the city. In a city such as mine, I just don't feel empowered. It's a student city and there's nothing to do here except drink. And if you're like me, trying to lose weight, then drinking isn't going to help. I just want other activities rather then drinking and boring crap. Yo…

It's basically a downward cycle. Positive experiences reinforces itself, negative experiences, you just stop caring. I'm sure it will get better over time. I sadly never went to uni as there's no reason to for my qualifications. But I still really want to go for the social reasons. 9K+ a year in debt are not good enough reasons to go though. Job environment matters a lot too, I'd imagine if you worked in a bar you'd be pretty successful socially. A WFH enivronment with very little human contact?…

For one I have work from the the office. I can't work in a coffee shop because of confidential reasons. I mean if you're looking at sensitive financial data in a coffee shop, then shame on you! And I have gone out alone... This is just useless advice to me.

Yep and the easiest to maintain too. It's not hard to build muscle, but to be shredded all the time and keeping a social life amongst other things. that can be tough.

Problem with exposure is how do you do this? When you work from home all the time you hardly meet people nor have the oppurtunuites for evening drinks. This is more of a societal problem, because even if you're engaged on meeting with people, there are plenty others who are not and focused on studying or some crap.

I think finally, I wish people don't get so obssessed about a given nature. In the end none of this matters, nor does the internet actually care about your opinion or anyone in real life for that matter. People just need to keep the phrase "one day at a time" in mind.

I think location matters a lot. If you're not in your home city, you're more likely to test the limits.

Defintelly looks max into apperance. If you want a guide heres how you do it. Do the gym, do strength training consistantly, at least do Arnolds 7 golden pillers exercises if you're that lazy;Get into classic menswear, watch Gentleman gazzette and despite how annoying they speak about crap, just watch it and learn. In no time you will become a menswear expert;Get into shoes and shoe maintenance. A nice pair of shiny shoes will make you feel empowered and give you pressence to everywhere where yo…

If you're an autistic male, maybe crossdress? Worked very well for me. Scored lots of girls through this and it was very fun and people saw me as "the quirky but fun person to be around". I feel like the way I feel the best about myself is embracing the flaws and saying "screw this shit! I don't care". It's one of the reasons why I like classic menswear, its so easy and affordable to stand out in a tasteful manner. Unfortuantelly, my type is very much the punk type, so being suited and booted gi…

I have to agree with this. I'm in the UK and anywhere outside of London feels terrible. Whenever I was in the capital, I found myself much more confident and calmer in the sense that loads of people found me attractive, compared to my home city where no one does. Unfortuantelly, I care more about money so I'm not doing anything until my late twenties to thirties. Costs like £1400 per month for a shitty bed in central london. Go to college? No. Because I don't want to get a load of debt. They c…

Why get married to someone with a lot of debt, when you yourself have no debt? You have the ace-in-the-hole where as the other is completely more reliant and can be taken advantage of by the government. Who wants to marry them and expose themselves to that. Of course this only applies if you were sensible enough to not go to uni, or if you did, you paid it of due to the income you gained from it. Just don't marry partners who has student debt or do anything longterm with them. That's simpliest e…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/23 09:36 PM

Men should care about women's debt primarily because it's a form of control from the government. One day the government can say, "right well we're not writing off your debt after 30 years, and if you don't continue to pay, we're seizing goods". If you have no debt, they have no control. So don't be married to a woman who's gone to uni. Most of them are super unattractive personality wise anyways. Why should you be penalized for someone who went and partied in uni hmm. It's only fair if both of y…
