That's what was said in the posted image So we can only discuss the literal wording of whatever is said, and raising any deeper questions of why it was said, is irrelevant to you? That's an awfully mechanical world view. Try some nuance very now and then. Again, you are generalizing to avoid the main focus here that is the aforementioned posted image, everything else is irrelevant. Focus my man, focus. Hey, I'm just responding to your own points. If you think that's off focus, that's on you.

At what point in the article does it state, or even imply (with the exception of a very clearly exaggerated statement about Uber), that all men are like this? I'm not denying they exist, but people who believe that "all men are rapists" are extremely rare and are not taken seriously by anyone except those in their own tiny clique. The article is not talking down to men. It's talking down to *some* men. Did you even read the article?

Automatically assuming the other as an asshole I never said this is the case, and do not believe it so. very immature and dare I dare to say malicious way of showing support, especially if when it's not at all necessary to antagonize someone else to show support to a close friend. Whatever you may think of the approach, isn't really relevant. Maybe this is true, maybe it isn't. The fact remains, it's an attempt to help your friend, by telling them what they want to hear, in a scenario that only …

Then the article clearly isn't aimed at you? As the intro should make clear Are you a man confused on how to treat the women you work with? Do you feel like if you can’t say or do \anything** you don’t know what to say or do at all? So why do you care? Unless you believe the *entire* population understands sexual harassment perfectly, which would make you even more ignorant than I thought, why tf would this bother you?

Obviously not as I stated in the second paragraph and is very obvious in the posted image. When the dude says that every girl will assume the guy is asshole. Now I'm even curious, is that what you consider being a decent human being? Isn't it obvious that when people do this they're just trying to be good friends? Breakups are very emotional times, and people often need support. These women don't automatically assume this man is in the wrong. They're just being a good friend. Only someone with t…

Have you ever come across a car that has feelings, and a lie of their own, and that there's a good chance you'll spend the rest of your life in 24 hours a day contact with?

those are certainly all words It's another case of women are wonderful effect. So you take this example of women being decent human beings to each other, and attribute it to the "women are wonderful" effect? Is this effect literally you just admitting that women are wonderful? About the so called patriarchy, now you are just being dumb. Why would you call patriarchy something that shifts undeserved blame and responsibilities from a woman to a man patriachy? Perhaps because the effects of the pat…

This is actually an interesting point that myself (as not at all MGTOW) can get behind. Why do you think it is that women receive so much more support than men when going through a breakup, or other misc. traumatic/emotional event? It's because the patriarchy (of which I'm sure you deny the existence) teaches men to be unemotional, cold and distant. After all, that's the strong and masculine thing to do, no matter how damaging it is (why else do you think it's gained the name toxic masculinity?)

Perhaps you find it 'garbage' because it's purposefully patronising towards people who don't understand the very basic ideas of harassment i.e. you? Btw I'm a man in case you misunderstood (think that was your implication?)

Have you ever considered that maybe raising children alone is actually quite difficult and expensive? Much more so than any paternity payments you'll have to make

I love how all the comments here are just complaining about the article being "insufferable" w/o tackling anything said on the article

You can't just respond with "you're simply ignorant - you don't know the facts" without presenting any kind of counter. That's not an argument. You're the one who's ignorant. You see how easy that was? Not mentioning one issue, when tackling another does not at all mean you don't care about, or support the issue at hand. You didn't talk about male suicide rates. Does that mean you "100% support" male suicide? And for every feminist on the fringe who does support the circumcision of children, I c…

That's because male circumcisions are (fairly) rare in Africa, compared to say the US, and FGM is objectively much worse than male circumcision. This was a case of picking your battles.

You'd struggle to find a single feminist who supported circumcising children, I'm sorry

Ummm a child is defo asleep, or at school for more than 14 hours a week. I suspect you just made that up the spot

Does this not support the feminism? Women being forced into unpaid domestic labour, whereas the man gets paid for his labour?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
