Even more if you wish to provide a middle class living for your kid. If memory serves, the average cost was around $380,000.

Condoms break quite often. While it's up to the man to get condoms that properly fit to reduce breakage, know that only using condoms prevents pregnancy about 70% of the time. Also, women can spermjack from used condoms. That's why you always take your used condoms with you.

Nah, this is just an alt account for FalloutFan2. The guy thinks he's building a brand, so he labels all of his threads even though thread authors are clearly visible. Nothing wrong with alt accounts, but I sure hope the quality of his threads increase.

They're still people, so I remain civil. However, I've found that I'll unload my full opinions when sufficiently aggravated. Naturally, this has led to some alienation between a few friends and I.

Look at what they do, not what they say. You're right, though, a ton of single mothers on there looking for a walking wallet. Hell, plenty of others unabashedly demanding the "queen" treatment as well as hand outs.

Something else to tack on to this; plunging sperm counts and lower testosterone. Those can be easily explained by our diets, lack of exercise, and the sheer amount of estrogen mimickers along with other damaging compounds in our air, food, water, and other various products. While still significant, gynocentrism overall has less of an impact on birthrates than the aforementioned root causes.

There's little you can do to prevent a divorce, so you can only take steps to protect yourself. However, I've only ever heard of one strategy that prevents your assets from being taken from you; have them all in someone else's name. Avoiding alimony is tougher, and requires considerable planning. Depends on the state, but you would have to be earning way less than your wife for an extended period of time. Child support? Well if you have kids you should be paying for them regardless of the circum…

And? My contributions barely fill a page, but you'll probably belittle me for having such an infinitesimal karma score. I'll let you in on something; do you really want to know what a karma score of 70+k attained in a bit over a year says to the common man? "This man clearly has little else to do." Seriously, get to hammering some steel for a change.

I'd appreciate if anyone could answer a few questions I've had regarding Bitcoin: How is it not a fiat currency? Is it because there is a hard cap on the amount of Bitcoins there can be? Does it derive it's worth from the "work" required to mine them or is it merely all speculative? In the past our currency was tied to physical assets (specifically gold and silver), but it seems Bitcoin is only tied to the intangible blockchain; not much different than our currency currently being backed by "goo…

That's the one. Not even true, and the cuck of a teacher goes on to say something like ”This country was built on protest.” A true statement, however given the current political climate and the context of that scene it's saying ”Hey kids, get out there and protest."

Unpopular opinion, but i don't think women are cut out to be LEOs. So many times the women either get easily tossed aside or fall back on the men to do the job. Tonight's episode was yet another example; male cop pulls up on a guy who begins resisting, female cop comes in and basically starts nagging the suspect while trying to subdue him. All the suspect did was barely push her aside and she's out for the count with a sprained wrist while the male cop had to run down the suspect. I respect thos…

MGTOW is a decentralized idea that is incapable of being quelled for good. However, that doesn't mean circumstances will be easy for those who choose to go their own way. Personally, I don't see outright violence against followers of MGTOW in the future. Increased shaming language is undoubtedly assured. Beyond that, whether society decides to incentivize coupling or impose further taxation is anyone's guess.

I've done it for you twice already in the past. Also, people have provided you links to the data seven times in this post alone. Is it because the data doesn't conform to your worldview that you continue to reject it? What is it that drives you to constantly turn a blind eye to the data?

Quite a few people seem able to navigate the studies posted on the CDC's website; they've even posted the relevant numbers in this very thread. As far as being concise, a table is about as concise as you can get. So what trouble are you having understanding a table that says marital disruption has a 36% chance of happening after 10 years? Here's the thing about deflecting blame; you've had the real numbers provided to you multiple times, yet you still post the wrong ones. Why? While SB are wrong…

Ovendice, once again you drum up false statistics from the same source. By my count, you've made threads using this data at least three times since I've begun perusing this subreddit. I also noticed you never provided a link to the original study, like I asked, the last time you posted this. Judging from your comment history and the fact you refuse to actually find verifiable data, I can only conclude you don't want to see the true figures so you can justify your perpetual "anger phase." I've no…

Ovendice, do me a favor and find the actual study that corroborates those numbers. Obviously those stats come from the CDC, so it should be very easy to locate the published data.

Seriously, just go to the CDC's NSFG page. There should be an alphabetical list on the left side; find the letter "D". Scroll down to find a nice table describing chances for disruption in first time marriages. If that's not enough, you can actually go through all of the CDC's published studies involving divorce (as I have done) to come to the conclusion that Statistic Brain are lying. None of the studies done have numbers even breaking 55% for first time marriages. People who get married multip…

Once again, seek out the hard data! It's actually 36%. Quite disappointed in TFM for not following through on a source. Then again, these kind of inflated numbers get people to watch his videos.

Indeed. A 32% chance of having your livelihood completely destroyed should make any rational man really question the worth of marriage.

More than likely the stats are coming from Statistic Brain. Here's the thing, that site only says the CDC is the source without linking to anything. Why? Because those stats are false. On the CDC NSFG site, the stats clearly say the chance of divorce for a first time marriage is 32% after 10 years. Seriously, people need to stop taking these sources at face value and actually scour for hard data.

