Dancefloors are often bad places to approach, noisy, dark, people are often focused on their own group. IMO nearby smoking areas and bar areas are great for striking up conversation (what are you drinking, nice outfit, can I borrow a lighter, what's the time, etc) If you must approach on the dancefloor, Do: Learn to dance - even basic two step Actually have fun or at least look like it Look for invitations to approach or 'dance your way in' Know your setting and work within it - college bar vs r…

Lose virginity - meant nothing. slightly less pressure but mindset shifted from 'not had sex' to 'not having enough sex' Bad sex - realised that one ONS didn't teach me anything 1st long term FWB - sex and relationship training arc No more settling - Although I was strict about texts and dates (e.g. girls cancelling last minute or time wasting), if I was drunk and horny in the club I would drop my standards. I was subconsciously holding myself back by going for 'easier' pulls I didn't feel were …

I'm a strong advocate of the whole work on yourself, inner game, social circles, dating tips style of seduction but the classic PUA stuff from back in the day still holds a place in my heart. Having to whip out a dictionary to understand all the slang/acronyms, rolling my eyes and cringing every other line but somehow rounding off with solid advice. Love it

In my eyes how you treat someone whom you don't need anything from or is 'beneath you' is a good judge of your character. See also: service staff, homeless, animals etc. Ghosting is plain rude and shows a lack of respect for other people tbh. The sign of a poorly raised person. There's a reason children are told treat others how you want to be treated Matched on a dating app - Yeah no need for a long message. One or two dates - gray area but still shit behaviour, takes 2 mins to send a message. …

Cold approach at the local convent I can't speak on girlfriends as that's one area I lack experience in. So now at that FWB ultimatum stage "so, what are we?" I'm seeing it through longer than i would have in the past. Always been a commitment-phobe but coming round to the idea of casually dating people

So true about women liking older guys. At 18/19 I looked like a scrawny 15 year old. Had girls my age laugh in my face at the club asking if I'm old enough to be there. Then finished puberty for real, packed on a bit of muscle and seemed to rapidly age a decade to look like a mid-20s male, was a night and day difference.

A lot on here don't like texting but it's a good way to build or maintain rapport in between dates. For flirting in person, during the conversation things like style, music, hobbies it's easy to complement or comment playfully. I'm naturally a class clown type so I often use teasing, deliberately misunderstanding what they say, sarcasm, accusing them of coming onto me. This sounds dumb out of context and a lot will depend on your style of communication but basically make sure you aren't too pass…

I was a 'get it out the way person' but it didn't really improve my self worth. Lost it on a one night stand and first thing I realised is absolutely nothing changed. I went from a virgin with no game to had sex once with no game. Virginity isn't all it's made up to be in society. If you are a person who values it highly then imo put yourself in positions to secure a FWB or girlfriend/boyfriend. Internally - confidence, self worth, inner game. Externally - Gym, looks, style, haircut. Socially - …

Before college: 0 First few years of college: 1-2 Later years of college/20s: 5 As I got more experience you stop caring about body count and I fully stopped caring after I hit 20. The main improvement was more confidence and experince to seal the deal in certain situations. Also significantly improved the standard of the numbers. I now have a genuine abundance mindset, much better self worth and am especially happy they aren't always situations involving alcohol. One night stand is still fun bu…

Since I think I look ugly, some others have told me I also look ugly, others have told me I don't look that bad, my mother has told me I am the most beautiful thing that was ever created. A lot of confusing opinions. You know what, maybe I could send you a picture of my face and you judge ugly or not if that's okay with you Why bother wondering if you're ugly or not, where will that get you? Also completely agree that the normal guy mindset. If I'm 'average' someone else is 'better' which is just wrong because I'm the main character in my life. Healthy competition and comparison doesn't hurt but I know my dating life and insecurities improved once I stopped the dickmeasuring and worrying about things I can't change. I even have friends who do well seduction wise but are deeply insecure and unhappy because they relentlessly compare themselves to others. Unfortunately it's a self defe…

men have it 10 times more difficult when it comes to finding a relationship than women. We have to put in immense amounts of work into ourselves and will still end up striking out more times than not. Meanwhile women can just practically sit there and have relationships come to them. Depends on the relationship. For sex or something casual, it's true men have it way harder. e.g. just open Tinder as a dude. It's not uncommon that guys often start ghosting once they 'get what they want'. Women gen…

