No. The things that made her become a single mother are still there, whatever they are. And even if the kid is dead, her memories of it will still be there and I would never be "part of it" and it would not bring us closer together.

When people talk about "normal" X, they don't think about the actual average representative of this group, they instead construct an idealized example of what they believe is or should be the average. So when someone says that "most women do Y" then the often heard response is "normal women don't do Y"
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 07:16 PM

"Normal" woman =/= "Average" woman

I'm learning how to play the piano, I try new stuff when cooking/baking, I got myself a pull up bar and a set of dumbbells and I try to do some work out 3x times a week. I'm also taking some protein powder and I'm on the right path to lose some fat and gain a bit of strength/improve my condition. I also went to a dermatologist to start working on my skin problems.

Push-ups only workout is stupid because you train only a few select muscles and are ingoring the rest. As for the pushup itself you can try other variants that push your shit much harder and let you train more effectively.

Travelling to places with a certain "reputation" when she was single. If a single guy told me that he went to Thailand I would be 50% sure that Thai hookers were at least one of the things he experienced there. Similarly, some places you also expect a woman to have hoed out there.

There's this girl I'm catching feelings for. My heart says 'yes', but my mind says 'no' 😫. I'm giving myself a bit of time to see if the feelings will pass, but if nothing changes I'll have to ask her out and have an adult conversation.

Imperfections on women's faces like freckles, scars, pimples and so on. The perfect smooth face, often with makeup added creates some kind of uncanny valley vibes where the person seems to be a too-perfect human.

/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/23 09:48 PM

But we are indeed animals and many of our desires and actions are caused by biological instincts. Women don't consciously decide that they are attracted to tall men, it is ingrained within them whether they like it or not. It does not mean that you have to act upon your instincts, but the primal desires are always there.

Some people can stay being "good" and still get dates, get married, etc. I don't deny that such people exist. But for some people behaving in such way would make it quite hard to succeed. And if a man really wants to find someone, then often it makes sense to choose the immoral way.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/23 08:06 PM

Is it morally wrong? Perhaps, I could agree with it. But does being moral result in you being successful in dating? Unfortunately not. Everybody would want the world to be a place where everyone is good and honest and acts morally. But the reality is harsh and doesn't care about your wishful dreams. Given the choice of being moral and utterly failing vs being immoral and succeeding then many people will choose the latter, especially if it comes to something as important as relationships. The people in political power being men is not the same as men being in power in general. For every male CEO you have hundreds of men who work the minimal wage, are homeless or are in any kind of position that doesn't grant them any power. There were only a few dozens of presidents in over 200 years and 99.9% of men could only dream of having such power.

/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 04:34 PM

I don't think either sex really prioritizes (or not) IQ, but rather things that are correlated with it. For example, IQ (if I'm not mistaken) predicts to some extent your job prospects and money earned. Richer man is obviously more attractive to all women, but a rich woman has increasingly higher standards and harder time finding a satisfying partner.

I hate food analogies but I will make one. Everyone has some favorite dish, but obviously they don't eat it every day. So when they eat something else do they feel that they "settle" or miss out by not having the best food they like? Clearly people enjoy eating a wide range of food but most of the time they aren't unhappy because of it. However, if a certain food is your staple for a long time and suddenly you have to eat something clearly worse then you are not really happy with eating and you …

The way topic is worded suggests the obvious scenario, but I would extend it to looking for a partner of specifically foreign origin. Because now you can also think about countries that are not economic shitholes or some wildly different passport destinations. A concrete example: Western Europe guys looking for a gf/wife in eastern Europe - there is a sizable portion of marriages that happen this way. So the guy going there has an obvious idea of a "traditional woman" not tainted by western dege…

I guess it could be some kind of reverse psychology fallacy. "The more I know about bad things about this activity, the more I believe that I will be able protect myself from these consequences because I'm smarter than the others" Similar to people investing in crypto because they think they are not chumps like the majority that loses money.

Because you think about it from a man's perspective where most women seem to be a fine choice for a dating partner. It isn't the case the other way around - women consider most men to be a bad choice for a dating partner, so the pool of 'acceptable' men is much narrower for men. Dating for the sake of dating is obviously easier for women, but chad-hunting not so much.

