Dating as a divorced dad with a kidBruh, do not in any way base your beliefs on experience from dating apps. The apps are just cruel and full of fake profiles. Theres plentyyyyyyyy of women with kids who are awesome. Probably, burned by some jerkoff, but they are out there. Keep looking and work at it! I found a fantastic one, two kids, via an app! | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/06/26 09:58 PM
Alimony for life? Is that a real thing? Is anybody unfortunate enough to be in that group right now?Lifetime alimony is a wild concept. But more so because other humans think its an ok thing to put on someone. Like, somehow a human thinks this is a good thing. I got lucky and even though alimony was only supposed to be for 6 years my ex found another soul to leech from and I only paid for four years. I feel for some of you, man or woman, that has to pay for your ex. Total bullshit. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/06/26 06:45 PM
Can someone help become functional again.Man, I feel ya. Seems like its not been long for you? But, either way, the best solution is time! Its true. Itll all work out in time. While you can, push yourself to just do things you, like. Even if it feels dumb, or lonely, itll take practice snd eventually youll realize your current, is in the past. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/05/26 12:25 AM

Any post divorce success stories? It sucks no matter how you look at it. But in the end, its going to be ok. It wont happen overnight though so keep that in mind during tougher times. And, if you work for it, you definitely can turn it around for the better. But it takes work. | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/04/26 09:28 PM
Any post divorce success stories?44 now, divorced after 13 years, she had an affair. Took about four years to really open up to someone again, made some mistakes along the way. But now I have a great companion, way more money, a larger house, paid off cars, and the most important part, and even better relationship with my kids. Its doable, but takes hard work and doesnt look the same for anyone. Also, my divorce was pretty straightforward. So I think that helped a lot. | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/04/26 06:58 PM
