Thanks for taking the time to write this. I am sure it was not easy or fun.

Everyone else here already is saying what needs to be said. You had my sympathy before but you seem to be yearning for the destruction that lies ahead so I don't feel bad watching you charge ahead towards it.

I'm not a fan of commenting or telling others to drop a girl, but this thread has the right idea. I know we're only getting one side but it's a story we all know the ending to. I would get out now before she ruins your life for her own fun.

I'm extremely offended at the idea of someone comparing my girlfriend to a dog. My dog loves me way more than my girlfriend -- don't insult him that way. He didn't do anything to deserve that kind of comparison.

I can't think of a single man that would not give up every dollar he has for a longer time on earth when death comes knocking. Money and fame doesn't do shit to change that, and often times can make it far worse for you. No one will ever be able to take away the body you worked for except you.

I read this and it sounds like the exact kind of thing I think and would say to others. Even has a Aurelius quote. Former fatties like us know the difference. We can fucking feel it in our bones every day. Compared to where I've been the difference is night and day. People can't believe my old photos were me. They tell me it's time to stop or enjoy it with food, but I tell them I'm not stopping til I see shredded status. Threads like these make me feel so happy about the decisions I've made and …

Some men are unable to deal with it and become broken to the world of women. Others not so much. I accepted Stoic philosophy at my core and acknowledged Camus absurdity all the same and still choose the relationship route. I enjoy validation and devotion from one woman who at the same time openly encourages me to stay on the RP track and seek it from others. The best way to make sure RP isn't some cheap ass disguise you wear trying to get your dick wet is to have a 24/7 shit test constantly tryi…

There is no conspiracy here. Judd Aptow is blue and you are trying to trick yourself into believing some fanciful shit to entertain your own form of hamster. He married her and knocked her up and you're calling him red? Based on what? The man is fat, unkempt and slovenly. He has never been in a gym seriously and most definitely never touched a barbell. Aptow is just another blue guy living a life with money that gives him access to some trappings of alpha hood but no real substance. This movie w…

I'm so out of gaming that this post is how I learned about the remake. So of course I was flipping out with them in tandem. Yea, she just seems out of place.

RPW exists and women are indeed encouraged to post there, but I don't believe it to be against the rules. Anger phasers get mad at everything, but post that no one should be angry at women for acting in their natural state.

Preach. When I came to this realization about eight years ago in college it was like a thousand lightbulbs went off above my head. Betas need to understand no one wants to fuck a child

Sad to know Carlin saw it coming in his last days. He probably would be very disappointed. Carlin, the bomb throwing liberal comedian who everyone knew was fighting 'the system' of sorts would be hung and flayed alive for making his jokes. I mean, he literally joked about rape and made it funny. Could you imagine that happening today at a campus show?

That line made me really reconsider the weight I'm lifting what I'm really getting out of it. Tonight I think I'll lighten the load but really make the form perfect and methodical. Any advice regarding the post lift stretch part? Hadn't heard of that

My grandparents raised me when my feminist hippie nutbag mother couldn't hack it. Thank god for my grandfather. He's too stoic to even respond to my adulation with anything more than a gruff laugh and "I've had enough of this." Ninety five and still sharp. Memories of finding those photos of you with the naked island girls from the Navy will always make me laugh. "Well I wasn't married at the time." Gave me the red before I was ready but I'm glad he stuck around long enough to hear otherwise. Th…

Because humor is usually the best way to signal the discussion winding down without having to blatantly say it, like I am right now I guess -- but I can't write social cues.

Random thing that stuck out to me was recalling reading about how men gain their fat around their waist and women in their thighs. I figured women felt like it's fair to redefine beauty to allow for their disgusting fat since it's at least more attractive than belly fat. Have to say... was totally wrong -- that shit is just as awful as seeing some obese dude's flopping stomach working to escape his untucked shirt and jeans when I'm stuck on a train.

There's nothing that I dislike more than someone saying I missed the point instead of just acknowledging I disagree with it. No, I heard you loud and clear.

What if the men who tried to have a normal discussion, like friends, didn't rehash quotes to make a point?

I'll stop earning money when they put me in the fucking ground. Men don't need to become hysterical and give up the real power we have of industry for anyone.

...So basically what you're saying is that he had and has literally no power at all. Power is the ability to make others do what you want, and the strength to not care what others do since it's beneath you. He lacked power completely. Again, stop letting your feefees about science and intellectuals cloud reality. I'm working with some of the most brilliant people in tech and even I know better than to assume that intelligence is any indicator of power. If anything, the more naturally analytical …

Really? Hucksters and self flagellating fanatics control modern militaries and you think someone in a lab had power? He was talking in front of an audience of women, advocating for same sex labs, and his attempt to play their game and tell a joke got his ass handed to him. He didn't have to say anything and try and make them happy but he did and he paid for trying to supplicate for women. You're doing the classic trp cognitive dissonance of associating people you like with alpha qualities when l…

If you're moving anywhere for a job, you better be doing a lot more homework than just watching some PR videos. Strongly encourage everyone to find former employees in the role or department you'll be in and (with a big grain of salt) try and figure out what you're getting yourself into.

I have a feeling that the hordes of mediocre, generic, boring and flat people who have lives rotating around pointless trivialities can't stand the idea of anyone trying to be better than them. Like the crabs in a bucket analogy, mediocrity wants to breed mediocrity.

Personally had never realized how far my own handshake had come and how comfortable I was with it until recently. Really struck me recently at a house party for SF techies (more of the sports jackets than tight jeans). Having a proper man take a second to enthusiastically say 'Wow that is a solid handshake' and lament together the limp wrist and dead-fish was a great moment for me. I can totally imagine a younger me making some stupid remark about the whole practice but fuck him -- playing the g…

I saw that happen to guys over and over and over in the poly community. I saw this entire process play out with a girl I met in college on the train. She went through this exact process which is why I knew it by heart before reading. Seeing it up close it's like a trainwreck. You know you should look away, but you can't. Worse than that, she was cheating on him before #1. Step 0 was to get railed by someone else and decide to proceed to Step 1 in order to keep both going. Did I mention she was s…

Well done post, considering it felt like I was the only one who remembered the plots of all the other movies. Fury Road is no different. George Miller directs romcoms with Cher and tear jerker biopics. Mad Max was a fluke for him and something he just kept rehashing.

Probably a contributing factor. I joke with my SO about wanting a poop transplant teasingly, but you can't gross out vascular nurses who have literally had to lift the fat rolls of patients in a futile attempt to catheter them.

I'm willing to gamble it's much more of the former than anything. People with bad habits teach others bad habits because they either don't care or don't know better. Or maybe they care and know better, but they're just god damn lazy.