Men are naturally polygamous That's not exactly true. Its true that most animal species are polygamous but that doesn't mean that humans are as well. There are monogamous animals out there, e.g. klipspringer. When it comes to humans we are neither fully monogamous nor fully polygamous, we are somewhere inbetween. Also worth reading is the 2D:4D finger ratio.

Men should stop trying to justify their low n-count preference. Very often I'll see them stating that and then posting three paragraphs of studies and rationalizations and arguments. And this is why people and women don't like this. Just say that this is what you feel and end of the story. Subjectivity > objectivity in this case. Give them no point of attack or place for a counter argument. When women say they want a tall guy they don't start posting studies showing correlation with higher earni…

It does provide benefit in the form of adhering to the moral code and feeling of justice in the society. If you only care about the material benefit then the obvious conclusion is to not send anyone into the prison. I wonder how many female inmates get pregnant from this "socialization". Anyway, the purpose of prisons is to isolate and punish people. I'm very against the idea of turning prisons into some kind of hotel resorts on a moral level, because we are effectively rewarding these people for doing crime. Correcting these people should at most be a secondary goal, not primary. If women started following the low n-count principle then certainly some men end up unhappy, e.g. because no casual sex. Then you can argue that women's behaviour (even if caused by men) created some unsatisfactory situation. Also, at the end of the day it's women who actually choose who to have sex with and are by no means restricted by law in thus regard, so saying that men control women's sexuality is a bit misguided. We don't live in Victorian times anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/22 05:45 PM

You are free to argue that low ncount preference creates toxic femininity or something else.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/22 05:28 PM
5

Height is a core part of toxic masculinity. The idea that taller = bigger, stronger, better reinforces the idea that men should focus on physicality and continue the dominance hierarchy. Therefore, women who have a thing for tall men are directly encouraging and enforcing toxic masculinity which they then cry about later.

Relaxing the rules will lead to this sub becoming even more popular, with more people posting content of low quality, requiring more moderation, becoming a target for reddit jannies, etc. While the goal of the changes is sensible, the "unforeseen" consequences have to be considered.

The popularity of Tate, F&F, and all kind of RP content is the symptom, not the cause of the current situation. Banning Tate is just covering your eyes and pretending it didn't happen. There is a reason that this content gets an audience and it's just a matter of time before another guru pops out.

The betrayal is very different here. When a man learns that the kid isn't his he realizes that the woman - who he thought loves him and is considered a life partner - is someone who backstabbed him, it invalidates their entire relationship. A kid swapped at hospital doesn't cause the same feeling of deep, personal betrayal.

How often do you actually have to perform the "I'm a man" routine in your daily life? Because honestly, most of our time spent is just doing mundane tasks where our sex doesn't even matter. Like I was doing remote work that consisted of boring computer clicking and then I went grocery shopping. In the grand scheme of things we men do have harder lives, but it's not like every single day is some kind of torture.

Women on the dating subs always talk about how women in relationships are doing some kind of unpaid labor and emotional labor, etc. and that it's a justification of requiring men to pay for dates expecting them to be proactive and so on. I really have no idea what does Tate say about dating, women and stuff (I've only seen his retarded takes on cooking and reading books) and I don't really care. But I very much support what he does because a counterbalance to all the bluepill and gynocentrism is very much needed to make young men aware and not brainwashed. Obviously, parasocial relationships are basically always inferior to actual relationships, and people in these paraships would prefer if this thing evolved into a real relationship. If a woman is interested in a man she will let him know it in an obvious way - none of that "I'm sending him signals by twirling my hair". I met/befriended a few attractive guys and the way interested women interact with them leaves no doubt about their intentions.

Not exactly true, but it only works for short-term stuff. You can wear something fancy or a suit and be seen as having +1 to attractiveness, but the problem is that if you stop wearing it you immediately lose those bonus points and that can be the breaking point. You can't build a relationship upon nice clothes.

