The decision for solitude came after I realized that I cannot even feel comfortable to be myself with my platonic friends. I witnessed how my mother won my father's family and friends' love by acting. For her, they are just tools to be used to cement her position in the relationship. If I cannot even have platonic friends without manipulation (and at this point, it is really blurry, which one is manipulation attempt and which one is my honest personality), then I should not even have friends. Ho…

Honestly...I think at this point and forward, I am fine with solitude. The place I am living now has great nature and I can support myself fine without family inheritance. Was it washing his car when he was asleep? Was it bringing food to the table when he was working? Was it hiding his keys and pretending to find it when he looked fo…

I believe you. At this very moment, I know exactly a former highschool friend that is consigned to that fate. Her parents and siblings even openly saying it in front of me. She works and could have rented her own place, but not allowed to live on her own, because: 'what if mom or dad got stroke and all, won't you feel sorry if no one is there?'

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
