would you take a girl back if she was your first gf and your first kiss (never had sex because he couldn't and has never, medical issue) and you dumped her because she kept getting mad at you for not drinking water/only eating junk food/smoking all day/not leaving the house/not taking her on dates could you ever forgive her for nagging you for weeks and weeks before you dumped her, or is it no chance once you view a girl as this negative, even though she is worried for your health and felt like …

here 2 overshare: i just got out of a two month relationship, and i always found it ironic to read day in day out on here that girls (college age esepcially) wld never date an autistic guy w zero sexual experience, and have these traits specifically touted as undateable ad nauseum, yet this guy was exactly that. in the end, the issue with him was i think more just him being a very typical early 20's guy - eating like shit, sleeping half the day, smoking 5x daily, not wanting to exercise, go for …

feminism, famously uncriticised

the worst part isn't even that they don't think its creepy, but that they're pretending not to in order to victimise themselves further and make women seem crazy

"no one wants to admit (thing that is said every single day and is literally a popular meme format atp)"

not really, since most straight men are terrible at sex

and men are not allowed to express themselves anywhere close to what women are allowed to do. this subreddit is hilarious

I don't see why I should criticise the guy. He's either a cheater or a guy who really don't care much about his gf anymore and would happily leave her for someone else. oh brother

im not expecting anything. but you are a person outside of the situation who's choosing to not criticise the guy at all, which is very typical ppd, but still an eye roll. my original comment was a bit of a joke since reddit as a whole is so committed to the 'women need to ask guys out!!' thing
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 05:49 PM

also taken men are more attractive somehow lol but isn't the logic on here that women like taken guys only when they know that they're taken though? like a 'other women want him, so now i want him too' thing the impression i had of him before, from him texting school stuff on a saturday night was he is a loner, like me

you got me there 🫠 why did you know he'd have a girlfriend?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 04:42 PM

and that's obviously why it took him so long to bring up his gf. 'my relationship is bad, im planning to end it' is what every cheater says 😅 it's no excuse. you still have to behave like someone in a relationship even if you feel it's run its course (which more often than not isn't what the cheater is actually telling their partner) A little text / question such as: "So, are you in a relationship or single right now?" takes 2 seconds to ask asking someone out and getting a yes kind of eliminate…

sure, the invitation is one thing, but you would think nothing of your girlfriend texting a guy for six hours straight until 2am, only mentioning being in a relationship at the tail end? (to tell this guy the relationship is bad + she's wanting to end it) the point of my original comment wasn't that that he did something wrong, more that i thought it was funny. but the responses implying i did something wrong are what made me roll my eyes, since in the situation id say the onus is more on the pe…

no social media. i wouldn't have texted him if he did and i could see a girl on his page 😭

while i know the default state of this subreddit is 'the man is never at fault' i don't think you can honestly say that if this were a woman who accepted an invitation to go out with her male classmate, then texted the classmate for six hours straight into the early morning, you'd still say 'its the fault of the guy who asked her out for not checking she's single' you'd say why is she texting a guy in her class till the early hours of the morning when she has a bf
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 04:11 PM

i think if you ask someone out and they say yes its fair to assume that they're single 😅
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 04:02 PM

well someone saying yes to you because they're excited to be asked out but aren't actually available isn't a good thing

made a comment yesterday about wanting to shoot my shot with a guy in my class who's always staring at me, i messaged him and we ended up texting for six hours straight into the early morning. only at the end when the conversation moved to past relationships did he slip in that he has a girlfriend right now 💀 this proved my theory that asking men out is a wash since they'll always just say yes, no matter their circumstance
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 03:14 PM

wrote a comment in yesterday's thread about shooting my shot with a guy in my class who i think likes me, we ended up texting for six hours straight well into the early morning, but then he told me only at the very end that he has a girlfriend 💀 after god, fear men

ive asked him out, i just didn't specifically suggest where. and he's responding well so all is good lol
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/23 05:54 PM

idk we've only had one 1-on-1 conversation and it was just about directions, would've felt awkward
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/23 05:40 PM

idk, i haven't really thought about it. ive noticed passively since i met him that he's attractive and smart and i like his voice, but i didn't consider it any deeper. i think id probably develop a crush if i talked to him more, its only been in group settings so far.

too late, already asked him out. guess ill find out 😭

fast food restaurant too informal 🫠 just kidding ill leave the ball in his court and just asking if he'd want to hang out
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/23 05:30 PM
2

i feel 90% sure he's into me because whenever we're talking in the group he always just looks at me and talks directly at me, and looks at me a lot in class. but i also might just be full of myself. well either way ive texted him now, this is your influence

i have his number, so i could ask him about this weekend. im just worried its too last minute and he already has plans. then again, last weekend i noticed he was sending us class staff in our gc even on a saturday night, which i found endearing. so maybe he's free

they're nerve-wracking. i wish i could just skip to the relationship part. lunch might sound too formal, but ill take your advice and ask him if he wants to get a coffee after next class (im saying this but will probably chicken out 🫡)

do i need to specifically point out that that was me over exaggerating and not being literal 😭

i think a guy in my class has a crush on me. how do i shoot my shot....i already played dumb about where something is so he could show me the directions, but he didn't ask me out and that's like my only move 🫠
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/23 05:05 PM

it was actually a guy who did this, i switched the gender because i knew that would be the quickest way id get a response here. thanks!

would you say its disrespectful for a girl to organize a date with a guy from an app, hours before her previously planned second date with a different guy from the app?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/23 06:46 PM

so then why do men on here constantly complain about women only going for chad and not giving regular guys a chance. if you don't want women to go for less attractive guys but you complain when women go for the most attractive guys, what is it you want

my boyfriend often says things that implies he thinks i don’t really like him/am not truly attracted to him. i think this is because i initially wasn’t interested in him, but then after a year i pursued him and we got together. is there any way to shake him out of this feeling, i already compliment him and pursue him a lot still

i haven’t thought about my first love in years, and i know that i was only so in love with him because i was a teenager desperate for a boyfriend, and so fell in love with the first guy who made an effort with me. do you really believe this?

thanks for the advice. im generally very victim-y though, i know this about myself so im trying to see both sides. i had called him a lot, like 20 times (though i didn’t usually call that much, and hadn’t texted him for three days prior) and he was home at the minute with his mum who had broken her ankle. i know he was generally busy while back home, and having a lot of family time. so i can see why it would have pissed him off.

asking for advice: im (23f) about to go and do study abroad for four months in another country. i broke up with my boyfriend (23m) a few weeks ago, he has broken up with me twice before when i complained to him about our relationship, but we got back together both times. we’ve had the same problem in the six or so months we’ve been seeing each other: he’s always busy/dealing with some personal issues and is just v focused on himself and said issues. i would always listen to his problems, ask abo…

not true. the jonas brothers have been very openly desperate for attention/deals in recent years. if you look at their subreddit over the past year, even their fans have called them out for doing shameless cash grabs and sponsorships. they’re not as rich and unbothered as you think, joe especially.