It's worth noting that the study focused on dieting motivation in partners. Anyway, "happiness" and "satisfaction" are very broad and hardly quantifiable things in context of a whole relationship. What does it actually mean that one relationship is happier than the other? Is it a 1-5 scale of how happy you are as a whole? Or is it just how do you feel about your relationship partner? Or is there a separate category for sex, stress, health, etc. and then only parts of it are extracted, or everyth…

Because it’s just sex. It doesn’t mean anything. That's not true. There are motives (conscious or not) behind all of our actions. If casual sex was something completely random like a flip of a coin then you would be right. But it's not - people who seek casual sex do so because of some specific reason, while people who do not seek casual sex don't do so because of a specific reason as well (ignore people who want it but can't get it). And understanding these reasons is a big clue to help figure …

I'm not telling people to stop having casual sex. I'm just saying that traits that make people seek casual sex usually make them to be suboptimal choice for stable long-term relationship. Also, tons of people who’ve had casual sex make long term relationships work every day And even more tons can't make it work. And if a person looks for an LTR partner, then why risk it? It's safer to go for a person that doesn't engage in casual sex.

As a general statement this is true and I don't deny it. However, in many cases people often start relationships just because they like having sex with each other. However, my point is that for men there is no love without sex. If a girl tells a guy that she loves him but she doesn't want to have sex with him, then the guy actually takes it as a proof that she doesn't actually love him. It's also the reason why men insist on having sex early in the relationship. "No sex" is proof of "no love" (b…

Your girl will even appreciate it since you will no longer have any hangups about the n-count and she won't call you insecure. This casual sex will happen before the proper relationship so it can be easily left as "past is the past".

Do you think people go for this type of content because they have nothing better to do (i.e. they are lonely losers) or do they get hooked up to it and as a result their life suffers? Are e-thots cause or the effect? I also tried to draw parallels to the drug addiction. Also, aren't e-thots the lesser evil compared to other addictions? As in, if we banned them from the internet would their fanbase drift into something even worse; that e-thots are an acceptable coping mechanism?

It's not that simple. It woukd be fine if the shaming was coming from a single person, but very often it becomes a group thing and you can end up with a social exclusion from some communities.

Of course prostitutes weren't the women who had the most children, but it doesn't mean that women don't have some naturally affinity to perform as prostitutes. If we go the AF/BB route then in case of BB the woman only needs the guy to be bonded to her and not the other way around in order to have someone who will stick around and provide for the child.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/22 09:27 AM

Prostitution is called the oldest profession of humanity. You can't be a whore if you catch feelings with every guy you fuck. And so women do have this inbuilt mechanism where they can zone out and deattach themselves from the guy they are having sex with. Also, why are you watching this shit?

Autism has been considered a spectrum for quite a while now. Someone with assburgers is also considered autistic. Unless you mean "true autism" to be stuff like CWC. Another thing is that for an adult it's usually pointless to get diagnosed with autism, as it's already too late to make the necessary changes in life. Once an autist self-realizes that he is on spectrum it's already too late.

The testosterone concentration argument is dumb because you can't reverse 20+ years of effects of hormones on your body. You don't magically lose your superior upper body strength, your superior muscle makeup, your superior heart power, etc. Imagine taking The Rock or any buff dude, giving him an injection of female hormones and claiming that he is now equal to women, because he has the same hormone balance. Men improve their mental health by doing stuff and not by talking about it. You use lifting as an opportunity to talk about problems, but you don't consider lifting exactly as the way to deal with your problems, but this is exactly what many men do. I don't really agree on the 2nd part. Ad far as I know, beta bux are still being used by women for relationships. Do you pick your partners depending on what traits your children would get or rather whether you are attracted to this person? The ugly truth is that sexual selection is indeed eugenics in some form.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/22 10:51 PM
2

The fact that it happens naturally as we were designed to instead of needlessly going roundabout way doing this.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/22 10:47 PM
2

No, I don't want women to pick up sub-par sperm. just to fend off the eugenics topic. But people generally have children because they have a partner they are attracted to - they aren't looking for candidates whose sperm has the best quality on paper. It just happens that these two sets sometimes overlap, but there is still this implication; and in case of sperm banks this condition is just absent.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/22 10:42 PM
2

Honestly? Yes, I would much prefer it happened this way. Just to note - single mothers are bad news in both cases.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/22 10:31 PM
2

Not really. I'll admit that no matter how you put it, sperm banks as a whole are just weird to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/22 10:27 PM

A facility with basement full of sperm of hundreds of men, a woman browses a catalogue and picks one specific jizz according to some detailed traits of the owner, so that the child gets born with very specific traits. Baby making was something that people who love each other do. It just feels so removed from the natural process, like it's something unhuman or dystopian.

