| 1 | [Meta] Is women not getting punished due to sexism against women? Also a gendered issue. While its an unpopular opinion here and in /r/MensRights, both of which I frequent, I do very much believe women have it harder than men generally speaking. Both constantly looking to men to lead, and constantly assuming women can't, hurt both genders a lot, I don't think either are good ideas. | /r/PussyPass | 25/08/14 10:33 PM |
| 2 | [Meta] Is women not getting punished due to sexism against women?I absolutely agree that the societal perception is that women are not responsible for their actions is sexist, and the motivating factor here. That attitude sucks and I wouldn't disagree with that for a moment, but its the attitude that is the problem, being allowed to stay out of jail is very much a benefit. Consider it from the flip side of the coin, as a man if I am accused of any kind of violent crime I'll get more time because men are considered "violent" and "unable to be rehabilitated." | 5 | [Meta] Is women not getting punished due to sexism against women?I think the issue that a lot of people are having here with what you are saying is that you are couching one way in which women are highly privileged as somehow being detrimental to them. I totally agree that sexism sucks for both genders, but there are many ways in which men and women are privileged. The same way I, as a man, benefit from people tending to take me more seriously when it comes to business, women too benefit from having vastly lower sentences for the same crimes, and automaticall… | /r/PussyPass | 25/08/14 08:26 PM |
| 2 | I found this on my news feed. Honestly sickeningNot that this means it must be wrong, but this article is obviously very biased and we have zero back story on this event. | /r/MensRights | 24/05/14 01:52 PM |
| 2 | Divorce Tactic #238: Turn husband in for felony charges.Just because its traditionally considered a "guy thing" does not mean its a "guy thing." Women have every right to have and wield a firearm that men do and both deserve those rights protected. | /r/MensRights | 27/02/14 07:56 PM |
| 1 | Divorce Tactic #238: Turn husband in for felony charges. To be honest this belongs in /r/progun not here. This is more sensationalized to be about how guns are bad than that this guy/men are bad. | /r/MensRights | 27/02/14 05:38 PM |
| -4 | Sexism in comicsDear god I was hoping to see this here. Its something that if you talk to any woman happens constantly to them. There are real mens rights issues out there, but this comic very accurately depicts a serious issue that women have when doing anything online. The other two comics (posted in comments) are a little more crazy | /r/MensRights | 30/05/13 05:23 PM |
| -3 | The ultimate in musical misandry -- "Menocide" by Otep Shamaya. Literally a dead serious, not-a-syllable-of-humor-in-it call for the extinction of the male sex.Not to say its ok to say things like that, but there are WAY more songs out there (basically all of hip hop) that degrade women. | /r/MensRights | 05/05/13 05:32 PM |
