This is great. I actually have a large to-do list of "life events" I've always wanted to do. Go skydiving. Zip lining. Go snowboarding again. Horseback riding. Mine cost just over $2K. If u have good health insurance, maybe they'll cover the rest, but since it's a voluntary surgery and birth control optiions are available as an alternative, they may make you pay the amount in full. I got my bill and paid it off over time in installments. Oh capitalism.

Fight for it. Go get a second opinion and this time, bring a typed up essay detailing every single reason you want the surgery, and then also print out articles that support your arguments (don't just cite them). Get an Exif remover on your phone. There are many free apps that accomplish this. After taking a photo, run it thru the app and clear off any data. I'd also reccomend renaming the photo itself since there's usually a date there by default. Once all the metadata is cleared, it will save, and now it's ok to post.

I stopped shaving several years ago. Out of all the boyfriends and friends with benefits in that almost-decade, NONE have cared about me having hair. Not a one.