Seriously, everyone knows (or has been) the guy who texts for a month, finally finds to courage to ask her out and she says "Sorry I just don't see us that way". Maybe they never had a chance but it's far easier to talk yourself out of a date than into one. OP or anyone reading this shouldn't take this sub's advice as gospel. As with anything the truth is probably somewhere in the middle and depends on the situation

Recently with Online Dating I'm leaning towards the opposite. If you match and are exchanging messages every 3-8 hours it's very easy for the conversation to fizzle out. Most girls have their apps muted so after a few days they might stop bothering to wade through all the matches. You eventually ask for a date/number a week later and get flaked on. Initially it can sometimes be better to be a bit 'keen', reply within 2 hours and maybe catch them while they're in the mood to chat. Then once that …

While you personally might not like it, there are others who don't mind. For every 30 or 40 who ignore or give a number to brush them off, there is often one who is interested. Similar to your perfume analogy, the shops wouldn't send people out if there was a 0% success rate. I guess it comes down to if the guys approaching are respectful and take a hint which unfortunately isn't always the case. I'm not sure I'd outright say guys shouldn't approach girls in public based off of that. But more ed…

As someone who doesn't 'cold approach' for the exact reasons you listed above, I would agree that generally women don't won't to be approached irl. However I would say compared to the other methods of meeting people, a guys chances aren't that different. The average guy can swipe 100s of people on tinder and maybe get 1-3 solid matches a week if he's lucky. Meanwhile if the same guy he approached 50-100 people he gets similar results, maybe even better. Plus here he at least gets to choose who h…

You don't need to next her straight away like some others are saying. If she's still replying she's still somewhat interested. Mixing in wishywashy stuff to hide the question is self defeating. Be clear, and suggest a time/place. Only if she is unavailable would you then ask what works for her. It's annoying if you're someone who doesn't like to make decisions but you just got to suck it up and take the lead. You can ask her again and make it so she can't dodge the question. If she rejects you t…

Three ways: Most likely through a dating app, you explicitely stating you want something casual. Talk, flirt, hook up. - I personally don't like this as it's very direct. Even girls who want something casual will avoid overt fuckboys unless they're very attractive. It can work though just don't be too obvious. You go on a dating app/meet people and are open to anything. After a couple dates you hook up but eventually realise a relationship is unlikely due to reasons (feelings, values, logistics …

Dating is pretty stressful for everyone, girls might not have to approach or message first but they do have to sift through a lot of shit. She might have been busy with school/work/etc or maybe just unsure about you. Often they'll be flaky because their mental guard is up, is he insecure and will he get angry/ditch me after one slight? You lose next to nothing double texting in a few days later with a follow-up and it even shows you are just a chill and understanding person. The number of times …

It was definitely her lashing out in embarrassment. Thought i was all for her then hears from others that I'm also playing the field. Failing to realise her hypocrisy, apparently it was okay for her to sleep around but not for me to even kiss anyone else.

Some people just like attention. Once, this girl from my friend group had gone home with another dude when we were all clubbing together. Days later we end up chatting and flirting and she was badmouthing him to me (in hindsight a big red flag but I was just looking for a hookup). Days later on another night out I end up making out with different girl we all know, think it's no big deal. Girl 1 suddenly invites me over the next day. We end up in bed but she suddenly brings up this other girl "wh…

I don't think it has to be strictly logistics, it depends what you want out of this. Sometimes you can have a back and forth or funny convo, share funny memes whatever. But if her chat really is as dry as the Sahara then as others have said spread it out, maybe hours later or even the next day. It's a problem nowadays that everyone expects you to reply instantly just because you have a phone. Girls especially seem to love persisting with boring, constant conversations. I don't know if it's to di…

No, it's a bad idea. You might think it comes across like you're a busy player but they will end up thinking you're rude. By saying you're busy with another date you are essentially saying, "you're just another number to me, and tonight you are second choice". If a girl said that to you, you would most likely think nah screw this girl, I'm not wasting my time, I'm not a mug. What you should do is be honest but vague. If she asks if you're dating other people, you say yes - you just want to keep …

But other than the rarest of cases I don't buy this shit about 15 year olds looking in their 20s. Maybe if you stopped staring at girls tits and only imagining them as sexual objects you'd realise. these tips here are all quite effective for a one night stand. If you'll never see the girl again, she goes along with it, and you don't cross the line that its not that bad. But I hope there arent guys reading this thinking that all girls are the same and they can use this as a cheat sheet to talk any girl into sex. being this manipulative with a girl you'll see long term or share friends with is a recipe for disaster.

