This was also one of the first things I noticed in Kiev, and it changed my whole perspective on life. I lived in Toronto my whole life, and here's a good example: if there's a hot girl on the subway, you can feel the glances in her direction from all over the train. The greed, the desperation, and the lust just fouls the air when a pretty girl walks in.
