So I see your list of various issues people in this subreddit fight for, and I'd agree with most but I'm hoping you could expand on a few. Namely, Point 2, 3, 4, 8, 9. As in, these issues are broad and I'm hoping you could expand on how they shape up in society. I personally as man haven't faced any of these before so I wouldn't understand what you mean when you say something like "Vilification". I also wish there was more data-related research with regards to finding or disproving parental diff…

im actually quite open to having my mind changed and have on several occasions. so ill bite. the subreddit is about men's rights. in what ways does society treat men poorly? i can imagine some ways such as women having an advantage for children custody (but that's because women are biologically attuned to taking care of children). i see something as big as religion which has (unfortunately) made its way into society. and every single religion is male focused and is centered on males and treats w…

damn i feel bad for causing you to waste ur time writing a lot. my original comment was a troll comment. i only made like two comments here. i saw that there was a mens rights subreddit and thought the idea was silly and ridiculous. i genuinely don't wanna waste ur time.

nothing in my comment implied that women are objects. they are agents that have fallen victim to other agents.

and that's an overtly sexist comment. i havent seen a single man on this subreddit say "hey guys, maybe we should help improve other men instead of blaming women and allowing men to get away with being a shitty human being."

i mean, i did read the message. and i understand what you're saying. i have had significant problems that i have brought upon myself. and i have felt that kind of way before. but to actually commit it? that's something different. that's someone building the courage to commit an action from which there is no turning back. these kind of people aren't victims. and like i said, don't fit the profile of the talking point commonly used here.

not really i look down upon all suicide victims regardless of whatever. and for those who commit suicide because they believe it's the best decision, they are doing it on their own accord and aren't really a victim so they wouldn't fit your suicide victim profile.

congrats you dug through my profile to bring out a problem with myself instead of actually providing a solid argument. i believe the latin for this type of stupidity is called ad hominem.

Men have it worse in aspects they can generally control. Like more men are jailed. Because more men commit crimes. More men commit suicide, because they are mentally weak and can't pick themselves up by the bootstraps and work hard for a better life. women get raped. they don't control what shitty men rape them.

What about things like porn addictions, or child porn distributions, or things of the like? That's a men's problem. And what about rape? Yes women rape too but it's majority men.

yeah i actually agree with your rebuttal, it makes a lot of sense. The only reason I drew any distinction is because to be good to another woman you are sharing your life with, it requires some amount of self sacrifice in money, energy, time, etc all of which could be used to better yourself. That's all. But I do agree with what you say.

i mean then FDS isn't as useful then. It's mainly focused on better men FOR women. Like the entire context is women trying to pick and choose which men are worth it for them. So when they describe a good man, it's in the context of a good man for them, a woman. Maybe it won't differ by a lot but I think a "good man" would differ from a "good man for a woman" by some degree for various people.

dude ikr. but personally i think the handbook says it all. i think the steps to be a HVM are pretty straightforward. 1) work hard and get a good career 2) while education/career requires ur utmost attention, focus on yourself, ie looks, self grooming, hobbies 3) be respectful of boundaries, DON'T be apathetic 4) be open 5) treat the woman in question as your equal or better

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