I'm assuming these people will be around your age. This is good as you'll have lots in common. You can talk about topics like where you live, college, music, your love life, fitness, other hobbies. Just basic stuff that's easy to elaborate on. 4 is almost a perfect number, each person can carry the conversation and elaborate. As you're the new person, you can drop some of your own anecdotes in. E.g. you ask them about their love life, then they ask you, you joke about your mum's obsession with f…

I misread the original post, I thought you were an older student doing a masters or PhD trying to pick up girls. This is so much worse, loitering around campus just to chat up younger girls is so weird. The fact you thought to lie about your intentions means deep down you know that. I can easily see a scenario where you approach someone who doesn't want to be approached or someone will see you standing around. In addition to what others have said, maybe ask someone honestly if you smell. A lot of people have BO or bad breath and don't even realise, and never get told as people want to be polite. Sometimes it's not even just showering that helps, it's their clothes that stink and they can't tell.

In my eyes foreplay starts from the club. Once you have the logistics and an agreement to go back to her place or yours, now's the time to start thinking about going. There's a reason clubs at 3am are full of thirsty guys, all the girls have already pulled or gone home. I've made the mistake of thinking "It's only 1:45, I want to party some more". Only for the girl to get bored and go back to find her friends. Sometimes you have to prioritise, party all night, or pull. From when you leave, you h…

College is one place where it's really easy blunt force your way into making friends, you just need to put in the effort. Start of each year is key, no one wants to be a loner so everyone is open to making friends, especially compared to high school or the real world. You played yourself, don't ever play yourself... I can understand the struggle if it's barely 90 mins into the night so you don't want to leave. You can balance it, if a girl is that keen to pull, you can normally get her to hang around for a bit. You could have been like "I know the band, lets finish their set then bounce". Or in other situations in bars/clubs, you can chill, have a dance, maybe make out for a bit before leaving. Depends on how much you want to get that hook up, sometimes you h…

My friend would host parties and predrinks, get his friends to meet through him creating a 'spider web' around himself. Those friends would bring their friends and so on. He builds a solid group who know and like each other, revolving around him. He wouldn't be short of invites or girls to meet. Sometimes you need a different approach. I use it a lot, it's basically outreach and crucial to a good social life. This is a good option if you don't have a concrete group of your own to host parties wi…

I wouldn't over think it. She might have been on holiday, studying, or just sat eating mince pies and can't be bothered with regular conversations. Seeing as you won't see each other for a while, she's just popping in and out to keep the interaction going (barely), it doesn't seem like she's playing games. She voluntarily came back so she's somewhat interested, I would keep the conversation going and play it cool for now. More important is how she acts when you're in the same place, priority one…

Girls barely care about your physique. A good physique doesn't make you a catch. Your personality is far more important for your attractiveness. At best maybe being in good shape will help you get with someone in the club but you still need your game to carry you through on the night. After the night, a good physique won't save a girl dropping you if you've got no chat. Get in shape for the other benefits, but don't expect it to be a cheat code for getting girls.

There's the old joke, You start working out to get girls, instead you just get guys giving you nods of approval. Girls care about physique far less than guys do. As long as you're physique is within average (actual average, not modern day overweight average) it won't make a difference to 90% of girls in the long term. However, some girls have a type. That type could be stocky, it could be a lean stickman, or could be Zyzz himself. Unless you look like Popeye, no one will turn you down purely bec…

Snapchat isn't as serious as texting. People have all their friend circles on snapchat, but the fact hardly anyone texts almost makes it more legit that you two are. Realistically, if a girl wants to text instead of snapchat, just text. That doesn't mean you can't still send her pics and videos when you want (and vice versa). She might want to save her data. The best person to have in your group of guys is someone who goes in loud, especially if you're a bit shy. They came over to the group arms out, often shouting, being high energy getting the girls dancing with them. Then you use that opening as a mario kart slip stream to place yourself with the group. From there, flirt, dance, maybe chat if you can with the one you like. If she likes you enough she may be willing to make out with you there or isolate herself from the group if you initiate it. (…

