Monk mode is a man putting himself first, a practice that female dominated society deeply frowns upon. We are taught from an early age that as men we are disposable utilities, that there is nobility to being trodden upon, drained of our assets, worked to death, that our dreams and aspirations are childish, our hobbies are pointless, and that we are to take pride in putting ourselves last as part of our role as a “provider.” And to never question our fate especially not to the women, politicians,…

You go queen! Know your value! You don’t need no man … except for money, a car, a house…. You are independent and strong!

Basically you are dating the ex wife of one of the guys on here… your ex is dating one of them. They are all same, no exceptions other than how well they hide it. You are a disposable asset that has a shelf life until she hears the word “no.” Saying no to her is you being emotionally abusive, narcissist and insensitive to her needs, like needing to get a designer handbag or a new car that you pay for.

My dad met my ex the first time and just said “she’s a fucking grifter.” How right he was. Listen to old guys about women! They know.

They fade away. Honestly it is liberating to not have a younger man’s sex drive.

It largely depends on the state and ultimately the judge but if her name is on the title she owns half the house whether or not it was her money used for the down payment.

Do the absolute least amount of work and provide as little information as possible. If opposing counsel doesn’t like it do a little bit more. Give them nothing.

I did for the settlement phase. My lawyer flat out told me she was dragging it out to run up my bills. Honestly it was dare I say fun. I have some law background so I filed one frivolous motion after another. Filed counter suits. Frustrated her lawyer so much he screamed at me to stop. Fuck him. I filed more. It cost me fifteen bucks to do it online and wasn’t like I could be disbarred. Judge liked me. I got everything I wanted and more.

I had about 40k in a cash account she would have gotten half of so I invested all of it in my two kids college funds.

I bought my dream house a few months before we married. Never put her on the title or mortgage. The house doubled in value after she filed (Covid madness) in a very hot market. She thought she was walking away after a less than two year marriage with half my equity. Judge gave her one half of principal only payments for 18 months, then I played with those numbers and her lazy lawyer never did the math. She divorced me thinking she’d hit the lottery for a half million but ended up with a few gran…
