5	PSA About Age Gap Relationships As noted above, a large age gap suggests the older person is looking for a sex object, not a friend and equal. This applies when the older person is a woman too. In my view it’s not as bad as the other way round because we live in a patriarchal society so the power imbalance is doubled when the man is the older one.
