Another case someone had managed to get it behind a woman’s licence plate on her car, it took hours and hours to find it.

The only thing you’ve skipped over is the fact she pursued him when he was happy with Debbie; I still can’t figure out why she bothered. She always seemed to want the men she considered beneath her (Skipper, Steve) back only when she saw them with other women that made her insecure. Like it was a weird power move to get one over on the ladies who had qualities she didn’t. Debbie was very femme gorgeous, and very bubbly; Miranda is beautiful too but not the same way, and she’s very not bubbly. Sk…

I looked it up before I commented and didn’t see that; but it’s very possible it’s completely subjective to where we are in the world! I think annulments are also really at the discretion of a judge, outside of the legal reasons (bigamy, etc) and apparently incredibly hard to get

I hate to be that girl but I’m doing it anyway I don’t think this is grounds; things like already being married, discovering you were closely related, or a forced wedding, those can be annulled. Lying, even about something as big as this, isn’t grounds for a legal annulment

Because some people truly believe that “Yes, all men” is dangerous, or maybe they don’t want to believe how vulnerable they really are. They don’t want to be challenged on their feelings of safety and security, out of naivety, (wilful) ignorance, denial, bling trust, etc. Unfortunately we realistically don’t have the option to be complacent. I’m sorry for your friend; it’s an awful way to realise the reality of being a woman; you’re never really safe.

I LOVE Gilmore girls and have no shame in shouting it! But Rory is incredibly annoying sometimes and really does have the worst taste in men. Emily was hardcore and I love her, and Lorelai worked damn hard to own her own business, raise her kid as well as she could, she went to evening classes to keep learning, etc; considering she had a mother who seemed very self assured and independent Rory definitely seemed to need a relationship. Atleast Lorelai was described being that way before the serie…

Not long after I got my first car I did an evening course at my local vocational college, the basic of car maintenance, or something like that. Explained how engines worked in depth, then how to replace a tyre, how to replace brake pads (but they said not to do this yourself), jump a car, common faults, fuses, even just replacing a wind shield wiper. I was the only woman on the course, and I’ve never actually had to use any of what I learnt, but it was about getting my confidence up that I atlea…

Fucking right?! Every guy I’ve dated is a “90s guy” and they’re mostly the WOOOORST. Atleast if the idiot was saying the 1950s I could sort of see why he’d be deluded; but 1990s guys are everywhere, and we experience their dumb assery in real time. We know they ain’t shit.

I think love languages can be useful to understand, but only in good, respectful, equal relationships 😂 The relationship I’m in now is the first time we’ve discussed love languages and it hasn’t bitten me on the ass. Every man before this has had ‘physical touch’ right at the top and used it as a way to demand it so I show I love them. I’m not a very physical touch person, and am so happy my partner now isn’t either! We love each other, do things for each other all the time, gifts, help, words, …

I have done similar things with my husband before; not because he can’t, but because his mannerisms can come across a little cold when he doesn’t mean to be; he’s just not very expressive. So if there’s a miscommunication or an accident I’ll tend to take the lead because I’m bubbly-polite to a fault IRL and want wait staff specifically to know we’re not mad about anything! 😂 Edit; WHY do I get downvoted for this? Lighten up, jeez.

Yeah that confused me. I’m English and boys in school (like 15) used to call the hole in the end of their penis a japs eye. Haven’t heard it in a LONG time, and didn’t even realise at the time how horrifically racist it is either. So he’s stupid and a racist, but those things do tend to be a 2for1 deal.

Another reason to look after yourself, pick someone who knows the importance of diet, fitness, health as a partner, and to teach your kids those things too!! I didn’t really learn how to properly COOK till I was already an adult; my mom was a great cook, she did it all, but I never asked to learn and she never offered to teach. Tell you what’s interesting on this topic; epigenetics. The medical study about epigenetic tags that we all have, impacted by things like our health, fitness level, stress, smoking, etc. These epigenetic tags help your body to know how to express genes, and poor diet and smoking for example can give us bad epigenetic tags that can cause things like disease, cancers, etc. From my understanding it doesn’t do anything to change or alter your DNA, but your epigenetic tags can change how your DNA is …

And we’ve said it a hundred times; Men know. They know what they’re doing, and they know it’s wrong. They just don’t care. That’s why we need the majority of men to be actively and loudly scornful of sexism (because they don’t give a shit unless it’s other men saying it) and even if we got most men to preach it, living kindly and respectfully, realistically it will still take generations to snuff out the toxicity. And let’s be honest, none of that is ever going to happen anyway.

