Also a gendered issue. While its an unpopular opinion here and in /r/MensRights, both of which I frequent, I do very much believe women have it harder than men generally speaking. Both constantly looking to men to lead, and constantly assuming women can't, hurt both genders a lot, I don't think either are good ideas.

I absolutely agree that the societal perception is that women are not responsible for their actions is sexist, and the motivating factor here. That attitude sucks and I wouldn't disagree with that for a moment, but its the attitude that is the problem, being allowed to stay out of jail is very much a benefit. I think the issue that a lot of people are having here with what you are saying is that you are couching one way in which women are highly privileged as somehow being detrimental to them. I totally agree that sexism sucks for both genders, but there are many ways in which men and women are privileged. Just because its traditionally considered a "guy thing" does not mean its a "guy thing." Women have every right to have and wield a firearm that men do and both deserve those rights protected.

Dear god I was hoping to see this here. Its something that if you talk to any woman happens constantly to them. There are real mens rights issues out there, but this comic very accurately depicts a serious issue that women have when doing anything online. The other two comics (posted in comments) are a little more crazy
