7	Austrian medical school entrance exam being dumbed down a second time to make it more "gender fair" because women are still scoring lower. There's still mandatory military service for men in Austria. If you don't want to be a soldier, you can opt to do civil service instead. Now, I'd wager that a lot of men who aspire to be doctors would choose civil service over military, or at least train as a medic in the army, thus resulting in many of them having 6 or 9 months experience in the medical field before taking the test. One of the first things I learned at Uni: Before measuring something, make sure you know what you want to measure; When measuring something, make sure you know precisely what it is you're measuring; Very often even experts - especially in the social sciences - don't know what it is they're measuring.
