| – | The overwhelming are women are painstakingly disingenuous about gender roles. They want gender roles not because "it's sexy" and more because a laziness and convenienceYou want to know why men aren't approaching? Well you guys keep moving the goal posts. #MeToo made it so men were creepy just for approaching. Then comes along online dating, which I contend is a huge problem. Online dating is still being used but now we're being expected to approach again? The goal posts keep getting moved and we not even told about it | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/08/26 06:47 PM |

Young men mating is a modern constructEven the peasants still had an opportunity to mate. It just happened later in life. I believe 22 to 24 age. | 1 | Young men mating is a modern constructYoung men having an option is in mate is not a modern invention. In the middle ages, children of nobility would begin marrying at 12 to 14. The male loneliness epidemic is the product of many different situations. I was listening to Scott Galloway who said men need 2000 swipes to get 5 coffees. Out of those 5 coffees, 4 will ghost you. Also it seems like the younger generation is trying to reinvent the wheel when it comes to dating. Like who wants a will they won't they relationship? When people used to get together that was it. | 2 | "Hypergamy" is just a way to blame women for men's lack of effort to attract themHonestly a 40 year old woman seeing high schoolers as attractive isn't that much of a stretch. I mean how many women teachers have been brought up on sexual assault charges this year? Gen Z doesn't have anti sex mentality. It's absolutely mental to believe that these boys don't want to get laid. The issue is that women have pivoted from Marriage and children to career. Some eventually will have children but I believe that most will not. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/07/26 10:36 AM
"Hypergamy" is just a way to blame women for men's lack of effort to attract themHypergamy - the dating of someone from a higher socioeconomic status. It was absolutely necessary historically for women to date up because well women couldn't even have a checking account until the 70's. Back then most women were stay at home moms, not in the workforce. While women may not control hypergamy so to speak, but they do control their next partner who is usually of a higher socioeconomic status. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/07/26 10:24 AM
"Hypergamy" is just a way to blame women for men's lack of effort to attract themSorry OP, Hypergamy is a real thing. It seems women today have an over inflated sexual market value. You don't see average guys dating average women anymore. Women in history have always dated up and for the most part a lot of men don't have an issue dating down. You say that women don't have control over hypergamy., when that simply isn't true. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/07/26 09:25 AM

Thoughts on this? Men aren’t needed anymore, and they’re struggling to adapt to being wanted by Olivia BarbulescuSo for the conclusion yes men need to be reminded of their worth. Obviously being needed only for tasks would just feel unfulfilling. But at the same point, unless close, I don't really see a whole lot of women going out of their way to remind men of their worth. | 0 | How are women able to walk away from a guy so easily? If a woman leaves a long term relationship it’s because the guy didn’t keep the romance alive by taking her out on regular dates or he didn’t do things around the house or his personality changed and he was being more of a jerk Why are you placing blame on one gender? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/09/24 09:41 PM

CMV: Having no friends is NOT a red flag, especially in the modern dayOP - I can definitely understand the sentiment. I am a fellow neurodivergent person to be fair most NT's do not understand how we process our relationships. Personally, I have a core group of friends that I've had since high school and in one instance elementary school. Most of these friends have grown and have families by now. I am thankful that they do still try to associate me in their lives. While I'm sad that it has never happened for me, looking back it's probably for the best. Unfortunate… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/08/24 09:11 PM

The best move a single man can make is work on being happy alone.Ok let's get this straight. I don't NEED a woman to live. I WANT a woman who would like to be a part of my life and a partner. Sometimes it's just the perception of the quality of life. Although I'm not sure why you think I'll be getting used. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/07/24 07:03 PM
| – | I'm tired of people telling men that they shouldn't care about relationship/sex/intimacy and just focus on "being happy singe"If you don't have a deep level of connection, you start to see a myriad of negative effects, from increased odds of high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity, a weakened immune system, addiction, suicide, anxiety, depression, cognitive decline, Alzheimer's disease, and so on. Isolation is terminal. I can't upvote the enough. I'm a rather introverted and quiet guy. It's not in my nature to go out of my way to just have conversations with people. About 3 years ago I moved with a friend to a smal… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/07/24 02:43 PM |

As a woman (and who will qualify as a liberal no less), I feel there are way too many posts here trying to guilt trip cuckolded men to bring up kids that are not theirs. I say I have to disagree with Blue Pill on this one.As someone with experience in this area, I feel I owe my two cents. I dated a woman for 7.5 years. She had two sons living with her. Her sons were 9 and 1.5yo at the time. I even went through and bought us a house that was paid off. Most of the relationship was good, but the end was very horrible. Long story short, I haven't haven't talked to them in over 4 years. I will never do this again. I feel like my time was completely wasted, and could have been put to better use with a better partner. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/07/24 06:37 PM
Are men upset that mothers will prioritize their children over their lover?Same exact thing happened to me. So I'd probably never date a single mom again. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/06/24 03:14 PM
| – | At what point is a man "too available" to you? Why is a man who's available to date you a negative?I'm neurodivergent also and let's face our social issues will always be looked down upon. All this post tells me is there is no happy ending for me and that I may as well be dead. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/04/24 11:20 PM |
Mental issues are not as prevalent source of problems as you might thinkCan't say I'm surprised. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/04/24 01:30 AM
Mental issues are not as prevalent source of problems as you might thinkUnfortunately that may not be an option at this point. In fact it may be the opposite and I may have to retire. I would at least like to work until I can't but I have no idea when that'll be. I guess it really depends on how advanced my case is. Some background: the woman I was with back then, well she was just the wrong woman to invest in. I bought a house for me, her, and her children. I lost it all in 8 years. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/04/24 07:20 PM
Mental issues are not as prevalent source of problems as you might thinkWhen it comes to suicide, I've considered it and even tried it. Granted, it's easier to fight off those ideas as an adult. I would be in the 50% that does have a mental health issue. I only found that out a few year's ago that I have ADHD Inattentive type. Very empowering because I learned why I tick like I do. Also learned that my introverted father most likely had it too and wasn't aware. However I learned that at least my mother was aware I was diagnosed at around age 5, she just didn't want … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/04/24 04:29 PM

Being slightly neurodivergent is more of a dealbreaker for most women than being a complete scumbagIt can get worse than just being neurodivergent. I was diagnosed at 41 (probably earlier, but that's a different story altogether). Now I just turned 44 about 7 weeks ago. About two and a half weeks later I ended up getting diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment. MCI is step 3 of 7 when it comes to dementia. Pretty sure no one someone whose brain is deteriorating. Sadly this is what the rest of my life will look like. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/03/24 06:08 PM