I think American and England share a lot of the same issues unfortunately. We’re AmericaLiteTM The one bonus is we don’t really have guns, but that’s why we have such a big knife crime issue - it’s the next best thing. And increasingly more criminals are getting guns in as well. It’s no wonder why younger generations are so disillusioned with the world right now. Holding out hope for better things to come.

Girl, same. I’m scared even walking from my car to a Sainsbury’s in the dark when I’m alone. I’ve seen such an outcry on social media because I think we ALL feel this way too. Half of the country is scared to be outside! This is supposed to be a “first world country” and its 2021 and half the population is scared to go outside without a chaperone. It’s just really crystallised that fear.

Lack of funding for the police is a big one, we have issues like America does with drug addiction which often comes with increasing crimes, and a growing issue with knife crime in inner cities and gang related stuff, mental health as a whole seems to be generally deteriorating, while support for mental health issues is low at best, non existent at worse. You need investment to try and curb a lot of social issues that then present themselves in crime, and that’s not really a thing that the countr…

YUP!!! I mentioned that in another comment here because I know that police are fucked up, power abusive, violent people but in my hopefully little brain I still want to believe that they help people. Yup, because it doesn’t matter what we wear; if we’re a girl then we can be a target. I was discussing this with my husband earlier as we used to go out and play Pokémon go when that was still a thing, and sometimes I would have to ask him to put his phone away, or look up and be more aware because there would be someone sketchy looking/acting near us. He never really noticed, because he never had to. As a woman I’ve had to develop more situational awareness than him because I don’t get the luxu…

Like I know so many police officers are fucked up; aren’t there statistics that they’re more likely to be violent at home and things? I know this but it still makes me more angry that you’re literally supposed to actively keep people SAFE for god sake. And a woman was arrested also (no idea how they’re related, maybe wife or mother or something) and accused of ‘assisting an offender’ so has somehow chosen to help this murderer afterwards? Absolutely bizarre.

I live in a beautiful forest. Gorgeous. But I could never go for a run or a walk in the woods without my husband. It’s just not safe! I’ve been posting on my socials bitching about this and one of the little meme things basically said “if you object to us saying #notallmen then you need to be stopping sexism in your male friends and colleagues, educating your sons, and listening to and supporting women’s rights how they say they need you to” and I literally had a woman message me saying that women also need to be doing those things to educate men, and that we shouldn’t make this a male vs female issue. I mean despite having dating in the title I do not believe this is a dating subreddit. I don’t date. I am engaged. This is a subreddit about women being strong for themselves and refusing to accept awful treatment from shit men, and shit women too - not just in sexual relationships but in friends, careers, politics. This isn’t a dating subreddit.

One of my ex’s had a beard. Not long, just like normal facial hair. When we broke up we met up to do the exchanging of things; he had shaved it off. He looked awful without the beard! I told him so too, that he made it so much easier to not feel sad when he looked like that. Ahh I nearly forgot that memory. So funny! My poor fiancé intended to propose at an event in the summer of 2020, but the event got postponed till December. Wasn’t the ‘dream’ proposal by that point because of the impact Rona had on the event (not explaining for privacy!) and the fact it was outside and cold/wet, but he didn’t want to wait any more time. Covid could be around for years, he didn’t want to wait any more time. I appreciate him. Wasn’t the ideal dream proposal but he’s my dream man!! 💕

I got engaged this year, and a staff member saw it happen at the place he did it, and she came and talked with us and took a picture for us! She asked how long we’d been together, around 2/3 years we said, she then told us she’d been with her partner for 14 years. No ring. Girl that sounds like a you problem not a me problem, I got mine 😅

Women also don’t publicly talk about their crazy ex’s in unsafe spaces because their crazy ex’s brutalised and tortured them, and yet somehow they will still be blamed by toxic men and pickme girls. So women learn to only discuss these old ‘crazy ex’s’ with safe people they can be vulnerable with, and we all know the amount of people we can do that with is very small. A crazy ex gf is seen as the woman’s failing, a crazy ex bf is somehow still seen as the woman’s failing.

SM caused issues for me in the past - with my current partner the fact he never posted to FB and doesn’t even have IG or Twitter were a big plus for me. Especially as I barely post on SM myself - it’s toxic. I do still have an IG though - but now I follow food, small local businesses, and cats!

