It's very hard for me. But when I successfully force myself to be vulnerable and trusting (with my spouse, who I chose for myself, and hence made a decision that this is someone I'd trust), I feel more relaxed and happy. I went through a phase where I kept wanting to talk about it, and kept seeking reassurance, and that just created a really frustrating situation for my SO. It didn't really change anything for the better for me, and it only made things more frustrating for him. Aaaah.... My kryptonite.

Surely it's more than just that. Even breaking up with a boring friend wouldn't be described as so dehumanizing, would it?. Dehumanizing is a good word for how this woman apparently views men-- look at where she approvingly quotes the guy who describes himself as just a sperm bank + bankroll. Or where she says anyone who describes their husband as a best friend must not have any friends..........
