I don't like this. It sounds beggy and a beta move for sure. If you get the chance to talk with him alone the "who you digging" line is great, but don't buy him a drink. It shows you are trying to gain his recognition.

Maybe try to flirt a little more it sounds like maybe they think you're inviting them as a friend, also if this is the next day you're texting them it could come off as needy. Maybe with some wait a day or a few and then invite. Also you could try being more flirty instead of saying "hey want to grab a drink after work?" How are your conversations going with them? I use to be big on getting numbers and texting girls, but now I keep my texts brief and only text her if I have a motive for it (like hanging out). If she is enthused with your text conversation carry on, but always have a motive with it and carrying on the conversation longer is not a motive
