Oh man ... it took me nearly 30 years of my life to allow myself to fully trust one woman because of who my mother was to her dying breath. Even now, there are times where I question behavior ... after being married for 10 years. Edit: Its still everywhere in my life. I do not allow myself to occupy a space alone with another woman. When my son has kids over, sometimes girls, I make it very well known I do not trust them and I would prefer my wife monitor them. Even so much as to say, I have cam…

Ironically they are making a good choice. Men raised by misandrist mothers might actually turn out exactly how they fear BECAUSE they are misandrist 😵‍💫

Well they have a nasty side effect coming in the next few generations. The boys being vilified as they have, it should be no surprise the shift in young men's conservative representation. By villifying all men and treating young boys as they have, they are causing the perfect storm for a backslide.

Depends. Sports are generally a spectacle event to watch the pinnacle of something. Kinda same as why watch WNBA? There is no real spectacle to it. Now, its played more to rules than the NBA ... but you get 6'10"+ Men jumping through the rafter dunking. Its just more entertaining. Most people watch sports for entertainment only not the love of the game. Men typically are far more athletic proving way more entertainment in plays. Including injuries. Think Gladiators.

Don't women sexualize women more than men though?

The US has become accustomed to 2 income households. The entire economy adapted to the extra income. Unless the other person is making 2 incomes worth in 1 salary, its unreasonable.

I feel bad for my Wife. Her youngest Son treats her so disrespectfully. I keep hounding him on one thing "you get out of me how you treat your Mother & my Wife". We are constantly arguing with him. And he is tame compared to his friends. These next couple generations of young Men are not going to be kind ... at least for the ones I am around.

A lot of that resistance from men is likely due to ego.

I think a big shift is coming in the next 4-8 years. This new class of freshman through Seniors have been attacked socially by online feminism for their whole lives. Just like how this last election cycle was the largest conservative swing in 100 years. Its gonna happen again. Feminism took it too far to attack all the men down into elementary schools since COVID. They've managed to turn these young men into the exact thing the feminists hate. Just an observation from my Sons friends. They hold …

Tbf, if your only view or interaction is purely social media ... then yeah, your average interaction will likely paint this. Even further, if you live in a metro area. This is also probably true. If you want an authentic interaction, go to just outside large metro areas and rural areas, too. Thats where the normal, less crazy, authentic people exist.

You know. This reminds me of an episode from a show called upload. Can't find it on YouTube but it is from Season 1. Essentially, you have to video tape yourself providing consent, which includes a few questions regarding substance consumption & an AI reading body language to determine capability of providing conscientious consent.

It will get better ... but my response will likely be largely hated. As Men become more disproportionately targeted, vilified, and degraded ... there will come a time when Men stand with similar vitriol as modern Feminism. The delineation, here, is that Mens capacity for violence and physical superiority would result in society most likely returning to what it was or worse. And then we start over.

It is not "for whatever reason". A lot of online rhetoric regarding political discourse is utilizing emotional connections to get a specific response. Guess which gender is more likely to have an emotional response?

Yeah but the finances thing is 2 ways ... cuz no shot is a woman who marries me now responsible for my success. No way is she entitled to 50% of assets and value to what I gained prior to marriage. Period. During marriage, sure ... but before? No. Not even going to entertain it.

Categorically, its intent is to ensure each parent pays their share of responsibility to the child. Its rarely the case. In any which direction. My fiance had a court side with her ex husband, and it took her 9 years to get full custody back after he physically abused the children for years. And now he is going on 15k unpaid child support and the court is doing nothing while allowing him to use malicious litigation to essentially pull us both into bankruptcy. Its the court system itself that is …

Focus on you and yourself. Confidence will deter a lot of this behavior in my experience. Women don't need to be your whole focus in life.

Aside from policy but the entire political climate just assimilates to the idea that Men always have privilege, therefore, there is no need to focus on them. It's the same argument as BLM vs ALM. Yes, BLM matters ... but not at the sacrifice of others by omission.

This is the same comparison as what happened in 50 shades of Grey. It's fine as long as it's a man with great wealth. If they were poor & ugly, dude would be in prison before the opening credits even finished.

10% seems low. Someone should "hack" into the lineage sites and pull how many children are only related to the Mother .... let's break their lies /s Let's not. It'd tear down society as we know it.

Gonna piss off a lot of people ... but when women's sports leagues operate with a negative yearly revenue and the men's leagues subsidize the league, they don't deserve more money. Entertainment is based on what the consumer values. Also, if you really want to talk about equity of pay. Women get paid out about 20% of their leagues revenue in salaries. Men get paid about 5-7%. In this instance, Men are actually paid less than women by percentage point. But equity, right???
/r/MensRights19/02/25 01:53 PM

You could probably already get at the data from ancestry or DNA lineage testing sites. I found out my great grandmother, grandmother, and mother were not all blood related. My Mom, also, did not have the same father my Aunt and Uncle did. So the data is there. Someone just needs to aggregate it in this specific way.

There was a well known/seen woman content creators but she disappeared overnight one day, early in COVID. I can't remember her name though. Another is out there. But this is just 2. Need more women educating women on all humanities problems, not just one sided. Especially since women don't listen to men, saying it's mansplaining or the issues don't exist. Has to be a woman saying it.

Prenups aren't as effective as people think. There is a lot that still happens that your comment is minimizing. A lot of equity work for divorce, family court, lax sentencing, etc, for equity between genders. Ffs, even someone above saying women who SA men ... that's Rape. Stop minimizing behavior because the perpetrator is a woman.