There’s a show in the UK called ‘5 guys a week’ - 5 men move in with a woman at the same time for one week while she gets to know them with the intent to date/end up with one of them. I’ve watched a few episodes now and it is STAGGERINGLY awful. I think I have had a good man for so long that I’ve repressed how bad most men are, but this is just awful. I fucking love cleaning my house. I swear I’d be a cleaner/organiser if all jobs paid the same because I just enjoy making everything neat and tidy; it’s my hobby. Makes me so happy. But because I do most of the cleaning my partner takes up more of the other house chores - money, cooking, meal plans, chores I hate 😂 But we also never did this until we lived together, and we’d been together for 2 years. You can be single and in a committed relationship when we’re talking in absolutes. Single doesn’t mean dating or dating around, it means not married, atleast in FDS sphere. It’s just not pretending you’re the same as married because you’re dating someone for years and years.

Hi hun, while what the asshole did is horrible it is NOT identity theft. Identity theft is when someone steals your identity in order to gain financial access - credit cards, loans, your private documents, etc. Fraud is also criminal deception for financial OR personal gain, again I am not sure this would be any personal gain and for sure no financial gain so it’s probably not either of these things this person has told you. I just think unfortunately that simple, good relationships aren’t a story. It would be a bit dull to see a romcom based on that to be honest - I can’t think of any film that doesn’t have conflict in it generally. Maybe in a secondary character or in a romance plot line that isn’t the centrally story but there’s no way a normal dating story is going to be made in to a movie.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/08/20 08:54 AM
9

Yeah exactly. I think the person you’re responding to probably didn’t read it that way somehow but this is 100% a film about an emotionally immature guy who meets a girl and treats her like a 2D character in his life and tries to fit her in to the position of ‘perfect girl’ - he never sees her as a nuanced and 3D person outside of HIM. That’s the whole point of the film!!

You can literally see it happening in this thread - dishearten your enemies supporters to try and make them seem even. “It’s two poisons” or “they’re both awful”!?! When I was typing it I realised that if a man did something to me like a sexual assault, or violence, systemic abuses.... I could probably hold that anger forever, that’s so much more than just being a shitty man, that’s actual evil.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/07/20 08:34 AM

For sure, and that’s why I did add that little note in there because some guys do some really evil things and you can be angry and hold the hate for that indefinitely - I didn’t want people like you to think I was attacking you at all, and I’m sorry again if you felt that from me. Some wounds cut so deep that we can never forget and that’s not your shortcoming at all, it’s the asshole that did that to you.

Any man who hates his ex girlfriend is a red flag to me. I don’t hate any of my exboyfriends because I literally do not care about them anymore. I don’t care if they owed me money, I don’t care if they were assholes, I don’t care because they’re not a factor in my life at all. Any person who hates their ex has some unresolved feelings there (excluding massive trauma from this, obviously), and I don’t want to deal with that in a new relationship.

I had someone do it while I was at the gym and I stopped going for a little while because it made me uncomfortable that anyone would be watching me work out and looking at me sexually at all at the gym. Working out is all about ME, and it made me really insecure.

I can cook better and healthier than these basic ass restaurants anyway. Why ply myself with sugar and salt and carbs and then “owe” someone else for it. No thanks!

It’s not? The mods have locked it up we assume to protect it, perhaps an overreaction. The admins haven’t banned it - the mods just made it private.

They’ve gone private and kicked everyone - no one can get in right now. They might be doing a purge/update to try and avoid being unreasonably banned based on the new rules. All you can do I imagine is wait and see if they reopen

That is true but that doesn’t mean every person claiming to be a victim IS a victim. This woman clearly needs help and god knows what she’s involved in that she keeps getting herself arrested for this - but we need to be smart and informed and be able to think critically about where we’re getting our information from. If they were covering this up they wouldn’t be investigating, and they wouldn’t be drawing more attention by charging HER over and over again. No valid news source has picked this …

There isn’t one - this girl has been claiming she’s a victim of this over and over again since 2017 and there’s never been any proof at all, infact she’s been charged over and over with making this crap up - and she KEEPS doing it. That’s why no decent paper is covering it.

It’s super gross. It shows how you’ll live if you ever live with him too. You’ll have to do all the tidying, cleaning, and you’ll end up the naggy miserable mother to him. I wouldn’t accept a man who lived in a mess. And he either thinks his mess is normal or he knows it’s gross and doesn’t care that you see it; neither of those are positive. Also you met him years ago but have only just gone to his place??

“Men want their partners, especially female partners, to start doing or liking certain things, eg ‘How can I get her to start going to the gym/losing weight? How can I get her to start playing video games with me even though she hates them? How can I get her to let me stick it in her butt on a regular basis?’ Women want their partners, especially male partners, to stop doing certain things, eg ‘How can I get him to stop threatening to murder me every time we argue? How can I get him to cut down …

My ex many many years ago was like this. Couldn’t even name the prime minister, and we are both english!!!! Lived in his mums house, didn’t know how to cook much, boring, literal job was streaming, balding. So gross. Sometimes I think about what I put up with and just shudder. Most of my ex’s I still think of fondly but I feel queasy that I dated him. BYE LOSER!

