Oh man! When I was with my ex, I seriously wanted to hire a cleaning lady. I was working 10 hour days and my ex worked full-time too. Plus we had a roommate who never cleaned anything. So true! I'm working professional with no kids and I get no support about it from family or friends whatsoever! When I decided to go to college, I got almost no support (except from my mom). I actually had people telling me I was selfish for 'abandoning' them and a lot of negativity from people I thought were my friends. But I had tons of requests over the years to come to baby showers. For people who never checked in to see jow my job was going or how college was going.

I totally relate to this! When i was 19 I really wanted to get my nose pierced. But I didn't because my bf at the time told me I'd be ugly to him if I did it. Looking back I now see how grossly entitled that statement he made was. It's my body and I get to choose what I do with it. After we broke up, the first thing I did was get my nose pierced. I've had it ever since and am happy with how it looks.