Popular things are popular for a reason, just because they like something common doesn't mean they're following the crowd. It's almost pretentious to write off all these potential people by placing them in a box, just because on a date they can't list their deepest passions off the top their their head. This kind of 'counter-culture' edgy girl is incredibly rare and has probably been built up too much by TV and movies. The reality is likes overlap, someone may like something mainstream like foot…

I will say be careful about being too drawn into the whole one night stand allure with random people. It's often more fulfilling with people you know, even if i's a one off or only a thing for a few weeks. There's also the paradox, the more openly thirsty you are, the more it seems to work against you and so on. Don't hang to much of your enjoyment on pulling girls, making it the sole goal. I wouldn't sweat the inexperience dude. You'd be surprised how many people don't lose their virginity until uni. Especially if you simply lack the means and freedom during high school (e.g. parents who aren't ever going to let you have a free house) and it is less likely to go all the way with girls in school. I'd say having had a FWB for a while, I agree you're probably better than most who may have just had the odd drunken encounter. There isn't any need to hide inexperience, don't be afraid t…

Best and worst part of getting good with girls. Attractive girls (and guys) have a similar problem. People think they should have it easy, the opposite sex are throwing themselves at them. But it doesn't really help with building any meaningful long term connections. You've got the knowledge and experience, most important thing is now you know 'it' when you see it. Work on yourself until someone with that spark comes along.

With texting it's hard to gauge their current 'vibe'. They could be lying in bed bored, writing an essay, at work, having dinner with their parents, who knows. When your text comes in, if you're still in the early stage of seduction they could easily think "CBA with this guy right now, I might reply later on if I can be bothered". Completely depends on their mood. When you get that number they're in a high energy state, the next day they definitely aren't. What I would try to do is set up yourse…

I would say once you hit the early 20s its a problem if someone can't figure out dating or sex. By then people have left school, most have encountered the opposite sex in life or university. Doesn't matter if they're a virgin or not, if they aren't willing to learn or adapt inside and outside the bedroom then it won't end well. People are mature enough to drop that relationship and not waste any more time. As for virginity it only becomes a real black mark at maybe 30. Someone may be surprised a…

Switch to Physics or Engineering... In all seriousness, it depends what you're looking for. If its a hookup or potential FWB, nights out are the way to go. Go to a house party or student night out, dress nicely and either wait to be approached or strike up conversation with a guy you like. From there you don't have to do much, just make really obvious signs and he should take a hint. Nothing wrong with being smart and polite but a lot of stereotypical Asian guy problems will be the same as any guy. Not escalating, or building kino and a good rapport are common problems for any guy. I won't lie, minorities do often have to break past someone's initial reservations (especially if it's online dating). Girl can very easily say one thing and deep down mean something completely different. You two have lived together and been close, so an emotional connection is there. As she made clear in her message, there is probably no romance. Also, if you try to escalate and she turns you down, it could be slightly awkward. However, you two are going to be hanging out alone on holiday for a few days. A evening glass of wine or two, you two snuggling on the couch, who knows. You go from siblings to something…

nofap is some severe extrapolation and exaggeration. Acting like it gives you special powers, like you're extra enlighted because you haven't fapped in 2 years. What a load of nonsense. I'd say for a lot of people, it's a great idea, at least for maybe 1 or 2 months. Get you less reliant on masturbation and porn, more motivated to get out there. If you are always miserable, hooking up with a girl won't suddenly complete you and make you happy and whole. Improving yourself physically (gym, hair, clothes etc) is important. But most important is mental, get yourself to a level where you are fairly content with your life and have a good level of self respect. How many girls you've banged is not a viable measure of life success. You should be happy enough with yourself that you can know, that girl does and could want you. And if she doesn't?…

No, I'd say you don't need it. Online dating is way more in favour of women as they have an abundance of choice. Watch out for where the girl is using you to pass time when she's bored or to build her ego and IG following. If she asks maybe be like you don't use it anymore. And if you do have an account make sure it's on point, post quality is consistently high. In my experience it doesn't even need to be that often, say once a month. Texting and Snapchat are generally best used for building and maintaining light rapport, save your kino and escalation for the meet up. Don't keep initiating the convo, don't be super clingy. If she takes 5 hours to respond, don't do it in 10 mins. It might seem like she's lost interest but that's not important. She might be busy with school, work, ill, or just can't be bothered with constant snapping. Most important is you meet up and bring it, remind her why you clicked in the first place.