I understand not accepting sperm of inferior men, but my main gripe is that this whole business exists at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/22 08:45 PM
2

There is certainly a very big discussion on what is and what is not part of eugenics especially given the continuous development of gene editing and designer babies. I would say that the sexual selection by its design is eugenics. Of course you can argue that selecting for X traits is not eugenics, but selecting for aryan traits is eugenics, but again, the topic of social and moral aspects of eugenics is so huge you could write books on it.

I find the idea of sperm banks to be fundamentally revolting. Giving your jizz to some facility so that some anonymous woman can get inseminated without her knowing who donated the jizz, instead of doing it the standard way (in case of single women), and in case couples with infertile man it's something akin to cuckoldry. I know that there is no ill intent here, but the whole thing just feels wrong. And the 2nd thing is that it's a full blown eugenics program even though eugenics was supposed to…

Now go tell the same to women who call any man "insecure" if he isn't attracted to streetwalkers or single mothers. Back to the main point - I think that just tiny minority of men try to shame women into dating unattractive men specifically. Of course men lament women's high standards but they don't actually order them to date some basement dwellers. Another point is that your standards can only grow higher, but not lower. If an average woman lands a fuckdate with a HVM she will start to assume …

/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/22 02:16 AM

I'm not sure if "worked" is the best word to use here. Because in those polygamous societies you had tons of disenfranchised men who had no option but to go to military and die on the battlefield. And any opposition would be brutally dealt with. Anything can "work" if you threaten people with sufficient force.

From practical point of view it seems counterintuitive to have such requirements, as you would expect the most elite people to be high-ranked members of society with battlefield experience and so would be likely to have started a family. Sort of a bonus fact - look up the marital debt, where the crusaders had to get permission from their wives to go to the war.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/22 02:16 AM

Yeah, well, I meant that the commoners that you meet in daily life are pretty much religious only in name instead of deeds. As for the actual corruption, it's a problem as old as the religion itself. There is a reason that Martin Luther (the European one) happened.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/22 02:09 AM

Religion solves many more issues than just dating woes. If you just tell people that they are free to do whatever they want it soon becomes an autodestructive process as we see now. And religion is a perfect throttle to these suicidal tendencies. Even though I'm a 100% non-believer I think that religion is a net-positive on the society. However, now it's too late to return to the old ways. Even today the people in the religious circles are corrupted, e.g. the born-again virgins.

My main gripe is that the hypothetical attractiveness scale is linear and uniform, but the actual attractiveness distribution of real people is not necessarily like this. Close, but not exactly this. Men hate the feminism, because now to be considered a successful man you have to put in so much more effort compared to the pre-feminism times. And at the same time women have to put in even less effort to be considered successful and thus leads to resentment.

Squid Game or the lyrics target a very specific scenario or a very specific person, so you can make a 1-to-1 link. Video games are targeted as "he played Call of Duty in his free time, so he wants to kill people in real life", and that's the kind of scenario it was presented today. I haven't heard in recent times anyone saying "he watched Ganglands on Netflix, so he wanted to kill people in real life".

I wonder how long will it take for video games to become socially acceptable, or if it will happen at all. Despite the fact that they have been around for a few decades already, and the industry is worth more than the movie and music industries, it is still thought as "that" kind of activity. You can tell your friend/coworker that you read Stephen King, watched Squid Game or listened to Kanye's new album last night and they would be like "Cool, how was it? I watched this and this...". Of course, there are situations where not allowing for divorce would just hurt the child even further. But I guess the whole divorce and family idea nowadays is presented such that the priority is the wellbeing of the parents, not the wellbeing of their children.