No commitments. Our time and money are our own; you do you, I do me. For health reasons, partners/lovers/etc. seen outside of our arrangement should be made known to each other. Regular testing will be required. Those are my rules in the broadest sense. However, a good practice would be to explicitly mention scenarios that would terminate your arrangement; interference with your hobbies would be an example. More often than not, a woman will somehow justify an action that she believes doesn't inf…

I communicate what a new girl can expect from me as early as possible; no need to waste each others time. Some women abhor the rules then move on, some "respect" them and stick around. I say "respect" because a few of the women I've been with follow the rules for a varying amount of time before testing their limits. Failure to abide the rules results in a swift exit; can't give them an inch at all. However, the rules also apply to myself. Every so often I'll start catching "the feels" for a girl…

Easily found on the CDC's NSFG page. Yes, the likelihood that you'll get divorced increases with the duration of a marriage, but it doesn't reach over 50%. I can only surmise that people here are trusting this terribly cited piece of statistics. Confirmation bias, perhaps?
/r/MGTOW14/10/16 08:23 AM

Averaging all divorces kind of skews the statistic a bit. First time marriages have a 32% chance of divorce by 10 years. Sure, we may have a 1 in 3 chance of divorce by 10 years, but after considering the potentially fatal consequences of divorce, how could a man willingly go through with marriage? You're essentially playing a game of Russian roulette with two cartridges loaded in the cylinder.

One doesn't necessarily need to be "swole," but a healthy lifestyle should be sought. Personally, I'd rather prolong mobility and independence than be part of the Wilford Brimley club. In the end, brother, the path is yours to choose; we are merely opinions.

As MGTOW, why should we even concern ourselves with a woman's n-count? N-count is only important when considering a LTR or marriage; both prisons in the eyes of MGTOW. Naturally, that leaves us to decide whether to continually "pump and dump", "spin plates", or forego relations with women altogether. Whatever the choice, remember this: "She'll never be yours, it's only your turn."

This statistic was brought up before and I'm afraid it's false. The CDC's own website claims a 32% chance of divorce for first marriages by 10 years before raising to 40% by 15 years. Don't make the same mistake I did by trusting a terrible citation.

I'm afraid I must address my previous assumptions, something still didn't seem right with the presented data. I admit I did a disservice by not following through in seeking out the original data; I simply trusted the collected data was accurate. While the site you've mentioned states the data came from the CDC's NSFG, there is nothing on the CDC's own site that corroborates this statistic. For one, the site you've linked mentions the research was conducted in February of this year. Scouring thro…

I find it rather farfetched the divorce rate would be so high in the given frame of time. Could you please cite your source? Searching on my own has yielded results regarding women winning primary custody of children in a divorce, not the divorce rate itself.

An oft-repeated statement within this sub is the inherent subjectivity present in the concept of a man going his own way; your path forward will certainly differ from mine. Regardless of the path chosen, though, we should make it a priority to continually shed light on the potential perils that face men today and allow them to make their own informed decisions. As to the presented manifesto, expecting substantial change by merely reforming a few laws and ending the "War on Boys" is rather ideali…

The natural state of the universe is devoid of purpose without the human mind to conceive of the concept. We are free agents, gentlemen. As such, we must forge our own purpose. Whatever those purposes may be, I recommend that we each include to not leave our fellow men adrift. The machinations society have fabricated continually corrode the reason of many men; we can serve as a guiding influence.

All friendships have some level of "vapid shit" attached to them. Of course, there is a limit to what is acceptable and those who are consistently a detriment to your life should be let go. However, maintaining the worthwhile relations can provide more than business connections. As an example, you can meet like-minded people who introduce you to other hobbies. I can only partially agree with the whole "society needs married/successful men" angle; prolonging society really boils down to bearing progeny. Marriage and success are not required to have children, although I will concede a "successful" man will raise a child into a contributing member of society. Now as to why a negative view of bachelorhood exists, I believe that stems from a false perception that bachelors only serve themselves. We're aware that a bachelor—or anyone—can potentially have a …

Undoubtedly a subset of people will seek out sex robots to fulfill their needs, but in the end people are people; children will still be born. What should be considered, though, are the consequences male contraceptives and ever-improving artificial wombs will have on our society.

Perhaps I am jumping to conclusions, but was your experience awkward because you perceived your peers casting judgement upon you for being single? You've made it clear to us that you're prospering. Continue to prosper, and care not what your peers think of you; you're accomplishments speak volumes. As to forgoing future social gatherings, I would advise you to continue attending them. Over the course of years I've become increasingly fatigued by trying to play the "game." Little success came from substantial effort, and after enough failures I began questioning the "why" behind my quest. While I am equally to blame for those failures, it's hard not to see how the odds favor the house. So now I've reached a stage where I understand I am only interested in sex with women, but am not willing to play a "game" to get it. Admittedly, the yearning for the blue pill fantasy of a fore…

Once upon a time I sought to achieve what many have thought—and still think—the apex of their existence should be: the Nuclear Family. I bought into the fairy tale cliché of living happily ever after. Not until I experienced a string of failures did I begin to question the why behind my journey. Much time was spent ruminating over why I even wanted my own Nuclear Family. I get where you're coming from Thodgy; seeing a lot of anger directed towards women every time I come here is rather tiring. However, I surmise that a majority of men here are experiencing the so called "anger phase" and are merely venting. Perhaps I've not fully immersed myself in the PUA and TRP subreddits, but the most profound thing I took away from each was a focus on being your best self. Where I diverged was the application; I'd rather not base my worth on how much of a slayer I am. That being said, some tactics used by these PUAs can actually be effective. You bring up some fair points: -Men are disposable; men willingly and sometimes forcefully sacrifice for a subjective greater good. -Historically, men have been providers. -Successful suicide attempts for men are higher than women. I have no grievance with these since I've both read and personally experienced enough to come to these conclusions on my own. However, I take slight umbrage with your "scientific" claim that women do not reciprocate equal amounts of love to men. I won't argue that wom…
