I am at a similar place in my life OP. I think that lifting is where the process of achieving solutions to the issues you describe starts. Diet, sleep schedule, tracking progress, mobility/soft tissue work, expanding your fitness knowledge, coming to an understanding of your own body, mental toughness - it takes a lot of effort across multiple fronts if you really are sincere in achieving results. Start there, just focus on your building your physique for the next few months. Make your quitting …

I would save all that you can while living with your parents. Hit the gym hard, and ideally acquire some sort of sales job, or a position in a sales and marketing department at a stable company. Then you'll have the skills, knowledge, and capital to start a wider variety of businesses with higher barriers to entry.

A lot of advice offered by TRP rests on turning inward, focusing on yourself, becoming immune to all the nonsense out there in the world, letting go, enjoying the decline, etc. However I can't help but observe a lot of the major political, social, economic problems (taboo ones and not so taboo ones), and feel compelled to take action and fight back in some way. How can I reconcile these things? Am I doomed to live knowing what I know about where our civilization is heading, and also knowing that…

I know exactly what you mean about the legs.

All right gentlemen of TRP. I seek your help and counsel on this matter. I’m pretty young and inexperienced, but I’ve got height and looks on my side, and I’ve been spending my summer playing the numbers game to try and get more pussy in my life. I’ve been matching well on Bumble, partly due to the fact that I have listed my occupation as “Financial Analyst” (not really, though I am a finance major in uni – still have one more year though). I’m only in town for another month, and am looking stri…

In this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gcr4aVLHaXI), Eric Bugenhagen, an experienced natty lifter, recommends Bulgarian light (pick one or two compound lifts and work up to a 1RM every day for a 2/3 week cycles) for advanced as well as novice lifters. I'm wondering what some of the experienced TRP weightlifters think of this strategy for weaker lifters, and more particularly the merits of very low reps (sets of 3, 2 or 1RM's) in relation to size and strength gains.

I saved this post from a guy who posted about a month ago. Son't have his username, all credit to him: "So, how do YOU, the average Joe who has never sold, do this too? Memorize the steps to a sale first and foremost. Read as many books on sales as possible. Ones that have stuck out to me are; how to master the art of selling, sell or be sold, anything by Joe Girard/Guinness book most cars ever sold/highest paid retail item sales rep of all time, how to sell anything to anyone, and anything else…

As a current college student at a large university I can attest to this. We are generally more immature and undeveloped, perhaps due to having grown up for our entire lives surrounded by the abundance of a first world country.

I'm 6'5, 190lbs, smallish frame guy. What would you say is an ideal BW for me to aspire to?

I know that its been said before that the more beautiful, model-type women can be less experienced/more receptive to approaches because of the buffer that their 'scaring dudes off effect' provides, and have a question for older/more experienced guys in that regard. What would be your estimate for how often a really attractive girl responds more positively/more shyly/even more awkwardly due to their expectations of not being approached/talked to by men very often? Is that sort of claim about them…

Do you think their insecurities can extend to "i'm really not that attractive" or "i'm ugly" despite them presumably being told they are beautiful from a very young age?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