And if the parents don't hate each other and one of them wants to have a divorce because he/she "is bored" then would it be better for the child? It's easy to think that if people divorce it is because they are at each other's throats constantly, but in reality they very often divorce for much shallower reasons nowadays. Neither solution (banning divorces or letting parents do whatever they want) is good and he doesn't even say that divorce should be banned 100%. Divorces were a thing since bibl…

To be honest, I agree with a lot of stuff that FDS preaches (although I vehemently disagree with some points). But my main issue is that FDS women are not honest. All these strategies are not things that are core of their morals, they are merely strategies adopted for their wants. Women are on FDS because prior to coming there they were behaving in a completely opposite manner and it didn't yield the happy result. Men have a much lower threshold of what they consider "attractive enough", so they have a wide pool of women they would happily hit on. It doesn't mean that you area attracted to all women or even most of them. Couple this with fact that there is a greater variety between men on what exactly each of them finds attractive. Different men want different behaviors in women. Some men want to have sex on the 1st date and expect the woman to put it out - they don't want a woman who sleeps on 1st dates, but wants to take it slowly with them. Some men prefer to take things slowly and they would not be happy with a woman who jumps into bed before the 1st date. That's even beyond the concept of committing to someone.

Just because you follow some moral code doesn't mean you require your partner to follow the same values. Women always believe that they are *the one* woman that the guy they fancy will settle down with. Women want attractive men first and foremost - their behavior comes 2nd.

I honestly don't have problem with someone enjoying such simple activities. Actually, it's quite nice because it's easy to have something relatable that both of you could enjoy at the same time. It's better than having someone obsessed about post-modern painting styles and basket-weaving, where you have zero knowledge and interest in it and you would just stare blankly about it. The only problem is when people claim that these are great things but will bash on anything else they don't like, havi…

There's nothing wrong with reading fiction. I bet most people prefer watching Marvel capeshit (me included, and I hate capeshit) instead of some old Ingmar Bergman thought-provoking movies. I'm actually starting to believe that most of these guys are actually fully aware that they are turbo cucks. They hate themselves, and despise their girlfriends. But due to some wicked sense of honor and pride they choose to stay instead of saying "fuck it" and going away. If they ditch their woman, then they acknowledge that this whole effort was in vain, that they gained nothing but shame. They will always be known as "that guy whose gf cheated and got pregnant by someone else". So in order to…

Height isn't a linear factor, it's more of a logarithmic curve. If you are below 6', then every additional inch has an incredible value of upping your attractiveness. But once you cross a certain threshold - about 6'-6'3 range - then every additional inch of height has a very diminishing return, or it can even become a liability. And obviously, bios don't matter.

/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/21 12:20 AM

Eh, I'd disagree. Women don't care about the effort you put into getting the money. Whether you are a trust fund guy or you work double jobs, they don't care as long as the money is there. Of course some occupations bring an additional layer of status and prestige but that's not tied to the earnings itself.

It's perfectly ok to have preferences or dealbreakers when it comes to race. If they call you a racist the so be it (although there is no reason to state your preferences loudly). You don't owe being attracted to anyone.

Currently, the deadline for abortion varies quite a lot between countries and regions, e.g. it's 3 months in a lot of places. I guess the first step to financial abortion would be to let women have an abortion at any time, up to the 9th month.

So the so called financial/paper abortions. I know that some people don't like the idea at all, but in general people agree that men should have less time to decide whether they want to have the baby or not, so the woman can get a real abortion in case the father opts out. How would you solve the inevitable problem of women concealing or lying about being pregnant, so the time runs out for the father to bail our and now he is on the hook. Mostly natural. I'm pretty sure it's tied to disgust sensitivity and that one is a part of our personality. And I find it interesting, because the LGBT people demand respect, because their sexuality is natural and they didn't do anything to be like this, and they can't just "learn" to stop having this sexuality. And at the same time they never consider that homphobia and being disgusted by some poeple is also perfectly natural thing and you can't "educate" homphobia or transphobia away.

The whole thing about women who whine about sexualization but post their asses on Instagram is about controlling the narrative. Women want to be in charge of their own marketing. Let's say you are looking for some decent job and you want to impress the employers. You want to do the talking yourself, instead of having a friend who genuinely wants to help you find the job do the talking. Women do absolutely love sexualizing themselves, but for specific target group and with specific relation.

In short, it's the idea that one's attractiveness overwhelmingly depends on innate and immutable traits. Additionally, what men and women find attractive is also innate, so there is little one can do improve one's attractiveness or convince someone to change what they find attractive. Women play on easy mode, men play on hard mode when it comes to dating. So for example height is a major factor of attractiveness in men, and it's rather hard to change own height. Women like tall men because they …

Abusers are almost never abusive just to a single person. You can just look at how they behave with other people and there is a very high chance that they will display abusive behavior towards them. Women for whatever reason believe that the abuse will never happen to them even if they witness the behavior above.

