Bangkok is a real city that has Michelin restaurants all the way down to food carts that will sell soup for $1. You can drink fancy import wine or drink 7-11 beers on the curb for $2. So while a lot of websites and travel bloggers will give pretty ridiculously cheap prices for things, most people aren't happy with just the cheapest stuff all the time. | 1 | [deleted by user]Very little. I spent a few weeks there years back. The people are very friendly but the food isn't very good. It's easy to get around because everyone speaks English, but it's dangerous and uncomfortable compared to Thailand and Vietnam. Beautiful beaches. It's a great place to learn to surf because the coast faces right out into the Pacific ocean and they get great waves.
