Do you think he would just get over it if you were the one liking posts and photos of men you found attractive? No I doubt it. Don’t let it slide. You don’t have to be argumentative about it, but you should definitely nip it in the bud asap. It’s disrespectful to you and if you don’t say anything, he will most likely continue to do it and may even start disrespecting you in other ways because he will see you as someone who will just always overlook it.

He already showed you that he has no regard for you nor his own child. He obviously doesn’t care about your or your child’s wellbeing. You don’t need to be in a relationship with him in order to have him in your child’s life. And even if he does come back, who is to say that he wouldn’t do this to you again?

I think so many women suffer from internalized misogyny and they have had so many bad experiences with misogyny and it is “safer” for them to be on the side of the ‘oppressors’. The same old “if you can’t beat them, join them” mentality. This is just my theory, and no one has to agree but I feel like sometimes it’s a coping mechanism for them and they may feel that misogyny will effect them less if they start perpetuating misogynistic antics themselves.

Yeah cuz 99% of the victims are women and perpetrators are usually males. So what’s your point?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