Incel talking point because shifting the spotlight from women's problems to men's problems is a no-no. Even in this interview, how was the problem presented? Was it compassion and empathy towards men? No. He talked about incels being a danger to the society, so it's still the "men bad" spiel.

Because it's a problem that basically only affects men. Women have no trouble finding a man that would be attracted to them. Hell, usually they don't even have to look for it because men will let them know it themselves. One word - validation.

It's not a disdain, but it's an inherent sense of superiority, or alternatively - sense that women are weaker and more frail. It's not hard to notice that men's arguments vs women at some point have that "but you are a woman" line. When describing men, any adjective or comparison to women, e.g. "you punch like a girl" is seen as derogatory. But it's not like this only has negative connotation. Because of women's weakness men feel the need to protect women and shelter them from danger.

The whole point of this argument was that you can't justify doing X by saying "it's a natural design". How do you know that your plan isn't actually closer to rape on the good-bad scale compared to the model we know and have.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/21 01:38 AM

It would be up to debate if it "doesn't exist" simply because most men do not have to resort to rape to satisfy their needs and so their rapist urges do not get to manifest. But still, for the men who do have a tendency to rape - it is part of their nature and if we go by the "natural design" route then there is no reason to deny them that part of their nature.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/21 05:09 PM

So? It exists in some animals and it does exist in humans. Do we now get to bring only traits that apply to most animals?

Because it absolves them of any personal responsibility.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/21 04:08 PM

Ok, but why do you get to pick what elements of natural design are nice and cool and should be kept, and then go against the natural design and cross out everything that we are not ok with. It sounds like a double standard - X is natural so it's good, but Y is bad even though it's also natural. Fallacy of appealing to nature as someone here mentioned.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/21 04:06 PM

By "natural design" I understand everything that wasn't artificially decided/created by humans. Rape is something that is natural and exists in other animals as well. Banning it is a social construct.

It's hard for introverts to display any superiority in the social hierarchy. Women are attracted to men who display behavior that makes them superior to other men, and extraversion helps immensely with that. If a man wants to show dominance within a group of other men then he has to be himself an extrovert.

Something along the lines "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure". Apparently, the economy was doing just fine under the lockdown rules, so there shouldn't be any problem with extending this lockdown for like next 2 years until we have much higher confidence about the coronavirus situation, instead of risking repeating the whole pandemic situation again.

Uh, have you not heard of the new Mu variant of the coronavirus? It mutated in such way that the vaccines are ineffective against it. By allowing vaxxed people to gather you are inviting another wave of infections and millions of deaths. Vaxxed people should stay at home. Besides, why is the criterion of "largely just ending up as sick as if they had influenza" a valid one? Why the minority that does end up in a life-threatening state is now no longer important enough?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/21 02:11 PM
2

If the vaccine was dangerous then the big pharma would be bound to face backlash and potentially lose money. These companies aren't so dumb to release a product that would ruin them. They slapped something that was considered good enough and started swimming in $$$. The problem isn't with the vaccine itself but with goverments basically requiring people to get it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/21 11:57 AM
0

Then you agree that granting vaxxed people any social liberties is dangerous? For example, there should not be any vaxxed-only events, because there should not be any events at all, just like one or two years ago?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/21 10:14 AM
-2

Even when they are vaccinated they can still get sick and spread the disease. Is the reduced rate after the vax enough of a justification to not require from these people to still wear masks, keep social distancing and not attend any social gatherings? If you truly care for human life then the answer should be "no". Vaxxed people should still live by the lockdown rules.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/21 10:05 AM

It's not a big mystery that poor people have the most children anywhere you look (even this study supports it). Your average poor woman is most likely not too bright or concerned about her future (given that she is poor) and if she manages through life, then the pregnancy/child is not a big deal to her.