Fucking exactly. Men want the 1950s housewife who cooks and cleans and keeps the house right but the men used to go out and earn ALL the money to pay for her to do that. Now you have to cook, and clean, and keep the house and your pussy clean, work 40hrs a week, pay 50%, and not be too tired to say no. Time has value - the man was paid for his time working by his salary and the woman was paid for her time keeping the household going by her husband giving her money and supporting her wants and ne…

There’s so much bad stuff, especially lately, that I don’t think there’s much wrong with posting something like this unless the lady would have asked them not to. Yeah, people post it for a bit of an ego boost and a pat on the back but also they DESERVE it for doing that. Goodness is it’s own reward but we can incentivise a little bit. Plus it could inspire more acts of kindness too :)

A few days ago there was a person on Reddit who was commenting that drugging a man to rob him was literally AS BAD as raping someone anyway so she is a rapist - the mental gymnastics make me sick!!! So I went and played her music for a while to give her a little extra $$$ hahahaha

One of my colleagues was engaged to a girl who was just nuts (sorry gurl) and he just wanted to rescue her ass I swear. She NEEDED him!! He could SAVE HER!!! Then she left him during a manic episode for another man. I took the opportunity to talk to him and pointed out that these women do not make good partners! She was sick, she needed medical help not a ring and someone enabling her behaviour because it stroked his ego.... The idiot then started dating a girl who had BPD because he seems to mi…

Every time Cardi B is mentioned on Reddit she is called a rapist for being a prostitute who’d solicit men, then when they agreed; drug them, not have sex, and rob them, but they LOVE Joe Exotic for animal abuse, woman hating, sexual abusing! 🤢

Why not put it out there on Instagram or Facebook? One time make a post stating you’re being harassed by someone you met in the UK and would all your friends be aware on if someone asks them to reach out to you ok his behalf to please not enable his harassment. Don’t even name him, as to avoid any ‘drama’. Might by worth contacting the university when corona stuff lifts a bit if he’s still going too - it’s harassment and it’s a crime, and hopefully the university could talk to him and make him s…

I have a male friend who recently ended an engagement and before we had a great friendship. Not particularly chatty but supportive still, and I met his girlfriend and she and I became great friends too, typically went on double dates, etc. Now he’s single he’s made a couple of sexual jokes to me (I made a comment that his neighbours cat likes him - he made a comment about pussy liking him), and he sent me a video of said cat which also happened to feature him shirtlessly sunbathing. I don’t even…

For me and my partner it just became a conversation about what he wanted vs what he grew up thinking he would want. Generally still we’re still raised to think we want to get married, get the kids, live the life on route A. I decided years and years ago that children weren’t for me, or atleast a very specific set of requirements would have to happen to have them, so I have had many years to accept that. Plus I’ve always taken the path less traveled so it was an easier choice. My partner never re…

Every now and then when I’m out with friends I’ll comment on a female-strangers looks as they walk passed in the hopes they hear it. I’m English so randomly approaching someone might come off as weird but i hope they overhear me saying they have great hair/a great outfit or something 😂 Lifting up other women should be natural to us, we have enough out there in the WORLD telling us we’re not enough (skinny enough, young enough, pretty enough) so we have to make sure we’re lifting women’s esteem u…

It’s hard to say because you haven’t actually said what your bad thoughts and behaviours actually are. Personally for me I do have generalised anxiety so with my boyfriend I’ve just been super honest about boundaries, expectations, and my emotions! I will tell him I’m feeling very stressed out by X lately, so I need him to do Y, and he always listens. We’ve been together for 2 years now so I just say “I’m very stressed out by X” and he’ll just go “no problem, need me to do Y?” But really it depe…

I agree! I’m not a very physical person and thankfully my boyfriend is on the same level. I’ve been with men before who are just handsy all the damn time and I would have to ask them to please just not touch me for a little while - it was just too much. BUT when you look at this video with the other videos of them, and context about their relationship, and how nervous she appears around him it’s just sad - it doesn’t come off as two people healthily communicating their needs/boundaries, it’s him…

I found FDS linked in another sub a few weeks ago and couldn’t understand at all why everyone was going “OMG THAT SUB IS SO AWFUL ITS DISGUSTING” I even sent it to my boyfriend without context asking him what he thought to try and understand what was ‘disgusting’ and he wasn’t offended at all. You’re only offended if women having standards and self esteem scares you. Be worthy and you’re not worried, easy.
