Yep. Sadly I’m not surprised I was downvoted. The men on here don’t care about anyone but themselves and would rather be on Reddit playing the victim and talking crap about women rather than take accountability for their actions. Most of them wouldn't even be divorced if they listened to the women they claimed to love and made an effort for the relationship.

“I have never cheated…” stop right there. You don't have to cheat, be physically abusive, etc. to be divorced. The fact that you even stated this means you haven't actually changed. You just want to keep making excuses. Look at it from your ex wife’s perspective. She was mistreated and likely felt underappreciated in the marriage, leading to a divorce. No amount of you changing now will make her leave her current partner and go back to you. You need to face the fact that you ruined your marriage…

“Sorry you feel that way” I was stating a fact, not my feelings. You'd be surprised how many men blow up their marriages because they ignored their wife’s needs and/or feelings. However, it doesn't apply here and I apologize for having that assumption. At best she had a lot of internal issues to work out before even getting into a relationship, much less getting married and having kids. I hopeem things work out for you OP.

So true. More often than not husbands are told about problems in their marriage and either ignore it or refuse to do anything about it. Then some go online claiming how they were blindsided with a divorce. While this case is slightly different since she cheated, it still doesn't change the fact that she was unhappy in the marriage and OP doesn't even care to explain what that was.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