Thinking that sex ed will somehow fix all the problems with abortion, contraceptives, etc. is one of the most naive and dumbest ideas. You have mandatory English and Math lessons in school and yet many people still can't write properly, have no reading comprehension and are unable to perform the simplest calculations. Dumb people will always be dumb no matter how much education you throw at them if they have no intention to use it. Also, its not true that there is no sex ed, it just isn't called…

I think viability is a very short-sighted argument and doesn't address the core issue. With improvements to medicine and technology the point of viability will be pushed further and further back until no abortion will be considered valid. We already have a semi lab-grown sheep. And at that point you will have a problem of performing an invasive and costly surgery to save the baby and you are back to wondering who should be responsible for it. 100 years ago premature babies were as good as dead a…

It's always amusing when pro-choice people talking about "my body - my choice" say that abortion should be legal only up to a certain point, e.g. first trimester or whatever and talking about the fetus' ability to feel pain. The kid is part of woman's body up until birth so why not keep abortion legal for full 9 months instead of suddenly having thoughts about its consciousness or some other stuff. Support making it legal in full instead of pretending that you care about life.

It's not about the internet but about social media eroding real life contacts and interactions.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/21 08:47 AM

The first part is easy since men have very low threshold of which women they consider attractive. Th problem is 2nd part since given how women operate, the man they are attracted to has most likely quite a few women to choose from and he will enter an LTR only with the best option, while others will be relegated to the casual-sex sphere.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/21 01:22 AM

Look at it from this point of view: men struggle to find a woman that would be attracted to them, while women struggle to find a guy they are attracted to. Women don't give a fuck that they can easily find a class or looks match because they aren't attracted to those.

The main point of engaging in male hierarchy is precisely to get wimminz. The hierarchy is there to show women which men are attractive. It's not 100% binary like this, but if you look at competing men then in 9/10 cases it's actually about getting women in the long run, not about impressing other men. And it's not about using resources to please women, but about showing women that they are eligible mates by the virtue of having all this shit they worked on.

Before the glaciations the average temperatures were several degrees Celsius higher than now. Perhaps the nature is just returning to its "normal" state? Women can afford to do that because it is in man's nature to protect and rescue the females.

You can discuss stuff, but it seems that many guys talk about this stuff women with the sole purpose of getting them to lower their standards.

I'm all for finding truth and figuring out how the world works, but my point is that telling women all this stuff doesn't lead to any change.

One criticism I have against many manospherians is that they forget that attraction is non-negotiable. Very often they will engage in conversations with women and show them data, stats, examples or whatever to convince them that their standards are too high. But it is pointless, because what you find attractive is not some rational decision that you can change by applying some arguments. If a woman is attracted only to 6ft guys, then she will not start finding 5'9 guys equally hot because of som…

I think this whole thing of interpreting some literally work is like a sine wave. At first you take the story literally, but then you consider all the allegories, but then you consider that the author himself never thought about those allegories, but then you consider that these allegories are present regardless of author's intentions, etc. Consider this: the author is not necessarily 100% aware of what he is writing. He may think that all his words are conscious decisions, but perhaps he is act…

Yes. If someone were an anti-social loser then don't expect him to turn into some social party guy. If someone was a lazy bum in school then don't expect him to be some hard-working and conscientious guy.

Cucking implies that the guy who is cucked actually enjoys this scenario and gets off to the thought of his oman being done by some other guy. What you wanted to say is that men will have no choice regarding their partners and saying that women shouldn't fuck other guys while in relationship will be seen as oppressive and sexist.

CWC is listed as female on his driver's license (under name Christine) and had a prescribed hormonal therapy to treat his gender dysphoria. He is also listed as female on the arrest records. I think that by every liberal metric he is a female. Unless you want to argue that Barb is not a female.

Personally, I find dating apps to be dehumanizing and distorting the relationships. *tinfoil hat on* I have serious doubts about any polls related to Covid. I can't really trust that some people don't have ulterior motives in crafting specific results of such polls and to manipulate public opinion. Like the chairman of Reuters is a board member of Pfizer and is also involved with World Economic Forum. Regarding the data, I find it suspicious that Blacks show greater support for all these mandates than Whites, but at the same time they are the population that is the least likely…

I know other countries had their own bloodbaths, but looking at today's society I seriously doubt that they still have such spirit. English need a loicense for a butter knife, Russians fully embraced the soviet spirit, Spain is basically radical but coddled left. Perhaps you could count on Germany to start the fire. I guess Italians would also muster up some strength.