If it's a date or someone I've been casually messaging its like meh, oh well. I was more in it to see where it would go, there are plenty of others out there. The only time I properly care if it's a girl I really like, like girlfriend material. That rarely happens though as I go more for FWB arrangements. Also I'm pretty dead inside. However I'm not co…

I guess you're right, it's one of those ones. I always try to be cautious, as I said in another comment, I love sex but would rather not have them wake up regretting it. When you get loads of rejections and flakes. Even situations where we've clicked crazily on the night but get turned down for a follow up date for various reasons. Made you feel like I was doing something wrong in escalation especially in college where one night stands are fairly common. It's probably more down to bad luck (alth…

Thanks for the reply So by explain the on-off switch do you mean it's all or nothing? Or is it more that once you are declined (meet resistance) to one thing it completely turns you off?

I feel this is a good place to ask, a few times I've been hit with the "we aren't having sex". But instead of ending up doing the deed, we end up cuddling and then I'm left trying pursue for dates later on. Obviously this is hit and miss as the moments passed, they aren't in that mindset anymore so turn more flaky. Obviously I don't want to be pressuring anyone into sex but while everyone else is getting one night stands I'm often ending up as The Sexless Spooning partner, even after making out.…

This isn't about you man, as others had said she's obviously still processing this break up and doesn't feel comfortable being intimate with another person. Think of it in the sense that she wants to work on herself before linking up with someone else. Unfortunately for you (and probably her), she realised she wasn't ready midway through sex. If you're in it for casual hook up, look elsewhere. If you actually like her, my advice is to completely stop trying to hook up with her. However, still be…

Keep on doing what you're doing, see her regularly, build the sense of familiarity she has with you. However make sure you keep the attraction alive, keep up the seduction and don't just become stagnant and boring because you think you have the sex locked down. Do new things, go on exciting dates, pursue great sex and so on. You need to have a chat "what does she want out of this?" and be honest. Don't pretend you only want friends with benefits indefinitely. "I'm happy to take it slow but I lik…

Odds are she's not interested anymore but you could wait a while and call. If still no answer then write it off. It depends if you're willing to risk it and use this as a last gambit, chances are it will get you blocked. However if you have nothing to lose (no shared friendship groups, will likely never meet her again) then could be worth going for it. At the end of the day you've got to move on to the next one, plenty more girls out there.

IMO 3 messages isn't really enough to build a good rapport. A lot of girls (especially the shy ones) have their guard up on online dating and don't want to just hand out their number so soon without at least making sure you aren't creepy or weird. I find up to about 10 messages sent there's a natural point where you go for the meet up, she's now invested in you. If you've reached that point and they decline, then you're definitely wasting your time.

I haven't looked at the channel at all but the video on the front page of the subreddit yesterday seemed like good content and sounded Aussie. Might be worth looking into: https://www.reddit.com/r/seduction/comments/4kekxd/advanced_level_content_frame_battles_and_dealing/

It depends on the girl and environment, standard procedure is full on seduction, I approach, flirt, try for the number etc. This is the situation in most day approaches and environments. In a club or bar its a lot more likely to be even, probably the alcohol giving girls more courage. Sometimes I've had girls be forward and straight up approach, slap my ass, tell their friends they want to stay and go home with me (they were leaving) when we'd only just met so it does happen. More often than not…

You have to play it careful, you're right shitting where you eat is dangerous. Plus if you go for one and it goes south it can make it awkward for you and everyone in the dorm. Not to mention it could possibly make you off limits for the other girls if you go for one or even miss out on good friendships like someone else said. It up to you but know that if you go for one then the other 10 are probably now off limits plus potentially any friends they might have. May be better to play it safe, the…

