I was initially interested in this SR because I do agree that in an effort to avoid the pendulum effect men's rights need to be assisted in many cases, but some of you are legit just women haters, and others are just so frustrated you've gone the complete opposite. So thanks for your opinion, but I'll take this last thread as my cue, that this isn't the SR for me, it's like the male version of /r/Feminism

jesus christ I get that we're all "Mens rights, yay!", but some reality needs to be applied as well. cmon you've been hanging with your friends and they joke about not wanting to see dick in whatever fashion blah blah. Body shame runs in both directions, women are told what they should look like, what's acceptable to wear etc etc. Men have different standards but the same level of social control. the "privilege" she has. do yo understand their culture at all? If a woman can/does decide to speak up she can be socially persecuted because of the inherent victim blaming of women. So yes on the surface they have a legal advantage, but its not really an advantage at all as of yet. You realize this is recent right? What do you know to a large extent about how it's treated over there or are you reading some small articles, and thinking you have a grasp? Yeah there is unfair responses to all victims, but that doesn't mean women are any less subjugated because men are too. There is no easy answer for something like this, all I said was that I feel the kids got the worst hand. The father did what he had to do and I agree with his actions. I care more for the kids in this case, I am well aware how parents can be hurt in these situations, but my advocacy is for kids comparatively and it always will be. I expect an adult to be able to cope and deal, but a kid is at the mercy of shitty ass adults with no recourse. Now I can understand why some may disagree and that's fair, but adults have recourse, kids don't.