I don't believe the "slave theory" at all. Firstly, the slaves weren't the top tier Africans - they were enslaved by their fellow tribesmen and then sold to the Americans. If they were the peak men, they wouldn't get enslaved in the first place (additionally, selling off your best men wouldn't be the wisest decision). Secondly, the whole slavery thing encourages endurance, not short bursts of effort. I'm sure it's mostly nature and genetics, but it's not a result of just a few generations of sla…

People who call themselves "serial monogamists" aren't the ones that have a LTR for years and enter new LTR after that (like the above examples of divorces or widows). They have a new relationship every few months or weeks and just use the euphemism "serial monogamy" to make themselves look better.

As much as I enjoy listening to his lectures, I find his solutions and advice to young men incompatible with current times. It would be perfect for a post-war society a couple of decades ago, but it holds nowhere near as water today.

One of the downsides of living alone is that you have to eat everything you cook and bake by yourself. And I don't mean the social aspect of it, but the fact that all the calories and portions are going into you. Making a proper meal for one is often a waste of time and energy so you make more portions (not to mention that the ingredients are often packed with a few people in mind) but then you have to reheat this stuff for a few days or even freeze it. And cakes were never meant to be eaten by …

I agree that perhaps most of the guys weren't actually fucking these girls, but I wouldn't be surprised if they actually used their power and connections to help others do it or do some whatever fucked up stuff. Famous people and people in power are notorious for being stupid or fucked up and there are plenty of examples in history of such things. Additional recent examples is NXIVM thing in US, or the South Korea president being a puppet of some cult. We have this image of famous people being better humans, being smarter, wiser and what not, but the reality is that they are usually more corrupted and psychopatic than your average Joe.

You can frame standards entirely in either a positive or negative light and it's all up to you. You can view having low standards as a tendency to disgrace yourself, dumpster dive, having no self-respect, etc. but someone else will view having low standards as being compassionate, viewing other more humanely and not being selfish. You can view having high standards as a tendency to improve yourself, treating others as equal, climbing higher and being ambitious, etc. but someone else will see it …

Attractive people are much more likely to post their photos everywhere and people like watching attractive people so in turn they become popular. And since this is internet, anything popular becomes overrepresented and this in turns skews people's perception of what is actually normal/average. So if one is bombarded with these images of attractive people then he/she will be more likely to consider themselves ugly.

I believe that selfishness and solipsism are two distinct things even if they seem similar. I agree that plenty of men are very selfish and it's the thing that women lament, but this isn't the same as solipsism seen in women.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/21 02:37 PM

Perhaps, but there is a reason the manosphere talks about the female solipsism, while you never hear about male solipsism from anybody.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/21 02:26 PM

Of course not. But my point is still the same - women have a warped view of the reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/21 02:19 PM

That women believe they are the centerpiece of any action, that everything that happens revolves around them. So that 50 Shades isn't about some rich guy who dominates a random side-hoe, but about an empowered woman who steers an alpha male according to her will.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/21 02:16 PM

I think it's not that women value humor, but they value barely any other character traits at all. Women generally think that having an interesting and nuanced discussion about any remotely serious topic is boring and is a waste of time and energy. They love gossiping about inane shit like who did what, who said what, etc. And since a man is not aware of any gossip stuff, this leaves him only with the option to provide humor to the woman.

It's what the mass media and big businesses want, not what "we as a society" decide. Why do you think every Youtuber is basically required to loudly say that "this episode in sponsored by..." or that any product placement is obviously stated or not related at all. While every movie or series on Netflix won't even bother informing you about which company paid for what product in their show.

Is there something like BB Widows? So Alpha Widows are women who are stuck on their past partner who was super attractive or provided great sex, but is there an expectation to have a partner who would be able to financially match her ex? If she got to live the UMC life thanks to her BB, will she feel resentment towards her current partner for not providing the same quality of life? And I'm not talking about monkey-branching.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/21 05:00 PM

Well, there is an implication here of what leads up to a bad relationship. You can argue that a relationship that isn't bad isn't necessarily a good one.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/21 11:53 AM

Women constantly tell men that they need to learn how to be happy by themselves and basically be a complete human being before they start dating, because "your partner should not be fixing your problems" or something.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/21 11:45 AM

Then women should stigmatize these men. But women won't criticize something they are attracted to.