To the UK or any other country where they will be old enough to drink. Or alternatively I've heard that mini-golf is a decent option for a date. Seems like it could be good, mildly competitive fun

Good write up OP, covers most of the important basics for a good profile. So far on Tinder I've managed 1 actual date which went well (kissed at the end). I've gotten a few numbers, built a decent rapport. However on at least 5 occasions when I go to confirm on the day or the day before, radio silence even after they've agreed on a day. Obviously this annoys me, especially if I've cleared my schedule. Why bother agreeing if you'll just ignore me, or at least cancel or decline. This is in additio…

If they ask you say it straight, you aren't looking for anything serious (i.e. exclusive) at the moment. If they don't ask, you can bring up the topic on the date, it's a valid question. By upfront you don't need to just drop it in there "I'm banging other girls". Use tact and it should be fine, girls aren't expecting you to say "let's be exclusive" on the first date.

Most boys and girls are up for the FWB especially at a younger age (like college). It works well, you enjoy sex without the commitment and stress taking up your time. However I've found they all have expiry dates of a few months at best. "I'm not looking for anything serious" said on the early dates always has an unsaid "right now" after it. It's not just girls but in my experience they are normally the first to decide the idea of sharing their man is no longer appealing to them. After some time…

I feel like a lot of guys get caught up with with the numbers game. Yes it's very important to build confidence and get out there. Problem is you can end up saying I approached X number of people without success or I got X amounts of numbers but they're all flaky and go no further. Detaching yourself from it makes it easy to move on but the interaction itself is still very important You need to analyse each approach and learn from it, maybe note done what went wrong and what was good and can be …

You really shouldn't have picked the cinema, it does nothing to build a bond. For a first date, drinks in normally a good choice. Casual setting in a pub or bar, alcohol gets you loose and the conversation flowing. You can even get food if neccessary but snack food like fries to share. I wouldn't recommend dinner, too formal and you've just met so eating in front of one another can be awkward. As for the second date it could be a good idea to arrange it on the first date. Also, too much texting …

Obviously the desired effect is the girl sees this, becomes a bit jealous and decides to be more assertive with her flirting to lock you down. However I find it can often lead to the girl writing you off as not being serious or willing to commit. Thinking she isn't special, you just see her as a potential sexual partner. I think a bit of light flirting can help make them jealous but too much flirting, moving from girl to girl and you can come across as desperate. Likewise, making out with other …

This is a good idea in theory but society and modern dating has men making the first move the vast majority of the time. It would be different if you were inviting them to your house, or hosting a party, then the you are the host so the burden is on you to pay. On a date however they are agreeing to go somewhere with you, a meeting between two equals. You wouldn't be going if they hadn't said yes so they should expect to split the bill (until later on in the relationship when you can start alter…

"The reason we struggle with insecurity is because we compare our behind-the-scenes with everyone else’s highlight reel.". Obviously this isn't really about insecurity but on point about the highlight reel applies. People only see the greatest hits of other people's lives, no one is remembering that one time someone tripped over or whatever. Even if they do, they really don't care. As long as you remember that you should be fine

A single mixer (rum & coke) is 25 ml of (40%) spirit. You need to know your limit and how much it takes to bring you to varying levels of drunkeness. If you do the majority of your drinks at predrinks, you can control it pretty well. If you're at home and only using one bottle you can draw a line on it to mark where you can't go over that night. If you're out already pay attention to how many you've bought and force yourself to stop or even get a friend to stop you. Or even only bring enough mon…

Fake it till you make it, don't mention your lack of experience except when you've finally gotten into bed and they ask (they'll know if they have any sort of experience). Don't joke, don't mention it, all it will do is make you look thirsty and desperate and the girl may even think you only want her for sex. As others have said, she'll start wondering why you haven't had any, maybe you're crazy or there's something wrong with you. Unless you're lucky enough to get a girl who may purposely want …

I definitely second this, also applies if you manage to get with a girl at the start of the night then stay conjoined for the next 2 hours kissing or whatever because you're afraid if you leave she'll vanish and you won't get that bang. Get her number and find her later on or tell her to ring you when she leaves. It will save you looking like a mug infront of your mates and you avoid any possibility of blue balls from a 2 hours make out sesh without escalation
