Women typically don’t end one relationship until they’ve got another poor sucker lined up. Her calculated and cold demeanor, dropping this on you out of nowhere, showing no signs of giving AF about you. Classic signs are there. She’s got someone else in mind to take over lawn care for her.

You’re right. Selfishness and self centeredness rule society. “I” has replaced “we”, and individual happiness is more important than that of the whole. God forbid we don’t feel 100% happy and comfortable 100% of the time, kids and commitments and vows and promises and responsibilities be damned.

I always raise an eyebrow when I hear someone claiming emotional abuse. Sure, it’s real, but I think some (many? most?) people like to claim “emotional abuse” when the relationship is ending and they don’t like the way they feel. If I say something you don’t like, or you don’t agree with, it doesn’t mean I’m “abusing” you. So, cut yourself some slack. Your ex is the LAST person you should take any sort of dating or relationship advice from. It’s only in her best interest to remember the bad thin…

Nah. I refuse to let anyone take me out of my own character, much less someone who is going to spend the rest of their life being a stranger to me. I’ll deal with a few hours of discomfort over a lifetime of regret for being too much of a 🐈 to stand on my own character and morality.

I would go. Leave the marriage as you entered it: head up, chest out, ten toes down. Plus, I wouldn’t want her to forever be able to say, “that POS couldn’t even show up to his own divorce cackle cackle cackle.” Show up dressed your best, fresh hair cut, clean shoes and don’t even peek her direction. If you’ve got a hot friend she’s never met, maybe consider enlisting her to show up “with you” to court that day.

Worst advice a woman can take is that of another woman.

Her pride and ego probably won’t allow her to admit she fkd up royally. The optics are crazy tho. She had a marriage and kids and a home. Now she has none of that. I can’t imagine a mother choosing seeing her children 4 days a month.

She sounds like a real piece of work. She left her home and her children for some loser. She literally threw a grenade and then jumped on it, completely obliterating her own life. Has she reached out with pathetic attempts at reigniting your relationship?

Your friend is keeping you focused on the reality that your EW is lying, cheating, pathetic piece of shit. You can “forgive” her for that, and remain cordial, but him not letting you FORGET what she is, is him being a good friend to you. If you hadn’t had him in your ear this whole time, it’s likely you’d have said yes to hanging out with her and then you’d be in a whole new quagmire.

It won’t go anywhere. Doctors only get fired for EXTREME circumstances. Him banging a sales rep is par for the course. He’s probably banged half the nurses, too. A local doctor recently got fired after being caught banging a nurse in a utility closet in the hospital. But it was the second time he’s been caught having sex on hospital grounds, despite being married, and he was only fired this time because family members of a patient are the ones that caught them. No way to sweep it under the rug. …

Drink lots of water and try and get as much sleep as you can each night. Keep doing what you’re doing in the gym, but maybe add some nature walks. Fresh air and natural vitamin D via sunshine can go a looooooong way. Here are the supplements I take. Google each of them and see if any of them interest you. I certainly feel better with this routine than without it. Glucosamine Chondroitin MSM & Tumeric Vitamin D B-complex Vitamin Lion’s Mane mushroom extract NAC Omega 3 fish oil Daily multivitamin…

ex’s new partner hates me and wants to fight. What should I do? “🔫”

Right on. I’ve got a soon to be 13 year old that I’ve diligently taught responsibility, accountability, respect for self and for others, and that she is worth so much more than the way she looks. While all her friends are boy crazy, she’s firmly planted in her self worth. It’s comical and pride inducing to hear her lament the less than desirable actions and attitudes she’s noticing in her friend group as they all reach their teenage years. I feel I’ve done my best (so far) to prepare her for thi…

How’d she take it when you told her you are officially done with the marriage?

Meh. Her ego won’t let her accept that you aren’t a rotting pile of dejection and self-loathing after ‘losing’ her. She has no interest in taking you back, she just never considered you’d ever be capable of moving on with your life. In essence, she’s delusional and she’s realizing her friends were all wrong lol. Record all interactions, be respectful but firm in your boundaries, and DO NOT believe a single thing she ever tells you again without verification. She had her chance with you and she b…

If it’s any consolation, your kid will see how little effort she puts in. He’ll grow his own barriers with her in his own time. Shitty parents foster shitty relationships with their kids.

Mate, she left you and her own child to go chase her selfish desires. Take all the time you need. She isn’t worth an ounce of extra effort.

Definitely not. All those things he did for her, he did out of hate. /s

This is it. And nothing is ever their fault or responsibility, and consequences don’t exist. Feminism has destroyed the nuclear family.

She said she’s been dating a lot. Met some really good men. But couldn’t lock any of them down? 🤔

Your oldest is 21, a legal adult by 3 years. Your job with her is done. If she doesn’t want you in her life, then fk it. She’s free to make that decision. But no more car, no more insurance, no more cell phone plan, no more gas money. She wants to make adult decisions, then she gets to deal with adult responsibilities and adult consequences. And don’t “share” your truck with her or anyone. So she can wreck that too? No way. They don’t get to treat you like sht and then still rely on you for a cu…

The question is, how would you tell him? Do you have solid proof? Do you have a LOT of solid proof? One screen shot could be faked or explained away by her. Would he believe you anyway? If you’ve got solid undeniable proof, and a way to send it to him anonymously, then do it. Otherwise, you’ll just look like the jealous bitter ex.

Mate, you’re already planning on divorcing. Everything else in your post is pointless. I know it hurts and I know it’s scary, but it’s over. If she wants to go sneaking around with some other guy and drag all her baggage in to that new relationship, let her and ignore it. Focus on ways to make more money, get in the gym, start looking after yourself with the sole intention of reentering the dating scene as a single dad. She had you and she lost you. You were there prize in the marriage. She’ll s…

I’m so fortunate I don’t have to wonder if my wife upgraded I saw a quote on here a while back that stuck with me: Cheaters don’t cheat down, they marry up. The AP is just a reflection of what the cheater truly deserves. In other words, your wife got lucky when she snagged you. Unfortunately, when she realizes how badly she fcked up, it’ll be too late. She’s getting what she deserves.

Honestly, just be thankful she didn’t dupe you in to paying for it before yall split up. She wants to drop 10 stacks on her rack, that’s her business.