I think the focus is primarily because of Athletes like Lia Thomas. Couldn't even compete in men's sports but then turns around to set records in women's sports. While I agree statistically this is just a smoke and mirror show ... but the precedent Lia set is a dangerous one. Whose to say someone like Jon Jones doesn't transition into Jonni Jones and goes to fight in Female UFC? That statistic argument is also sort of misrepresented at the pro level as well. I wouldn't say Men are useless and maybe they can't put it into words but with the destruction of gender roles, the value men biologically provide gets shattered. So as society molds into this new era, under this current trajectory they technically aren't wrong. Men have a lot less value now than historically.

Honestly, I would love to see a Transman try to come in and compete against a retired Michael Phelps ... ffs ... I am confident a geriatric Michael Jordan would body a Transman in basketball. But why is there is much energy in transwomen going into women's sports? Low key, I think it's money. Male athletes make more money because of the entertainment value. So if more athleticism was brought, even artificially, to women's leagues they think viewership would go up.

I don't think you're totally right. Anything that can cause the creation of dopamine in large instant doses can do this. Which is not just sex. It's no different than men. Love can honestly be brought down to the chemical addiction to dopamine. So anything that causes that dopamine to be generated in high doses will do this. Sex is one but it's not the only one ... and the triggers for dopamine generation can differ from person to person.

Some men can go as well but I think the person you're responding to is sort of right ... but in the wrong way. Sexual relations have chemical releases that create that emotional bond. Even if there isn't a "release" you can't really stop those chemicals from releasing ... unless you a sociopath/psychopath with actual psychological impairments that prevent that chemical release. Or for that matter, have had so many different partners that your body has developed a tolerance for it (this happens f…

I personally think "blind love" is a phrase that romanticizes obsession, which is very unhealthy and not sustainable. Even if they do, it is probably equally accompanied by break ups & most likely results in really unhealthy long term relationships.

Idk if I agree with this ... and Fucking hate I am about to say this ... But hostile work environments for the opposite gender is often sited by DEI, so if it really was about equity and inclusion, Men would and should be encouraged to enter these spaces .... Men should be able to. Regardless of what any Female wants to claim. If the Man does not want to be a Father, he should have the opportunity to opt out of any responsibility for the child. It shouldn't be "My body, my choice" it should be "My life, my choice" But alas, this is yet another misandric double standard that there is no logical response to why it exists.

If the women were equally qualified and treated work equally in terms of attitude; it'd be a lot less pronounced IMO. Alas, most Women in Male dominated fields aren't nearly as qualified. Not that they aren't capable but they are given positions they aren't qualified and get promotions not earned. If Women fought against this favorable treatment from a equal opportunity, not equal outcome perspective, it also may change. However, if you put a junior Dev into a Senior Full Stack Dev position ... …

From a stats side, this is something that really hits home. 80% of suicides are Men; 62% of Male suicides are caused by post-relationship depression, many causes but the main contributers are legal and child related. Another aspect that isn't talked about is in that 62%, the majority of those Men do not have social circles that are their own. They end up solely in their wives social circles and when they split up, they are alone. Like completely alone. And likely feeling crushed. With zero suppo…

You're right but in a very negative way. When Men talk about Mens rights, we are shunned and shamed, blocked, labeled incels; everywhere this happens in any meaningful space. So, no, it's not like we can even have a voice. There is a lot of resources, available in this sub, with credible sources, that show how misandric society has become, including this commentary. And there is so much legislation and statistics dripping with misandry, your comment is hardly palatable.

Adding onto this a little bit. Men are far more likely to be shot by police (https://www.statista.com/statistics/585149/people-shot-to-death-by-us-police-by-gender/) Men get harsher sentences for similar crimes (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sentencing\_disparity#:\~:text=Starr%20from%20University%20of%20Michigan,from%20US%20federal%20court%20cases.) Women can claim their male victims abused them prior and are often believed (https://toysoldier.wordpress.com/2020/01/05/forced-to-penetrate-cases/…

This is exactly why I don't go out in public without my wife anymore and I generally only hold doors for her and our son. My bio mom was a manipulative cuck like that so I learned early in life that women were bad news. It took me a long time to learn not all women are ... but I am still leary of any woman I can see because an accusation is all it takes.

I'd have to go find it but a recent study was posted that suggested that a few companies that were sued for gender pay gaps ... were found to be true in that they were paying men quite a bit lower than women in similar positions. I'm probably going to eat a downvote or many for this ... but how the hell can we consider ourselves striving for equality when we can't even vote for equity policies. Like, Women should be considered military fodder just as much as men. Period. Is it a downside? I'm sure some people will see it that way but this is another equity double standard that needs to be removed. Edit: Thought this was a politics sub reddit 😅

It's rather interesting that just associating with Men's Rights somehow makes you anti-women? Amazing how easy it is to indoctrinate people. It goes to show how misandric society has become, especially on platforms like Reddit. I feel like trying to relate a vasectomy to an abortion is ... evil. A vasectomy prevents pregnancy entirely & is one effective form of birth control. Oh, I was talking about men as well. Everyone should learn to treat known and unknown people as possible aggressors. Is it fucked up that we all need to think this way? 100%. But it doesn't mean it's not a reality.

The counter argument I always hear is why they should have to. It's like a lot of people want to ignore how abhorrent mentally ill humans actually are. As if the higher the human population goes, the more likely crime rates go up but they all want to ignore how horrid these people are. Everyone should know how to defend themselves and everyone should be aware of their surroundings. Mentally ill people and criminals aren't going to go away, numerically speaking it will only increase.
