I'm in Phx but graduated college (not ASU). Might be able to find people on an ASU FB page or something? Or just walk up to a random stranger and introduce yourself!

Seriously though, go for it. As a girl, if someone asked me out at work, i'd feel comfortable because i'd be on my home turf, if you will. GO GETTER!

Ok well 100% do not leave a voice mail. If you want to ask her out, ask her in person. Do not say "can we talk about something important?". That will just make her uneasy not knowing what it is about. So, I wouldn't give warning. Just make it out of the blue :)

Ahhh ok that makes more sense. Yeah, make her feel wanted. Girls like to be chased and pursued. If she feels like you desire to see her and she's wanted, that'll help for sure :)

Hmmm. My best friend does this sometimes. She's a nursing student and even if she is interested in someone, school comes first. So it could be that this girl you're talking to truly is just busy. However, some girls don't know how to let someone down so they keep rescheduling. Best way is to just be direct with her and ask. Most girls appreciate directness

Oh trust me you're not alone! I'm 22 and moved to a new city, haven't really made any friends. Even before that I didn't have many friends. I currently have 1 best friend and that's pretty much it(sadly we live in different states). I am not socially awkward, I'm fit, successful, driven, and a fiercely loyal friend...But I think maybe I'm just picky with people I chose to be friends with? I even have a BA Degree in interpersonal communication studies....I literally majored in talking and interac…

Depends. I don't think it is necessarily needy or weak. Most women probably appreciate being missed when they're absent from your life temporarily.

As a woman, I really appreciate when my SO is straight with me and vulnerable about what he is dealing with. Most women have a natural "nurturing" desire and we want to be there for our men in anyway they need us. So if you are straight with her and open up, I think it would not only bring you closer, but it would show her that you are capable of opening up and trusting her with this information. I recognize you haven't dated long, but life happens and you can't run from it. You never know, mayb…

I think something that has helped me is to affirm myself verbally. Having positive self talk. Especially about your character. What do you like about yourself as a person? What can you work on? Play a song that is motivating to you and makes you happy. Remember that there is only ONE you in the entire world, and that is awesome. Set a daily goal before yourself to achieve. Little things like this help me remain confident. And best of all, never compare yourself to another, you will never be some…

I'd also suggest talking to him directly instead of all of reddit about this. Every guy is different. I asked mine directly because we are just direct communicators and I know him well enough to know he isn't trying to pick up on women. It is better to just be straight with people.

My boyfriend has been subd for years. I don't think it is about "how to get women" necessarily. It is more than that. It can be to boost confidence, even help with job interviews. It's helpful and teaches how to set yourself apart from others and be above and beyond. Doesn't mean he is trying to "pick up" women or seduce another girl.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
