Your point about mothering also offended me at first but after some thought, also 100% true. Honestly I never had any kind of mother figure, because my mom died when I was incredibly young. My Mom's been alive, but not with us, if you know what I'm saying. I have a second mother now, but she's 30 years older than me so it's okay. Having a female friend that mothers you is something I have to watch out for, thanks for reminding me.
