Does she make your dick hard? Then get after it. You are both adults.

Awesome, Bud! You may have been unsuccessful but that leads to improvement. The greatest masters are those who have failed the most (and learned from it).

That’s it, bud. I’m sure you know that it is popular belief that women hold all the cards with dating but they only have as much power as you give them. Have your standards and boundaries and keep them intact. It automatically vetts the girls that you are pursuing.

Social dynamics between people can be really confusing and frustrating. It is important to keep in mind what level of confusion and frustrating you are willing to tolerate though. If it’s too much you could chalk up the L or point blank ask her why she is avoiding your advances. If she sticks with “I don’t know” the reasons don’t really matter. She is wasting your time and, intentionally or not, playing with your emotions. Don’t get mad about that, though. People l’s brains and emotions are kind…

You can literally talk about anything. Even if it doesn’t seem cool or witty. Ask about what shows he watches or what he does for a living. How crazy the weather has been, what he does for fun (could be phrased as doing/did anything fun this weekend). Hell, ask him his favorite color and why. It is really easy to over think this stuff. If he is actually interested in you it almost doesn’t matter what you talk about. He’ll respond. At least I would. I’d try to keep a conversation going with a wom…

Wait, are you saying your glasses are deal breakers from these people? They could also be negging you a bit. Depending on how they are saying “nerd” it could just be playful and not directed as a insult. It could be awkward flirting. Personally I dig glasses. They can raise a girl’s rank in my book. Also, spending $3,800 just for some sexy time seems absurd to me. If you hate your glasses and the surgery would be an overall quality of life improvement go for it. Otherwise it seems like the glass…

Agreed. Never let a women know she’s gotten to you. As much as you’d like to lash out. Keep it inside. Shit talk her to your friends. Not to her. Don’t give girls more ammo for how “all men” are douche bags. I’d have either got up and left saying something like, “I can already tell we aren’t clicking. I’m going to go.” Or when you ask for the bill tell the server to split the check.

Personally, as a guy, I’m throughly impressed by any woman who approaches me and just from the simple act of the approach I’ll engage in conversation with them. Mostly because I know how hard it can be to make the approach. A woman going for what she wants is sexy. I think most guys would agree and if the guy you approach isn’t completely socially awkward he’ll probably pick up the conversation for you. I’ve also found that a simple, “Hi, my name is _____. What’s your’s?” Works fairly well.

I agree with the others on here. 20+ isn’t terrible. Something else that may help is scale back expectations at first. Just to get comfortable with with making cold opens. Meaning, get it firm in your mind that you are not approaching for a phone number or date. Just go at it looking to have a conversation. Once you build up more confidence and being able to be comfortable with reflections start shooting your shot. One of my best success with that mind set was in a bar. There were two girls. One…

Are you paying for everything while on the dates with her? She could also be looking for free entertainment. I’d say chalk her up as a loss and move on. If the friend asks again why you aren’t making a move just tell her you aren’t feeling it with that person. It’s technically true considering she isn’t on the same page as you.

Absolutely agree. I’ve been using meetup for years and have gotten great results. Way better than online dating.

I’ve been using some advice I heard from a podcast. It’s called round to 100%. Basically, if you feel like you are picking up any percentage of interest at all from a girl round your perceived interest from her to 100% and shoot your shot. Act accordingly from there.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
